The new Silk Road and other similar projects do try make land trading route more cost effective but still 85 % of world trade volume moves by sea. It is not just economic, Durrand turned Afghanistan into buffer zon thus ground for dog fight of super powers. Worst the creation of Pakistan and the absence of any national coherence, political Islam has become the ONLY means at the government's disposal for keeping their synthetic nation glued together. Hence the underlying reason for Pakistan's support of extremist movements in Afghanistan...which has nothing to do with religion or any pretence to moral virtue. There is no other way around, either we break filth of Durrand or it will break usای وخته بېرته راشه يو افغان وزېږوه

Nothing kills a discussion more then comparing Halahazrat Zahir Shah with brainwashed paki dogs Taliban.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostI don't know anything about Kabul people converting to Christianity, and maybe you're right about the Modern Era, but if they converted because Taliban psychopaths, they would have converted also because Zahir Shah being a lazy incompetent leader or because Najib, this would have been inevitable because all these leaders were concerned about their power interests more than anything and didn't care much about social integrity. The perfect setting for "AID Workers" to come to start "preaching" the Gospel. If these people find more peace in Christianity, then so be it. I can't control their destiny.
Aman wasn't the heroic leader some people want to make him out to be. In fact none of our leaders were heroic. This is just stuff our "Kaka" and "Baba" jans have fed us. He wasn't up against Pakistani Proxy Terrorists or Saudi Funded Sheikhs, The largest religious institutions were Sufi Brotherhoods during his time. If Afghanistan was harsh it was because tribal societies tend to be harsh. And Aman was also harsh, he was involved in many massacres of both Pashtun and Non-Pashtuns. He may not have been a British puppet, but he wanted to be a Kraut-puppet, he even paraded his wife like a show poodle in Berlin to impress them. Even if his intentions were to modernize Afghanistan, had nothing to do with making Afghanistan an independent state, he was willing to let Afghanistan become the springboard for German hegemony in Asia.
The heroism that's attributed to these types of men fall apart when put under a critical lens.ای وخته بېرته راشه يو افغان وزېږوه

Notice how this Paki is not even playing around, he is going for the kill..his main and only target is Afghan state...this is why he magnifies negativite news and down plays positive. He also try to justify the impose paki violence and then use it to blackmail Afghans..the mullahs you are so found of gets popped and disposed by enemy just like cockroaches Omar, Mansour, Sami. You and rest of your paki girls in this forum owe 4 million Afghans who risk their lives and voted an apology. Come on surprise us with display of paki courage.Originally posted by khushal View PostWe've already had this discussion. First of all, the Taliban is not a cohesive group with no central authority. All sorts of people fly the white flag that have different reasons to grab their guns, some are kidnap for ransom criminals, others are drug dealers, others hijack trucks, others setup posts on roads and collect taxes from passers.
In Afghansitan, Criminals run the show. You have guys that fly the white flag kidnapping people for ransom. Some join them because they have a badi and they need support or protection from their rival who is with the ANA. People join the ANA to get some sort of leverage over their rival which forces their rival to join the guys that fly the white flag. All these things happen because the Afghan gov is a fraud, its fake and the Afghan gov is run by criminals. They neither can control the guys that fly the white flag and neither the guys that use ANA leverage to crush their rival. On top of that there are private militias that are funded by the CIA and other funded by the ISI. A bunch of gangs roaming around freely because the Afghan gov is fake and is more like a mafia than a real gov. These gangs are a symptom of a fake Afghan gov created by a foreign power intervention. I don't blame these gangs. If you lived there, you might be in one of them out of necessity.
If the US cant do its job of providing security for the people and control these gangs, then they should leave. This is international law and a natural law, that if you cant do your job, you resign or you should be fired. Its not about apologists, its about logic. I have been a member here since 2010, 8 years and I have been saying from the beginning that the Afghan gov wont succeed because looking at the evidence, that is the logical conclusion.
You on the other hand easily get fooled. I remember a militia was sprung up by the CIA who fought the Taliban and was saying they will fight the gov as well and you thought these were the true righteous people. hahahahaha. The afghans have two choices senior, its the mullah or its the Azmel types and you know the Azmel types cant fight. They can only deceive.
You are evading the question...what is your take on Durrand line? This question is for you and your girlfriend Abdul the paki mule.ای وخته بېرته راشه يو افغان وزېږوه

LOL. Says the gay boy that tried to say dog and it came out as "lice" in Pashto but not even said correctly then.
yet he never ever mentions the crimes against humanity of his brown butt Punjabi fathers in Pashtunistan…
^ coming from a conspiracy theorist who claims 3/4 of Kabul got baptized. You sure you aren't bending over behind someone as they side spray their used bidet water onto your face and justify it by calling a baptism?
since daalChawal Punjo gives him depends on weak and subjected Afghans by using religion.
Says the guy who is recorded as mocking in his own words "your" Quran (which he misspells as Qorhan like Daruish the pseudo? Farsiban LOL
People here knows me for years and they know where I stand when it comes to Afghan National Interest.
Yes they do and they know you don't stand - you bend over and put your arms behind you while using your effeminate hands to spread out your buttock to emulate what you wish Afghans would do for your paymaster the same way you do
The simply fact that an anti-Pashtu like FirDous
He's not anti Pashtun. He's anti you, which I like, respect, and think is a great trait in any human being
and some pakis are cheering for you says all about you...a living and bredding contrediction just like Ali Jenna, I honestly don’t know how you pakis live with yourselves.
We have been over this - your lineage claims squarely place you as ancestral half Lahori per the invented Zikria claims.
I don’t want to brage but I have done pretty good in US of A for myself.
Yet like a greasy FOB that wears gold chains and whose chest hair pops out of his collar you cannot spell simple words like brag breathing and contradiction despite the support of spell check. That in and of itself proves you are incapable of being productive but are a leach on society and probably lived off cheating the welfare system and then made some fast cash off the war.
I have not received a penny from Afg gov or non-gov in Afg.
^ your nose just got longer Pinocchio
I only visit Afg bc I love my forefathers country
Your contradictory claims as Daruish and then Azmal do not permit the pinpointing of the "forefather" country. However, every nation has a sewer system of some sort and so we can say parasites like you are globalists
and also to take back what communist took from my family.
Yea, yea, yea - communists would've had you as their fan boy if they had been on the winning side and if they cut your welfare checks
Speaking of gas station usually it is Apu like you pakis that work there.(not that anything wrong with working in gas station, rather the be gas station worker then brainwashing kids into sucide bomber.)
A lot more is wrong with **** like you preaching to Americans and Afghans alike that if their military stays just one more year things will get better x 17 years. Your parasitic effect has damaged multiple countries."2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

I doubt it. That would probably be political suicide. I don't think anyone in Russia wants to fight in Afghanistan again.Originally posted by BarakzaiAbdali View PostWell, what may happen when and if the US leaves is Putin may then commit resources and possibly troops.
Indeed.Originally posted by BarakzaiAbdali View PostI am not disagreeing w Iblis and Firdaus in principle. Some may decide that the government is a preferable option. My point is that true (not insinuated and not conspiracy theory orientated) occupation has consequences. We are seeing this today in North and South Korea. South Korea for a long time assumed that they had a stalwart Ally that cared for their lives. However, when things were getting hot and DT was asking About the use of nuclear arms - They were clearly astounded that no part of this calculation took South Korea’s well-being into account. He even went so far as to sacrifice joint exercises if he saw that to his benefit.
We just all have to realize that in this cruel world - No one else other than ourselves has our interests and Our well-being close to their heart.
PS: LOL at the claim that 10% of Kabul converted to Christianity. I missed that before. The crusaders are so desperate to convert Afghans that they're basically kidnapping the kids of people they bomb and raising them as Christians in the US, because their efforts at proselytizing in Afghanistan are so ineffective. Alhamdulillah one thing that has never had much success in our country is Christian missionaries.

Youre analysis and debating skills are getting weaker with time. You used to be good.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostMarginalizing is certaiinly a rather white-washed way of putting it. Subjecting them to tyranny is quite a bit more than just marginalizing though. What am I being dishionest about? You even conceded that the Taliban engaged in heinous crimes against civilians in the 90's, which is what my point was regardiing why their "reacting to foreign interventiion" talk is invalid. Firdousi and I are saying more or less the same thing, which is why you pulled the Tajik card on him. The only thing he and I differ on is the idea the "Lesser of two evils" bit.
Taliban apologists are just getting frustrated that they can't pull the "Taliban are Heroes of Afghanistan that are just reacting against Foreign invasion" angle anymore. As if Taliban are Palestinians trying to push Israeli settlements off their land or something.
The 90's Taliban and their actions and todays insurgents actions are different explanations but you know this, you are being dishonest because you don't want to be wrong surrendering to your ego which explains your weak debating skills.
Also its not a Tajik card, its an explanation of his position.

The only real difference between 90's Taliban and current Taliban is One had a certain level of power Power and behaved in a way that people that abuse that level of power tend to do. And the other, lacks that power, but behaves in a way that people desperately trying to reclaim that power, would behave.
Using his ethnicity as an "explanation" is a "Tajik Card". How can you evaluate debate skills while so brazenly using circumstantial ad-hominem? lol
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

The key words there are people behavior. What came out of Afghanistan in the 90's was logical given circumstances at the time and what is happening today is also logical given what is happening there on the ground now. You are of the thinking that people should always behave like angels in those circumstances and all circumstances.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostThe only real difference between 90's Taliban and current Taliban is One had a certain level of power Power and behaved in a way that people that abuse that level of power tend to do. The explanation is valid. Why else are the Taliban so strong in Pashtun rural areas and not so in Tajik rural areas when both are similarly religious and conservative.[/B][/U]Using his ethnicity as an "explanation" is a "Tajik Card". Then you suggest people have to be angels to have basic sense of moral decency. lol
Why are Taliban popular in rural areas? Who says they are? the fact Taliban are more active in Pashtun regions has a more comprehensive explanatio; and that is because Pashtun areas are more accessible since the Pakistani ISI have a longer history of embdedding itself among Pashtuns due to their familiarity with Pashtun social framework which allows proxies to infilitrate weakpoints ....they can't do that as well with Tajiks. ...still not a "valid" explanation for employing the Tajik card.

This narrative was invented by Daud, which the commies continued and then Jamiet first used it against Hezbi and then later the whole NA including Hezbi started to use it against the Taliban which is continued by the current Afghan gov.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostBlaming ethnicity its a mentally lazy behavior. I do not think most of Tajiks rejected the Taliban because of their ethnic background. I mean there might be some ethnic bias but in general most of Tajiks I know were upset with the Taliban because they considered a Pakistani proxy occupation force that was selling the country piece by piece to Pakistan, was destroying Afghanistan´s future, oppressing women, literally blowing up our heritage and so on. Jamiat Islami really sold a "good" narrative by fooling most of Afghans into believe that Taliban were not even Afghans but Punjabis. That really helped to divert the domestic hatred for a foreign scapegoat. Only Hazaras and Uzbeks were upset at the Taliban because most of them were Pashtuns, but this kind of mentality was not widespread among Tajiks at all. I believe its also because Tajiks since most of them have an urban culture do not really have an ethnic pride so that helped.
Also it was an extremely weak narrative until recent, the reason for this is that Afghans for the first time are getting more exposed to media so brainwashing the public is becoming more accessible to a media monopoly where in the past the only media was the village Mullah. This also explains why Pashtuns in FATA are the only ones who don't follow the Paki narrative since the media monopoly there is also weak/inaccessible to brainwashing people compared to the rest of Pakistan where media monopoly has huge presence.Last edited by khushal; 11-07-2018, 02:43 PM.

Are you drunk? I said that is your thinking that people have to be angels all the time no matter what. If that was the case then we wouldn't need moral guidance or laws for that matter, we wouldn't need police or judges to enforce moral decency. You sound like those atheists who say I don't need the fear of God to be a good person. Well, you may not since you grew up in a pampered environment where everything is available but other people do and the evidence speaks for itself.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostFirst you say "was logical given circumstances at the time"
