We face bigger threats to Islam than that. Look how this Shia cleric behaves and how he argues.

Not according to the `ulama of the Sunnis. Muhammad ibn `Abd al-Wahhab's own brother condemned his teachings and wrote a book against them. When the Wahhabi fitna first arose in Arabia, the `ulama of that land condemned them and declared them Khawarij.

If they were part of the Sunnis they would not have fought and killed the Muslims of their own land when they first came forth. If they were part of the Sunnis they would not have become rebels and fought, in support of imperialism, against the Ottoman Caliphate. They continue to fight and kill Muslims today throughout the world.

Athari is not a school like the Maturidi and Ash`ari schools; it is a way that is encompassed in the Maturidi and Ash`ari schools. And Wahhabi/"Salafi" beliefs are far from being Athari. Wahhabis are anthropomorphists who liken Allah to the creation. They declare certain major sins to be kufr. They reject tawassul. They deny the miracles of the awliya. All of these beliefs of theirs contradict Sunni doctrine.

Firstly, no, they do not follow hadiths. They pick and choose what they follow from the Qur'an and Sunna. Secondly, they are not qualified to perform ijtihad. And thirdly, if not following a madhhab were no better and no worse than following a madhhab, there would be no need for madhhabs and for following madhhabs, and the `ulama would not have followed and learned and taught madhhabs.

Tasawwuf has nothing to do with worshiping graves and bowing to humans. No Muslims worship graves. Such and other accusations of shirk are typical of Wahhabism; they label Muslims as mushriks and kafirs and use that as justification for fighting and killing them.

Either Tasawwuf is some non-existent or meaningless concept, or it is that specific science which the great scholars of Tasawwuf have defined. If it is that great science, then can you cite a single Wahhabi/"Salafi" work that supports that science and its scholars?

Should I cite the fatwas from Wahhabi books and sites that attack Tasawwuf itself and its scholars and its principles?

How is Tasawwuf taught in Wahhabi schools? Which of the great Sufis do they follow? Which of the great Sufi texts do they use? Name specific schools and scholars and texts.

Since you refer to "modern day sufis," can you refer to a single teaching of a "modern day" Sufi scholar that is not found in the teachings of the classical Sufi scholars? "Modern day Sufis" is a smokescreen used by some to hide what is in essence an antagonism to Sufism. The practices they refer to as "modern day" are in fact traditional.

The word wahabi is used by the secularists, and those who hate Islam from the core of their hearts. Anybody striving for the essence of Islam is called wahabi. Anybody talking about shariat and Islamic way of life is labelled as wahabi. Anybody talking about modesty, chastity and Islamic values is labelled as wahabi. This word is mostly used by the shia, barevlits, secularists and pseudo Muslims like soldat amir and toramana. Those who are being labelled with this name are the only guys who stand for Islam no matter what the circumstances are. The rest have slipped in the western culture. They have already surrendered to the western way of life and most of them are striving to bring it to our societies and implement it on our people.

Brother, sorry to say but I have been very close to sufis and tareeqat people and I have observed them from very closed... The bad thing about them is that every sufi and every pir and every tareeqat follower has his own teachings and not a single sufi or mureed follow or endorse the teachings of the other sufi.
They make talk claims but their claim shatters down when it comes to talk about their unity.
One follower of a sufi can't dare to talk about another sufi. It is a matter of great disrespect for him. Each sufi consider himself the superior over another sufi.

The people you are talking about are all dead now.

The salafis I know always refer to what the pious predecessors did (the companions of the prophet and the 3 first generations of muslims).

Not to what happened after the birth of Ibn Abdul Wahab.

Do the majority of (non-salafi) sunni scholars declare salafis as khawarijs ? NO.

So I don't see why I should follow your opinion which is, should I remind it, influenced by the very fact you are a Sufi.

                  I agree with this part.

The people who did this were wrong.

But current salafis have nothing to do with this and are not accountable for what other people did.

That is like me saying : there is no Sufi brigade fighting against the invaders in Afghanistan.

Therefore, Sufis are not part of the Sunnis and support imperialism.

This is a great accusation you are making here.

Do you have an example ?

Show me a fatwa from a salafi scholar where the murder of muslims is ordened.

I don't agree with their 'aqeedah either.

The explanations they give about the attributes of Allah SWT are not clear but I don't think this is enough to say they liken Allah SWT to the creation.

Are you ready to declare, here, that they liken Allah SWT to the creation and therefore that they are mushriks kafirs ?

We are more than 500 people (all my family im Morocco) to bear witness that I am a Saint and that I performed miracles such as flying and making a pink elephant appear in the sky.

I am a Wali (a Saint) and if you deny my miracle you automatically contradict Sunni doctrine.

One of the reasons why Catholic Church lost all credibility is because of the "Virgin Mary Miracles". If you want sufism to follow the same fate as Catholicism, then you can't try harder.

Coming from a Sufi talking about Salafis, this is pretty funny.

Indeed Tasawwuf has nothing to do with it but there exist a correlation between people who call themselves Sufis and people who ask for help to dead people, people who bow down to human beings.

The Prophet (صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم) repeatedly condemned grave-worshipping in the authentic Hadith :

Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that. (Sahih Muslim)

May Allah's curse be on the Jews for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets. (Sahih Bukhari)

May Allah curse the Jews and Christians for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets. (Sahih Bukhari)

If any religious man dies amongst those people they would build a place of worship at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Bukhari)

Do not sit on the graves and do not pray facing towards them. (Sahih Bukhari)

what is a wahabi? A "wahabi" is a word used by ignorant grave-worshippers who are conversely called brelwis, they like to call themselves "sunnis" but in fact their teachings couldn't be further than the sunah e.g. celebrating prophets birthday and other erroneous hindu-borrowed traditions from their forefathers in india.

You can see their comical chicken dances on youtube.

True, I have concluded all those who use this name in my last post. The are pseudo Muslims and American slaves and westernize surrendered secularists.
