Pakistan moving towards a failed state? Now, WEF report states that it is the 4th most unsafe country in world - The Financial Express

Pakistan on Friday was declared the 4th most unsafe country in the world. According to the ‘Global Travel and Terrorism Report’, by the World Economic Forum, Pakistan takes the 4th lead in the list of the most unsafe countries in the world, following only Nigeria, Columbia, Yemen. The report ranked countries in the terms of ‘Safety and Security’, gave Pakistan, a score of 3.04. Meanwhile, Finland has been declared the safest country in the world with a high score of 6.7.

The report also concluded that the most of the safest countries in the world were from Europe. India meanwhile comes down at the 11th most unsafe countries in the world. Meanwhile, the bottom of the list was dominated by countries from Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle east. Following the Uri terror attack, India has been trying to isolate Pakistan on a global level for harbouring terrorism on its soil. India had earlier conducted surgical strikes across the LoC, eliminating a significant number of terrorists in the PoK.

Meanwhile, the US and Russia, among other around the world have been cornering Pakistan about its terror problem. Even elected members of the Pakistani Parliament have condemned the Pakistani government and said that the country may be accountable for its armed forces but has in no way taken any responsibilities of the “non-state actors”. With the world slowly but surely isolating Pakistan, and now the WEF reports showing it as the 4th unsafest country on Earth, it has to be wondered if the infamous neighbours are inching towards becoming a failed state.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Really I am trying to support friendship and integration between Afghanistan and Pakistan.. but then I remember how st*pid Pakis are and that makes me regret my feelings. So screw them. Well done. We brought Pakistan down.

Well actually Pakistan brought itself down; they're like Wiley Coyote who thinks that putting dynamite on the edge of a cliff will kill the road runner, but they end up blowing up the very edge they're standing on plummeting to their death instead.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

You're not protecting or promoting anything except Fasada when your own Nationalists are anxious to have Strip Bars, Clubs and Bars to thrive in your country,

Here have a read of what your fellow nationalists are saying.

Well your comrade "Pakistan" is also citing Indian websites that appear to have flattering headlines. So cherry-picking when it's acceptable or unacceptable to use Indian sites indicates what I was saying before, the Pakistani Nationalist narrative is rooted more in confirmation bias and intellectual dishonesty than reality. Objectivity depends on having a panoramic vantage point. Not just siphoning headlines that may appear flattering, but also accepting and acknowledging headlines which hghlight shortcomings.

Today I was reading interview of Pakistani of parsi origin, he has been ambassador more then any other diplomat and at 94 years old has seen making of Pakistan. You can read full interview in the link.

"Syed Jaffar Ahmed. A number of books have come out in the last 15 years or so that talk about Pakistan as a failed or failing state. After such a long and rich experience of living in Pakistan, how do you see its future?

Jamsheed Marker. During the creation of Pakistan, there were doubts whether the state would come into existence at all. I remember a party one evening at New Delhi Club where a group of people – Hindus, Muslims and Europeans – were arguing fiercely and plenty of whiskey was flowing around. This was sometime in July 1947. The subject was ‘how long Pakistan will last — six months or six years’. I heard [someone] saying, ‘They will come back begging to us within three months, asking us to take them back.’ Now that was the attitude of a lot of people. We had nothing. When I say nothing I mean minus, zero. It was just the iron will of this man [Muhammed Ali Jinnah] who really put this country out. He said, ‘There is no need to get scared; we will survive.’

From Delhi, I came to Karachi. As I was driving [from the airport to the Cantt railway station], I saw those refugee camps. People in them were all bloodied. They had been through riots. They had no clothes or anything, just small broken-up suitcases. [But] you heard them shouting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ from each refugee camp. The situation was such where you couldn’t be happy. You’d see children in their bloodied clothes crying and mothers on the roads yelling. But those people had unbelievable passion — all because of this one man. They were determined to survive any situation."

Indians were furious we managed to secure the Americans first: Jamsheed Marker - People & Society - Herald

Pakistan isn't going down without a fight. Expect Afghanistan, India and Israel to be wiped of the map if we have to go down as well.

Pakistan and Israel are alike as they were both formed directly by the British policy makers. So it's ironic that the Pakistani Establishment attempts at creating this phantasm about Israel, when Pakistan and Israel share in being manufactured from the corrupt enterprise of Farangay colonialism.

Nukes plus we have a large military that is battle hardened due to the war we fought against the terrorists in our country since ten years or so. Our military training is of a high standard too. Last but not the least, we have a large population which can be useful in time of war if they are armed and militias be formed.

You are forgetting Pakistan Airforce . Apart from maybe Turkey how many other Muslim Airforces can match our Fighter pilots ? PAF's performance in 65 , 71 and Israel / Arab wars have been nothing short of amazing . Today 60 % of JF-17 is made inside Pakistan and we are exporting them to Nigeria and Myanmmar .
