Khaney, *hugs* We know AlMaghrib rocks :D
Pakhtoongal, if you're serious then you'll find it somehow. Go to www.almaghrib.org and click "enroll now" and it'll show you a list of classes that are taking place in USA, Canada, and UK when you click the tabs.
Almaghrib is okay. Its ridicuously expensive though, and I know there are ways to get the scholarships and stuff, but thats limited and usually the volunteers take them all
I will attend the Ilmfest though ... its coming here May 10th I think
Ilmfest is also by Almaghrib, but its not a class. Its a one day event from 9am - 10 pm I believe. The tickets are only $ 20 as opposed to the classes which cost around $165. The classes has one teacher and he teaches a specific topic, while in Ilmfest there are most than 1 scholar (around 10) and they talk about all kind of different topics. Where is it held? well its not in one city only, its in different cities on different days, for example in Canada I know they are holding it in Toronto and Ottawa. To see where they are holding it in UK or USA, go to almaghrib website, here it is ....
Al Maghrib seems to be another attempt to arabise the innocent Muslims and may be many of Pashtuns by their so called seminars and events. I dont think there will be many arab muslims participating in all these activities,,,,,,majority will be of non Arabs,,,,,please correct me as I dont have any first hand experience of these events.
