When you spread evil, it's a Muslims duty to counter that evil with good, so I will not

    • Mutakhasis can say it in a better way. But what he is saying about walid basyuni is right. He did make fun of the mujahideen that fought against the soviets. Even the americans praised the fighters for Gods sake lol.

I have the talk that he gave on peacetv. I watched it again and it is clear. I do not want to jump to conclusions. But if you look at the Quran. Only the munafiqeen mock at the mujahideen the way he did. And only the munafiqeen are unpleasant towards jihad.

And at ilmfest. The topic itself was "Recapturing Islam from the Jihadists" Not terrorists. This shows that almaghrib has a problem with people who do jihad. And this is not something to be taken lightly.

I attended a few of their classes. Even though lot of stuff i already knew. It was a good refreshing. But statements attacking the awliya of Allah should not be tolerated. Especially the way walid basyuni spoke. Calling people losers and outcasts of society. Not good manners for a teacher.

Like we say in my city "the caravan (of martyrs) is moving on but the dog is still barking"

Al-Maghrib teachers are major hypocrites when it comes to defending Islam from the kuffar. They promote this super washed liberal FBI-version and even tell others to betray Muslims and spy on them and hand them over to the kuffar. This was said by their "sheik" Yasir Qadi.

Walid Basyouni slandered and insulted the Mujahideen that fought against the Communists. May Allah [swt] humiliate this enemy of Islam, even the Soviets respected the Mujahideen.

I have met and spoke with them personally about these issues. I have recorded their cursed tongues shamelessly promoting these things. And this is just the scratch on the surface.

And stuff that they teach, which is suppose to be free in the first place, can be learned by reading a book at home.

They will even try to sue you for copyright issues that prevent Islamic knowledge from other people who cannot afford their class, cds and books.

So please people, don't waste your time and money on them, you can put it to better use.

did u really talk about this with him???? can u post the recording if he is really hating on mujahediin ii will personally curse him in his face :@

                      • I've attended a few classes. The experience wasn't bad, actually nice to be around good muslims... but from respected and wiser ppl than me I've heard some negative things about Al Maghrib (allahu Alam if thats true) so I've kept away until I come to an understanding where I can at least differentiate btwn certain things ppl say (How I'll come to that point I am not sure)..but Alhamdulillah where I live there's lots of different places / events / etc etc that offer knowledge, so I am not limited.

                        • Zazai, you can create another thread if it's alot of info Just make sure "AlMaghrib" is in the title

Gulmini, no one is asking the people to go to AlMaghrib classes and become robots to their system. Everyone has the ability to think and see for themselves what is true and authentic - you aren't spoonfed anything until you choose to be spoonfed. Make the effort to know what you should take and shouldn't take
