Hanafi or Salafi???

the youth seems very very lost now a days in what they are and contradict mostly everything they say and think they are ulama in 2 weeks!

so are you hanafi? or salafi? or one of the 4 madhabs?

I think due to the mass amount of information that leads to confusion? Some people stick to what their forefathers were, others are everything, and then the rest are nothing...

I am not so sure if they contradict themselves that much ...but due know that there is a confusion among people about the madhabs, and some people do not understand the hikmah in madhabs...

Im muslims , but i agree with the argumentation of abu hanifa and the other three scholars but most afghans have been taught by the argumentation (madhab) of abu hanifa (rahimahullah) but in cases of confusions , people should stick to the ahadith.

Hanafi with Sufi tendencies. I consider Imam Abu Hanifa my ideal as he followed Quran and reason and was believing or aware of few hadith. More than 70% Mulims follow Imam Abu Hanifa.

I consider Salafis/wahabis/ahle Hadith as extremists and most of the time violent extremists and terrorists and cause of many problems of Pashtuns now a days. The same can be said of Extremist Deobandis and Panj Piris although they are Hanafis. Brelvis are far better than Deobandis.

Before the invasion of Salafism in the aftermath of the war against the former USSR ,Pashtuns were Hanafis and Brelvis in out look. Although they were not aware of the word Brelvi which is more attached to Punjabis but their beliefs were all like today's Brelvis. Brelvis are pacifists, spiritualists and take Islam as a religion and not a complete system like Taliban who want to implement Islam in all walks of life. This is a kind of secularism which Pashtuns also practise in the form of separating Hujra and Jumat.

how did islam move east past afghanistan to india and then indian sprouted school of thoughts head westerly again to us? did the barelvi and deobandi's discover something new?

People like to create sects.

Just look ScimitarXEdge, he has created his own interpretations. I'm pretty sure if he was in a third world country he would have rejected all scholars, declared himself the mahdi and created his own sect.

I know sects formed long ago, i believe the word shia means a faction so i guess it is the first sect after death of prophet(S). mutazili had their views concurrently. BUT barelvi and deobandi are recent shoots from india. did they uncover some new understanding? and how can you tell without asking which is which.

while on that matter, there are a whole bunch of green turban group, black turban group also from india. any ideas abot their uniforms of green turban and white or brown scarves, they are all on islamic channels. on that matter there are islamic sects on tv channels. what is happening?

Im not deobandi nor brevli , i oppose such things.

Be muslim hold the quran , the sunnah and the four schools of fiqh.

To me the brevlis are farther away from the ahlus sunnah than deobandis,
i have witnessed that deobandis rely closer to the ahadith than brevlis,these groups in reality doesn't exists they are man made by those who want to start destructions and division inside the ahlus sunnah.
