It's obvious to me you haven't picked up this racist attitude by living in America, rather, it is something inherited from your Afghan culture which unfortunately you have imported this attitude into your new home where people despise racists
I could care less, Unlike Indic people, I have a modicum of self respect and don't live to please farangiyan. Apparently you do, which I have come to find is a stereotypical Indic trait, regardless of whether they're Hindu, Muslim or Sikh, you guys jump leaps and bounds to bootlick every Westerner. This is why I have a hard time taking Indic people seriously when they try to act religious. We had a member here once who was Bangladeshi, his screen name was "Bengal_Tiger" and he would claimed that he had Pashtun ancestry from some unsubstantiable span of time in history. Much like you, he would try REALLY hard to persuade people here that he was a Pious, Honorable Muslim that cared about Islam. We eventually found out his real name and some of us Googled it and found he had a Twitter Page which featured Pornographic links and such. So as for the piety bit, it has everything to do with piety, pious people don't talk certain ways that you do talk. I mean I get you try to put on the veneer of "civility" but occassionally you slip, which says you're still controlled by the nafs. So there's no way you can know who has Noor or not.

So you can cry racism as a shield all you want, you aren't fooling anyone here, Just yourself.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Not at all, he's reciting the Qur'aan and reciting Wa'iz in a beautiful voice, as per the Sunna. A lot of non-Muslims say likewise that when we recite the Qur'aan it sounds like we are "singing" it, but that's because they don't know better.

I never knew you sing Urdu words when you recite Qur'an, or mumbling jibberish in Urdu was sunnah. Another reason we need to distance ourselves from Indic versions of Islam.

It's not Urdu. He recited Quraan in Arabic. You call it singing, but Quraan is suppose to be recited like this, in a beautiful voice.

Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

          زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ

Beautify the Quraan with your voices

Nope, just checked, he's mumbling Urdu jibberish in there too while he's singing. Yeah BEAUTIFY not sing Qawwali, Now don't get me wrong, Nothing wrong with Qawwali, but don't claim you're following the sunnah while doing it, it's a mub'ah expression of spiritual enrichment, not wazifa.

Please stop trying to justify this ....you're a fake.

وعظ (Wa'z) or موعظة (Maw'izah) means preaching. A واعظ (Waa'iz) is a preacher.

in Arabic they use wa'iz as a name for someone that speaks to a congregation, kind of like a khatib, but this guy doesn't give a speech, he comments and tells stories.

Urduwals use it in a different way though

First of all, it's Punjabi/Saraiki not Urdu. Secondly, it isn't Qawwali. Qawwali is a type of music with musical instruments like harmonium, drums, etc.

It is Sunna to preach Quraan in a melodious voice and to preach with Jalaal.

The stuff he's saying that sounds Indic isn't apart of the Qu'ran, please STFU

What's up with your preoccupation with looks? Looks are from Allah (Subhana wa Taala), whether Muslim or kafir. If that dude was Muslim he'd still look like a hairy Indic; he wouldn't become beautiful all of a sudden.

For someone who pretends to be all about Islam, you act incredibly superficial. Maybe if you had any actual experience with relgiious folk, you'd realize lots of them are ugly, just like lots of evil people are beautiful.

No he's singing it, which is highly inappropriate. He's completely ignoring the rules of tajweed, and his pronunciation is awful. I only made it 3 minutes in, but I already heard him making random pauses to catch his breath because he incorrectly elongated certain vowels (and for too long), and completely mispronounce words (like "كياما" instead of "قيامة").

It's one thing to beautify your voice when reciting Quran and to read it melodiously, it's an altogether different thing to intersperse verses of it in a song you're singing, which is what this person is doing. If he read a prayer like that, I, and probably most other Muslims, would walk out because it's disrespectful.

So not sure why you thought showing us this person's picture and this video was a good idea. I have no idea who he is, but that video was a very poor first impression, and the fact that you're endorsing him makes me question if he's a Qadiani. He might very well be a decent, pious individual, but the way you paraded pictures of what is a normal looking person around as if he were some kind of beacon of Noor, and then showed us this video where he recites Quran incorrectly and inappropriately, will have soured all our perceptions of this person.

As you can see I look like a Pathan but I am Punjabi and Hyderabadi. I am mistaken for being Pathan because of my appearance and style of dress, but that is because I belong to the Panjpiri / Mamati maslak.
