After listening to some of his interviews I became convinced that the Hindkowans deserve their own province in the Hazara division. Pakistan desperately needs to divide up its large provinces into more numerous and manageable ones. Provinces should also be organized along ethno-linguistic lines. For example, the Pakhtun areas of northern Baluchistan, FATA, and Pakhtunkhwa could be amalgamated into a single province, or perhaps two provinces (North Pakhtunkhwa and South Pakhtunkhwa). The Punjab should be divided into at least three provinces, including a Saraiki province in the south which would include Dera Ismail Khan and have Multan as its capital. Sindh should be divided to create a province for the Urdu-speaking people based in Karachi and Hyderabad. If a Hazarewal province is too small, perhaps it can be amalgamated with a province carved out of northern Punjab where the Pahari/Potwari dialect of Punjabi is spoken based in Attock or with Rawalpindi as its capital, and also including Chitral and Kohistan and all other predominantly non-Pakhtun areas of north and northwest NWFP.

At present, 25% of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is non-Pakhtun, including 18% Hindkowans. Dera Ismail Khan district is predominantly Saraiki but strangely part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa instead of Punjab. The provinces definitely have to be redrawn.
I dont think that punjabi elite will allow us to drow map of our provinces based on ethinic lines, they are very sensitive about ethinic pride in Iranic people like Pashtun and baloch.

Hindhowkhans should be given their own province and fata should be added to KPK.

Yes provided it only entails hindko areas and not other areas... Hazaa is hindko movement so let them have their majority tehsils.

Other non-Pakhtun communities should also be asked whether they want to remain with Peshawar or join the new province. I suspect they will select the latter option. Therefore, Chitral will also be part of the new province.

Dera Ismail Khan should be returned to Punjab, and in the future be part of a Saraiki province.

You want to take away like half of KP and yet you claim you don't hate Pashtuns and aren't an Indic/Punjabi nationalist.

What are you talking about? This call for division of the province only gained momentum because of Pakhtun nationalism which needlessly and stupidly changed the name of the province to reflect ethnic nationalism of Pakhtuns.

The concern of non-Pakhtuns in that province is genuine that once the foundation for an ethnic province is laid they will end up getting the short end of the stick.

the Pakhtun areas of the province will be joined with the FATA, so any territory lost will be amply compensated for. The territory that will become part of the new province will be non-Pakhtun majority areas so what are you talking about?

I am the most anti-nationalist person you can imagine and therefore resent your insinuation against me

Punjabis had their Punjab, Sindhis had their Sindh and balochis had their balochistan. Why was it a bad thing when Pashtuns requested a name change after 7 decades? Didn’t they deserve it after so many sacrifices they had to give since the creation of Pakistan?

Pashtuns of Pakistan has been used and then dropped many times by Pakistan.
The image/reputation of Pashtuns in Pakistan since the partition changed many times with the agenda/geopolitics of Pakistani government. So a name change was the slightest thing to compensate for the points mentioned above.

I’m not Pashtun or a Pakistani and I’ve got no emotionally bond to pashtunkhwa or Pakistan but I’m saying this as an objective observer.

Hindkowan is just a sub-group of Punjabis, their areas (Haripur, Abbottabad and part of Mansehra) should be added to the Punjab province.......they dont deserve a separate province. They are also politically Punjabis, they overwhelmingly support Pakistan Muslim League which is a punjabist party.

Its to be noted that Hazara subah movement has had no support in Pashtun areas of Hazara (Ogi Tehsil of Mansehra, Torghar, Sirikot of Haripur) and Kohistaan (which comprise of half of the area of Hazara division)...It was/is actually a Hindko (indic) movement.

He's said some other mildly psychopathic stuff on here. He thinks he owns the Kalash, that he can "trade" them off like they're horses. The Kalash don't have any autonomy, they exist to be traded apparently.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

You won’t be able to tell the difference between a Hindkai/Seraiki speaker and a Punjabi outside of Pakistan. They resemble Punjabis and their language is extremely closely related to Punjabi. Yet outside of Pakistan they all claim to be “Pathans”.

Anyone who thinks these are separate languages hasn’t got a clue about anything.

Dude also claimed to get Kashf and Ilham.

And yet his blog has been around for years so it's hard to imagine him just being a bored troll. Nope, he actually believes this stuff.

The problem is why are Pakhtuns thinking of themselves as Pakhtuns? Why is it necessary to promote this narrow ethnic identity? Why not simply be Muslims and work for Pakistan as an Islamic state? No Pakhtun, No Punjabi, No Sindhi, No Baluch...only Muslims. Provinces were based on historical continuity, but now additional provinces are needed for better administration.
