Same is the case with kohat, naukhar( naushehra), Dera Ismaeel Khan, Quetta. We too have around 30 percent non-pashto speaking minority. Even many pashtuns speak Urdu/hindi in their homes.Originally posted by AfghanladyBls I argue similar points. What are we going to do eith Hindko speakers in Peshawar

i understand where Maseed comes from
Non Pashtuns would never accept a Loy Afghanistan
Ive said time and time again, that if we Afghans lay claim to Lar Pakhtunkhwa, we have to renounce our claim to Northern Afghanistan
They too have ethnics straddling both sides of the border, how can we put a fence between tajik and tajik, or uzbek and uzbek but try to cut down this pashtun fence?
Based on logic and morality, only a united Pakhtunkhwa makes sense
also, there is no reason why minorities should not be accepted. think about it, how can a state of Pakhtuns reject its guests? cmon guys lol

Tajiks don't have any kinship with the people of Tajikistan because the word Tajik didn't use to be the name of an ethnic group or nation. It is a word just like AJAM.Originally posted by Amir al Ghaznavi View Posti understand where Maseed comes from

Lets decide now that we should support an Afghanistan that doesnt include the North Parts? Wouldnt that be fair. We can call it Loy Afghanistan and this time every Afghan will be called Pashtun.
If there is a Unfied Pashtun State, how will Punjabis benefit from this? you think a dominance Dari speaking Afghanistan is going to accept us with open arms and support our integration?
Pakistan needs an Afghanistan that is why there worst nightmare would be a Unified Pashtun State. A state whereby Pushto is the only Language taught in schools with English as a mediem language.
Do you think we will be speaking Urdu or Punjabi in a Unified Pashtun State?
Do you think Nawaz Sharif and co will control our resources when our state is reconised by the UN and International Community?
We wil have our own army and police, how will fund these Mullahs to destroy our state when infact we control them ourselves?
Kind Regards

You are undermining your own premise here. And plus you still have to contend with minorities...so you have to ask yourself that if you are going to have minorities in this state of yours anyways, then why not extend it to the North. Where your own people live as well as a population that has not seceeded from you. Why are giving up strategic land and you are making it seem if this is even plausible. If these powerful northerners wanted this then they would have tried already, but even they don't see it as a political option.Originally posted by BehavedMaseed View PostOk Fair enough.

How is controlling a bunch of Tajiks and Uzbeks as strategich land?Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostYou are undermining your own premise here. They already have made Half of Afghanistan speak Farsi. Will you break down the Pashtun spirit more to secure this Strategic Land issue?
Plus Pakistan is much a bigger threat to us all. Pakistan at the end of the day will not support a Loy Pakhtunkhwa.

Wrora! it is , rather the other way round. You still need to learn, "che agai(haa) mashra da ka charga--?). Which one is aboriginal etymological name, you need to know, Wrora!.Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostThey are re inventing the wheel and have opened countless threads...yet it is based on that one faulty assumption.
Ahmad Shah Baba used the word" Pashtunkhwa" and similarly Khushal Baba warned " Pashtuns" in the above stanza, which i have no right to change.Khusal Baba has tremendously used the name " Afghan", by which he meant " Pashtun" only. As he said;
Da Afghan pa nang me otarala toora
Nangyale da zamane Khushal Khattak yam
Believe me he was obssessed with his nation" Pashtun/Afghan" only and he did not wield his sword ( toora) for Tajiks, Uzbeks, Hazaras etc. I simply do not digest that I and an Uzbek be called by the same name, Afghan. "Afghan" was my identity and I will not allow any Tom, **** and Harry to use my name and disrobe me of my historical identity. If my name " Afghan" is allowed to be corrupted like this in my Fatherland then I will prefer to be called " Pakhtun".

Afghanistan, central asia, Indian subcontinent, Iran, and even the Ottoman empire went through some form of Persianization. This is what you all forget. Persian is the historical lingua franca of the region so it has influence on most of the Islamic world. It is like french in Europe....no matter what one's native language was, French was quite popular. The is the case with farsi. You guys forget that important fact and make it seen as if Tajiks imposed persian on you. They did not. Half of Afghanistan does not speak farsi, it is the native language of 20-30 %, the remainder use it as a lingua franca. This is a key difference. Pakistan will not support any Pashtun state, even within its boundaries. What Pakistan has to say about this is irrelevant.Originally posted by BehavedMaseed View PostHow is controlling a bunch of Tajiks and Uzbeks as strategich land?
