Kushal and rest of folks... lets have a discussion... why do you guys think Afghanistan should accept Durand line?

ps: keep in mind what interest Afghanistan had in outpost like Moscow if it was not for Durand line.

What is Durrand Line? Its an international border recognized by Afghanistan de iure and de facto. Check out the 1919 agreement between king Amanullah and the British Crown. India and Pakistan inherited those agreements according to the legal principle of "state successions".

This Loy Afghanistan mantra is a dead horse that has destroyed our country. Pashtun nationalists should let it go. Especially fake Persianspeaker Pashtuns like you, Azmal jaan qandolakom

Because it's been a waste of time money and resources and emboldens Pakistan, we're not allowing Pakistan dissolution to take its course naturally.

and basically everything else Firdousi said. Our plan of action is rather than making a political tug of war with Pakistan, influence Pashtuns of Pakistan culturally and socially and then things will take care of themselves. If we had that plan years ago we'd be in a better position all around today.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

I've never said accept the Durand line, you just thought I did cause you dont read between the lines and just assume. I said Durand line is not a big deal neither to Afghanistan nor Pakistan. Until recently, people passed through the border freely like it did not exist and this freedom of movement benefited mostly Afghan Pashtuns. Thanks to Pashtun nationalists like you who would rather kiss Indian arse and work for Indian interests rather than your own people, this freedom of movement stopped and who is suffering, who are the main victims of Pakistan's border actions.

ps: keep in mind what interest Afghanistan had in outpost like Moscow if it was not for Durand line.
It is this policy that destroyed your country, your society completely in every way including morally to the point where the clergy had to take over to fix it from scratch.
For what? For Paki Pashtuns who don't even want to join you, never wanted to join you. Corrupt Paki Pashtun Elites use you as leverage against their political rivals in their country to get what they want. They don't care about you nor FATA PAshtuns who are their own citizens. Afghanistan and the people of FATA have been used as cannon fodder by Pakistan all thanks to Paki Pashtun Elites.

Look at the hypocrisy of Ghaffar Khan who preached and organized peaceful nonviolent protests against the Paki State while at the same time supported a very violent suppression of opposition to the Communist regime that killed 2 million Afghans, refuged 1/3 of the Afghan population.
Look at the hypocrisy of the current Pashtun savior, Imran Khan, who preaches "Jihad" in Afghanistan but says "Jihad is haram" in Pakistan.

But we've had this discussion before and your too stubborn or incapable to understand what Daud understood in his last days about Afghanistan's destructive policy of Pashtunistan.

Exactly. If they spent resources to create better trade, social, cultural bonds, then that marriage is extremely difficult to break. Look at China and the US. Even when they don't get along, they still can't break their trade bonds.

A few months ago you did Nanawati and ask for my forgiveness and yet you are back at it and let your emotions take over what is a critical national interest.

Really Mahmood? Do you even know that Pakistan proudly claim to be successor of British Raj for Afghanistan and Pashtun of FATA and continues since her incept to follow British Raj forward policy against us. You should google Ali Ponjah's speech to tribal elders, he clearly attest to this fact...that is pretty f-ing embolden.

Your stand is exactly that of Pakis, you even mention Hindus in order to discredit Afghanistan righteous demand. Seriously if you looking for Hindu then check your Baba Ali Ponjah.

Do you know why Pashtuns of Pakistan end up as "smugglers" Karkhano Bazar....and why the durrand line is being fenced? It is bc to protect the business interest of Punjab...you are either naïve or your personal interest is with Punjabi state.

What you call "critical national interest" I call "attempt to Pashtunize Afghanistan". There is no national interest at stake here. Just Pashtun nationalists now playing the patriot card.

Aint going to happen thanks God. And if its going to happen then I stand for partition.

Thank you for your "forgiveness" btw honey lol

Afghanistan is Pashtunized it is called Afghan-istan. Modern national states are born when dominated ethnic establish it's identity as state identity and dissolves the monitories in it's fold. I agree it is not fair or just but one main advantage is it creates political stability which for social, cultural and economical development is critical.
The question is why you want to let pressure off the enemy in this critical time just bc the other side is Pashtun? Even Amrullah Salah realize this fact.

And you're playing right into that, hence why this tension has made Pakistan more alert of "Nationalist" Pashtun sentiments. If we were stealthy and went the cultural and social influence route. They'd have basically nothing right now.

Now there are full generations of Pashtuns who have been indoctrinated and willing to die for Pakistan.

I am not stupid. Never said otherwise. We should use Durrand Line as a bargaining chip. But thats it. Loy Afghanistan should never come true.

Point regarding nation-states. Thats why they are a failure I guess. At least in the Islamic world.

                            LOL

How can you be a Pashtun Nationalist and not know what nanawatai means ...it doesn't mean begging for forgiveness. It means requesting refuge if someone is running away, like if a woman runs away from a bad marriage she is given nanawatai by the mashar of a tribe or village or home. It has nothing to do with forgiving someone or begging forgiveness

Way to expose yourself. This is exactly why people say Nationalists are far removed from the "Nation" they claim to represent.
