Your arguments are very weak. You are arguing for the sake of winning an argument.

Saying stuff like your arguments are weak while you have not even tried to address them correctly you are not scoring any points.

I ask you a very simple question and give me an honest answer. I am not personally attacking you, but asking you a simple question.

As a mixed member of this forum having both Pashtun and Tajik blood in you. Would you have brought forth the issue if you were not half Tajik?

And asking this question implies that having a certain opinion must be tied to someones ethnic background. This might be the case with Pashtun Nationalists. But normal people are able to have certain views and opinions without being compelled to block any view or opinion that is not considered as popular within their own circuit.

I don't think my preference for the name Khurasan has anything to do with my Tajik background. Unlike most of the Pashtun Nationalists on this forum who have been spoon fed to hate others and to oppose Islam by their parents, I am an independent person. My political views and ideology is not influenced by my parents.

Also how do you know majority of the Afghans want name change?

I don't know that. Neither have I claimed that there is such a desire. This is my idea. I am speaking on behalf of myself.

What exactly have I denied? Can you prove that the people of Afghanistan are ethnic Arians? Any scientific evidence?

I will repeat your suggestion will help one side of the table as you are only satisfying the minority, but my suggestion will help both sides of the table as it will be a name which will include no race, language, tradition and culture.

First of all take this as a brothers suggestion and don't get too emotional. For future reference you need to study a bit of history before you can make any suggestions. There is no problem with personal opinion, but when you suggest something you need to back your comments with proof. Many people on this forum might be Pashtun Nationalist, but I'm not. I am an Afghan and I'd rather see my Afghanistan built and have everyone enjoy equal life.

As for Khorasan we both agree that you cannot prove me wrong when I mention it's associated with non-Pashtuns and for Ariana we agree that your knowledge is extremely weak.

My advice to you is to stop moving towards personal attacks. I'm glad you had a great laugh, but it doesn't sound too well when you connect the laugh with history. It will more likely turn into tears.

You have to post something significant in order for me to refute your suggestion and come back with something logical. So far you have posted nothing, but emotional suggestions which has been laughable. I'm glad to make you laugh, but this is not kids forum for you to entertain yourself through childish and personal attacks.

Politics and History is not childs game it takes years of experience and study to gain the knowledge. You can't sleep one night and get up the following day and believe you are a Politician.

Your Khorasan is nothing but a fitna tool in the hands of hideous people who are nothing but muderous, traitorous munafiqs and the enemy of muslims of Afghanistan. There are no true authentic reasons and demands who deem Afghanistan as unfare name and demand Khorasan, other than what I have described above creed. Appeasing them will neither be justice nor will stop them from further fitna that they really are.

You may bracket me as a nationalists or murtad, but I am neither. I am alahdulilah a proud muslim and Islam is my giudance (not Talibism). I adore all muslims, particularly our brothers be them Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbaks etc.

At the end of the day, unless you don't believe in the prophecies of Khorasan etc. as you have mentioned that you don't - I don't see why your own immediate family should have, or every had a problem with being "Afghan". Dear Member Please pay a closer attention into this, and forget about all of that Internet crap.

From historical prospective Khorasan is just a misleaded name that was applied by Arabs over confusion with Khawaruism. Khorasan throught out its history was applied to different cities at different times and that it was never had a fix border. Its was just a general geographical location, from the direction to where sun rises.

Here are few maps that names some of the "Kingdoms" in Anciant times.

I think I have posted it before, But I am going repost it again.





































Therefore there is no such thing as "Khorasan" or any nations, look at these maps borders changes and names changed depanding on empire and what they considered their kingdom, Khorasan is perhabs became famous otherwise if Saffarids king would not of been killed maybe it was to be known as "Sistan" who knows? Regardless to what so ever Today Afghanistan is Afghanistan.
In these maps do you see Iran? Azerbijan? no Do you see Persia? nope, Do you see Ariana? Nope it was Pars and that over exagurated into Persia in western form that applied to many kingdoms, including our Afghanistan. I call that BS naming Fars over our kingdoms and nation? How would they feel we claim their land as part of Zabulistan after all didn't Mahmud of Ghazni were 75% Zabulis? didn't they conqured Iran? Just because Savifad the last PErsian empire took some parts here and there has now has the right to force their name "Persia" or Fars on us?

Needless to say but even Persia a name that applied all over Iran was rejected by population which was another reason smart Shah of Persia had to think something fast and so they decided to name their country Iran lol with odd claims from Sassanian periods. By defination they meant to steal our name "ariana". Now Again how ould Heratis and Kandaharis feel it Afghanistan was to called "Kabulistan" if it was our King just like Raza Shah he too would of changed it back to Afghanistan. Because its what Afghans believe in. And we believe We are Afghans now, We were afghan 1000 years ago and we were Afghan 5000 years ago.

Nick, thank you for this post. As I said, Khorasan is the name of a region a territory. Not of any ethnicity.

And therefore, a neutral name. Nick's maps are the evidence for this.
