They are sell out, so called Pakhtuns, and do not represent the general Pakhtun masses. The Pakhtun history is replete with such " sold commodities".We do not own them and we should not be ridiculed for them. Btw do you own Bacha Saqa?, he ruled you once . There were Pashtuns who fought for Babar against Pakhtun rulers. Do you feel they are in your fold?.

I agree with you, wrora! It is the greatest malady of Pakhtuns. It is because we lack sincere Pakhtun national leadership and that we are unaware of our national destiny and goal.

BTW I agreed with it until you said was Bache saqao my hero..lolzz I am from Shangla. It is said some of us are doing this to each other. You always talk about Urdu speaking Pashtuns yes we have them but your persianization is more rise.

No need to travel to afghanistan to verify dominance of dari. Out of 22 afghanistan channels only 2 or 3 (shamshad & lemar) are in pashto rest are all in dari...it is enough proof for all of us.

My question and concern is what are these two parties in this thread achieving from insulting one another? Does anyone care to elaborate?

1 Party argues Pashtuns of Pakistan are Desified. The other party argues Pashtuns of Afghanistan are Persianized. Its obviously partially true. Is insulting one another under disguise really helping us improve our social lives? No its not yet that is all I have seen in this thread.

"Kabulis are Persianized".
"Peshawaris are Desified".

Stop with these decade-old arguments and lets work on our future. Pashtuns of Pakistan are our brothers. We love them, we embrace them and we won't even have a special place them for them in our hearts. Why? Because we are already the same people. No point of sweet-talking one another. We share the same culture, language, history and perhaps ancestry. Jasmine and Luffy might even be distant relatives without realizing. We need to think positively. It really is a shame. We should be defending one another. I would have expected Pashtuns of both sides to defend one another against intruders. Instead I see a formulation of thoughts that are leading to disguised insults. Wishful thinking eh? I and we should give the same treatment to a Kandahari like we would give to a Peshawari. I and we should cook the same food for a Swati like we would cook for a Kabuli.


Give it a rest guys, we are all the same people. This thread reminds me of 2 brothers are arguing.

Oh jeez! Northern areas despite of being peaceful and having enough facilities to watch TV, despite of them being financially supported by Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Persians in USA and Persians in Germany, and also three or four channels being aired from Iran by Iranians while Pukhtoons have to pay for their TV channels from their own pocket and a large part of South still not having enough facilities to watch TV, yet Tajiks have got much more channels than us!? Oh my Holy God! How on earth is that even possible!?

Oh, by the way; Majority of those Dari channels also got programs and events in Pukhto and you will see those programs pretty much every day on their channel. Ahh, life became so much easier now!

I have been in afghaanforums, every conversation (beside english) there was in dari despite of the fact that more than half of its members were pashtuns. There was only small thread dedicated to chatting in pashto. Tajiks there did'not know pashto but pashtuns were fluent in dari. Every member from kandahar on that forum was doing chitchat with others in fluent dari. AF is very neutral site and it represent afghanistan very correctly.

Lets admit that we all pashtuns are big failures in giving importance and value to our mother tongue in both afghanistan and pakistan.

^ Oh you even noticed how many out of those thousands are Pukhtoons? Because as far as I have observed that website, majority members are from Kabul city, Mazar, Herat (possibly the biggest number), Panjsher and Takhar; All Tajiks. Only Kandaharis you will notice in big numbers, you will hardly hear of a Nangarhari, Paktiawal, Khosti, etcetera. And those Pukhtoons were born and raised in Kabul city which makes it obvious why they speak Dari instead, but you are lying by saying a minority speaks and understand Pukhto. That forum represents Afghans of West, not those in Afghanistan because those active from Afghanistan there speak both Dari and Pukhto. There we go.

which Pushtoon political party in Pakistan or Afghanistan is working for loy Afghanistan. I don't see on Pakistani side and don't know about Pushtoon nationalist party in Afghanistan. sa malgaree Gonra Gonra kee aow zan la khola khwagee. as long as there is border between pushtoons this discussion about capital of loy Afghanistan is useless
