WAHABI Muslims are Sunni extremists and they interpret Quran and Hadith literally and most of the terrorists are inspired from Wahabism. Most of them are Ahle hadith and dont follow the 4 or 5 Imams of Fiq.Most of them are also Salafis. They are followers of Abdul Wahab of Najd an extremist religious scholar of saudi Arabia.
Sunnis are all non Shia Muslims including Wahabis, Sufis,Deobandis and Brelvis.

Wahabism and such things are over exaggerated, why?
because there maybe some people among the Muslims who are pretty extreme about certain issues, but to call them wahabi is not proper because Al Wahab is the name of Allah.
This calling comes from the British Colonialists who wanted division among the Ahlus Sunnah by calling some such and some such like the Americans want to seperate the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in different groups Haqqanis,Akhundi , Dadullahs Battalion and similar.
There are people among the muslims as you mentioned they have lack of knowledge and they see our Arab brothers (those who have few knowledge) praying very bright and wide and they follow them because they think they are knowledgeable, but the Ulemas have stated this in numerous statements and fatawaas to follow the prophet(pbuh) not the arabs.
so forget to accusing and cursing and insulting others take care of yourself and your family and relatives,friends....stay close to Quran,Sunnah and the rightly guided Companions,Tabieen and the 4 Madhabs.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

Extremism is a relative concept. One might see the sufi or shia deviances as forms of religious extremism.Originally posted by osho View PostWAHABI Muslims are Sunni extremists and they interpret Quran and Hadith literally
Qutb has actually played a way greater role than Abdul Wahab in the mind of such people .Originally posted by osho View Postmost of the terrorists are inspired from Wahabism.
Anyways, all of this is false. Most of the terrorists in this world are inspired from Judeo-Christianism. And you know it better than me.

If I don't follow any of the 4 Imams and I don't follow Abdul Wahab either.
Then, what is my denomination according to you ?
Also, what is the difference between a salafi and a wahabi ?
Nope. Khawarijs are neither sunnis nor shia. Quranists are neither sunnis nor shias.Originally posted by osho View PostSunnis are all non Shia Muslims including Wahabis, Sufis,Deobandis and Brelvis.
There are shia sufis.

Can he contact me ?
InshaAllah i look forward that he will reach me, we can have discussion.
i know people who are very new to islam, and they split into sects and make islam something that is limited and retard, but islam is the contrary islam frees every person from every distress and problems.
Islam is not extrem, except in love for Allah and his messengers and his angels, and his ummah
islam is not fundamental, except in believing in the truth.
islam is not terrorism, except for terrorizing the enemies of the poor and innocents.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

Wahhabis refer to themselves as "Salafi." They also refer to themselves, in places like India and Pakistan, for example, as "Ahl al-Hadith." Wahhabis differ from Sunnis in that some of their beliefs contradict Sunni beliefs. In matters of law (wudu, prayer, etc.) they do not follow one of the four Sunni madhhabs. And they reject the traditional Sunni science of purification of the heart, Tasawwuf (Sufism).Originally posted by Naatki View Postwhat is the difference between Wahabi muslims and Suni?Last edited by Mujib; 12-01-2011, 09:42 PM.

Refer your cousin to the articles at masud.co.uk. It's an excellent resource on traditional Islam.

Completely false. They are parts of the sunnis.
That's like saying that Imam Malik's beliefs contradicts Imam Shafi'i beliefs therefore they cannot be in the same group and one of them is not Sunni.
Athari 'aqeedah = salafis school of thought.
The Atharis are considered to be one of three Sunni schools of 'aqeedah : Athari, Ashari, and Maturidi.
Originally posted by Mujib View PostIn matters of law (wudu, prayer, etc.) they do not follow one of the four Sunni madhhabs.
Indeed, they follow litterraly what is written in the hadiths.
Why would I blame them ? They are no better and no worse than those who follow one of the 4 madhabs.
They reject worshipping graves and bowing to human beings, not Tasawwuf in itself.Originally posted by Mujib View PostAnd they reject the traditional Sunni science of purification of the heart, Tasawwuf (Sufism).
You are just slandering salafis to defend your own sect.
I am not a salafi but I agree on their point of view about Sufi deviances.

No actually he is correct; you're not apart of the Ahl us Sunnah Wal Jama'ah but are actually apart of the Khariji doctrine.
Athari 'aqeedah = salafis school of thought.
Athariyeen believe that a person who commits a major sin except Blatant Shirk or Apostasy is still a Muslim.
Wahhabis believe that someone who commits major sins such as not praying becomes a kafir.
These are the views of the kharijis.
You are just slandering salafis to defend your own sect. You're defending Wahhabis to hide their khariji ideas.

You are not Mu'tazali and he is not Khariji ...no one on this forum is.
If the criteria for being a khariji is to raise the sword against another muslim...then even you have expressed that desire against sunni, al hanif and afghan2010...

Exactly thank you brother for your comment,
Mujib is wrong regarding the Tasawuf( it is taught but not that tasawuf and tawassul that the modern day sufis do) there are some among the people who call themselves sufis and make deviant things which are very away from the islam our prophet (pbuh) taught.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.
