  • The extremism in Muslims?

Ok so the recent thing regarding hamza kashgari, where he said he wont pray for the prophet....

why are muslims being so extremist about it? why do they want his head by killing him?

I was so shocked when some of even my religious arab and pakistani friends who I viewed as rational/intelligent started saying things like this, that he should be killed or severly punished.

My question, are muslims even the so called rational/intelligent people living here in the west actually hidden extremist/radical people?

I personally think hamza kashgari will not be killed though, because I know the saudis can't afford the bad image they already have, I think the royal family will save him, who themselves are mostly secular

there is no such thing as a moderate muslim or an extreme one. you are either a muslim or you are not. muslims today have their impatience and lack of tolerance confused for being better than others. instead of educating this guy on why it's necessary to pray for the prophet as a muslim, they want to chop off his head. destroying a problem doesn't fix one's inability to fix it. it's just a sign of weakness and failure.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

These people argue that Sharia law says these things, I think the basic problem is how do we apply sharia law?. do we use it logically or do we just apply the same law in every situation, no matter how different it is? This is where the main problem is, the proper understanding and application of such laws.

also there is no extremist or liberal Islam, but there are many different types of muslims

he shouldn't be punished mainly because of what he said, but rather because he was stupid enough to say it out loud. what did he think would happen?

muslims are "extreme" these days because they are cornered and weak. the anti islamic expressions coming from the west and from idiots like this saudi, are just pouring salt on the wounds. muslims don't rule the world or have much political or military power to influence events, they only have their honor. when u only have honor, than u will go to extremes to defend it and have extreme reactions towards disrespect.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

unfortunately, its all too easy for english speaking educated atheists from muslim countries to attention-***** and insult islam. knowing that their cause will be championed by some liberal euro-american groups and the situation highlighted by major news networks, thus the likelyhood of them being let off and getting some coveted foreign citizenship.

Because a significant percent of Muslims are semi literate retards.

I was so shocked when some of even my religious arab and pakistani friends who I viewed as rational/intelligent started saying things like this, that he should be killed or severly punished.
Your friends are not rational or intelligent

I've come to the conclusion that a sizeable number have simian genes.

Before anyone else gets too smug, I'd apply the same to all religious and non religious groups, but Muslims currently have more mental retards within.

Note. I wouldnt apply this to Muslims in developing countries, just western muslims. Some Muslims in developing countries have every reason to be angry.

The man (Hamza Kashgari) should be allowed to say what he did. What he said was nothing wrong or bad. He should be able to pray in the way he wants and pray when he wants. Its called freedom.
Your friends are showing their inbuilt intolerance of freedom and independent thinking. They are very throughly brainwashed - but they are not aware of that - its an extremely thorough brain wash!

Muslims dont understand the concept of intellectual freedom, freedom of speech and thought, because these freedoms only exist in a secular society

^ The worst thing is when muslims hide and lie to themselves

I can bet there isn't a muslim who hasn't questioned his faith atleast once in his life. Who knows, maybe hamza kashgari is going through that phase of questioning. Instead of calling for his head, they should try to help him. roadrunner said it right, these people are nothing but retards and unfortunately they represent a very large part of the population.

^ did you even read what he wrote? he said "I wont pray for the prophet"

^ how is that making fun of him? if any thing the matter is between him and God, it has nothing to do with you guys who are calling for his head. Worry about yourself first before saying things about others

Karachi don't talk to him. Let him bark all he wants. It's pretty amusing to watch him refer to others as dogs whilst he is the one barking.
