We Afghans have failed to do the same with our cruel kings.

Further, everything that the Afghan people do, they do it with the pride of Islam and Quran. It is a deception to get the laymen on the side of the powerful. Don't mess with the sacred things of Heaven for one will be disgraced. Our generation is as guilty.

Read the Quran and read how Allah deals with people. You will see a striking resemblance, my friend.

One thing I want to tell you, I bet you you don't love Afghanistan more than me. Yet, you will bet me that I don't love Afghanistan more than you. You will see this with ALL Pashtun. However, end of the day, one must things into perspective and understand how Allah works, if He is the God who has created us. If not, then it is a totally different ball game.

Shah Shuja was disgraced as well, Nadir Shah was shot by an Afghan student. So your point is..oh wait..mute at this point. You said we are liable for the faults of the generations before. If what you said held true, it would have applied to others. Now again you are bringing in Islam when it fits you and then you switch to ideas like using NATO to rebuild. Now how you reconcile the two to me sounds very contradictory.

MWMN, people did that before as well? Even colonialists did the same. Name me a society which hasn't used such justifications?

In terms of you claiming your love for Afghanistan. Good for you. I am not interested in contested that because that is what little kids do on the playground. I.e. my dad can kick your dad's butt. It is trivial. Allah is our creator, we can't understand Him anymore than what He has revealed to us (this applies to us muslims, who base our daleels on Qur'an and Sunnah). I already answered your last part, and I wish you applied it to your own ideas, clearly you didn't. Your own posts show that. Manana

My friend, the West have recompensed for the wrongs they have committed. At least by building the nations or lands they have colonized.

If you have the stamina, we can continue. But you have to understand that a lot is at play when it comes to political thought. Political thought is my specialty.

By the way, don't get me wrong: The West has paid for its share of misfortune. WWI, WWII??

Don't think that I don't see the bigger picture that you see. I do. I am just trying to tell you that it does not matter.

Here let me give you an example. Today, many Iranian youth from the Khomeini generation want to return Iran to pre-Islamic era. They are fed up with the Arabization of their history. Now is that a logical approach? Of course, not. But would they listen? Of course, not. Catch my drift?

Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

WW2 and WW1 were internal European issues and considering that their share is more (again I am using your logic). In terms of West recognizing their wrongs, well how sure are you of this? What do you base this on? Does the current trend of their policies show that? i.e. build a few buildings and then give Pak army billions of dollars. Hmmm sounds fishy no? I find that oversimplify things to try to prove your point. It is really built on some weak assumptions and premises, no?

Iranian youth if they choose a reactionary approach again is based on their own political wills and reality of that country. And it is rich they are against the arabization that they helped spread. Now this example still doesn't hold for us. Since we are not asking to go back to Mohammadzai times. We are asking for a re-unfication, not a return of what was in Abdali's time. This a fundamental difference.

As I said, when it comes to warfar, ALL IS FAIR GAME. Just don't use religion as a tool.

The US will face its fate very soon. Lately, they have been ranting about "May God Bless America" a lot. However, one thing that is saving them from a quick ill-fate is the fact that they give a lot of money in aid to poor nations and nations hit with natural disasters. But their lifelines are also running out.

              Give it time...they are next.

Pashtunistan should be the last of our worries for now. We have to first establish ourselves with whatever we have right now.

                It is still rewriting history.

Re-unification can happen, we don't a physical border for it. We just have to focus on bettering our societies.

Wait a minute..you brought religion into it. You just spent a number of posts justifying your stand on religion. And now you are pinning it on me lolzz. Oh come on man.

About US's demise, well here is the thing, it won't come crashing down for the reasons you mentioned, it has a lot to do with their economic situation and the eventual collapse of their dollar, Federal reserve policies, spending more than they earn, banking cartels overstepping their bounds (Thomas Jefferson warned them of this).

We can't establish ourselves without the necessary autonomy. Do you not see the relationship Pashtun/Afghans have vis a vis Pakistan? It is not a healthy one and we don't have the luxury to establish ourselves in that context. It is virtually impossible. Without a stable Pashtunkhwa, the stability of Afghanistan is out of question and vice versa. Don't you see these links? It is so clear.

Part of that entails changing our dynamic with Pakistan. As of now, it is not a functioning one and if they try to pull the stunt of the 90s, then it will only get worse. You have to factor in their security dilemma and what it costs us. We can't bare that cost anymore.

My friend, religion has been part of the doom. This has always been my stance. I have not just now introduced it. Re-read my posts, dear brother.

WWI and WWII were because of ecomonics. WWIII will be of a different type, it will include economics but will also include the fact that the West is using religion as a means colonize in the modern day. It is a war on Islam today.

Yes, I see what you are saying no doubt. But that is the flaw in the strategic thinking.

It will take a lot more time with that mentality.

This is where the Tribal Elders have to unify and use their influence on their people to call for calm.

The Pashtun have to come out of the grips of Saudi Arabia and the ISI. The Afghan Government have to put their friendship with India on hold for now.

If these two factors are not taken care of, then it looks very dim.

You just said don't bring religion into warfare, and now you are saying religion has been part of the doom. How so and elaborate because you are jumping boats. WW1 and WW2 were more than just economics. Really? I doubt religion is being used as a premise of colonization, when they have essentially eradicated it from their own societies or severely castrated it (sure a few bible thumpers here and there, but I doubt Cheney and Wolfowitz really care). WW3 has nothing to do with what we are talking about, unless you know some future that I don't.

Your last part didn't make a whole lot of sense.

You are confused. How can you be a Muslim and at the same time be a nationalist? Nationalism means think you and your kind is better than others. Look at Mussolini, Hitler, The National Front.

Pashtun Nationalists like to fool themselves into believing whatever they love is natural.

@MNMN! Stick to one point and try to prove it. By your pick and choose approach and your shallow study of Pashtun/afghan history you can't justify Pakistan's, (a British brainchild) case which itself has contradictory stands on many national and international issues.

I am arguing the same point: The Pashtun need to turn to God. They will not find comfort or success in any other avenue.

This is the thesis of my argument. Please keep this mind, anything else I say will not be changing the subject, it will be re-enforcing this point.
