I thought you were just being intellectually deceptive, 2010.
But now I see that there is a lot of misguided information on the net, and you just google search for what you want and copy and paste it without investigating it further...simply because you want to proven right that people who do extra acts of worship on the day of the prophet's birth are misguided.

Even though I quoted ahadith that showed that the Prophet, pbuh, noted the days of birth of other prophets, celebrated days of significance of other prophets, even took account of their places of birth, and their places of victory...you still think that it is not sunnah to do the same for the Prophet, pbuh, himself.
    So be it..

Once again, the hadith you are quoting is incomplete!

AbdurRahman ibn Amr as-Sulami and Hujr ibn Hujr said: We came to Irbad ibn Sariyah who was among those about whom the following verse was revealed: "Nor (is there blame) on those who come to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst: "I can find no mounts for you."
We greeted him and said: We have come to see you to give healing and obtain benefit from you.
Al-Irbad said: One day the Apostle of Allah (sallalahu alayhi wa ala alihi wa salam) led us in prayer, then faced us and gave us a lengthy exhortation at which the eyes shed tears and the hearts were afraid.
A man said: Apostle of Allah! It seems as if it were a farewell exhortation, so what injunction do you give us?
He then said: I enjoin you to fear Allah, and to hear and obey even if it be an Abyssinian slave, for those of you who live after me will see great disagreement. You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs. Hold to it and stick fast to it. Avoid novelties, for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is an error".
Note that the last line of the hadith is once again missing from your quotation.
How is it that every time you post a hadith, the significant part of it is always missing?

The last line of the hadith makes it clear that not even the "khulafa rashideen" should innovate.

Besides accusing me of being a Barelewis is a sign of how weak your own powers of reasoning are. As if those are the only people that celebrate the mawlid.
The mawlid, even in token appreciation, is celebrated in the Gulf States ...Even in Saudia Arabia, at least on state televisions, it is still acknowledged as the day of the Prophet's birth!
So should I call you deobandis? Salafis? ...the first two generations of Islam didn't do a lot of things that most of you do. And they did a lot of things that you don't do.

Are you blind ? or can't you just read,or is someone else posting this for you.

What about that during the time of the Prophet (pbuh) they used to pray 8 raka of Taraweeh, and Umar ibn al Khattab al Farooq (rad) interduced 20.

What about that the Quran was compiled during the era of Abu Bakr as Siddiqh (rad).

What about that the Adhan was interduced by Uthman Ibn Affan (rad).

And many other things which were done during the era of the rightly guided khulafa.

Or is it that you want to wrong us as you have wronged yourself.

That's not true. Taraweeh has been 20 rakats since the time of the prophet (pbuh). The ijma agrees that Taraweeh is 20 rakats. Different people used to pray different number of rakats during Taraweeh for example, some used to pray 36 rakats, and some 20 rakats. All the four madhas (hanafi, shafi, maliki, hanbali) are now agreed that Taraweeh is 20 rakats. Its only among shia who pray 8 rakats Taraweeh at home and some new salafis that say Taraweeh is only 8 rakats. We the people of ahlul sunnah wal jamah follow the jama and don't split from jama over such minor issues. So stick to jama and pray 20 rakats.

Adhan was introduced by Muhmmad (saw), and it was proposed by hazrat Omar (ra). The first person to give adhan was the habashi Bilal (ra).

Afghanistan2010, I think English is not your first language so you have a hard time undrestand Alchemist's argument. He has clearly shown the mistakes you made.

        Alchemist makes excellent point that
.the first two generations of Islam didn't do a lot of things that most of you do. And they did a lot of things that you don't do.
Many things are not part of the sunnah but at the same time they are not haram. The main principle in Islam is that "everything is hala until proven to be haram from Quran and sunnah". not the other way around.

Talk about something you have knowledge of.

If only you followed that advice yourself brother.

OK let's talk in a civilized manner. You accuse me of speaking from my stomach, now can you provide proof for your claim that Hazrat Omar (ra) introduced 20 rakat of Taraweeh while the prophet prayed only 8?
