So after being called out for your blatant false equivalence, you're using some vague reasoning to "default" went from quoting a legitimate site to a word press blog and a Sinhala Nationalist wesbite. The last one says that India funded Tamils after they were being pesecuted, Ok, India funded Bengalis after they were persecuted by Pakistan too, not terrorism.

    Fail.

It's clear Iblis is just trolling at this point, no point in engaging with trolls. Denying India involvement in terrorism is like saying sky is green.

If what India did in Sri Lanka isn't terrorism then what Pakistan did in Afghanistan isn't either.

Tell me the difference between rebels and tigers ? LTTE was regarded as a terrorist organisation around the world . It was blacklisted in Asia , Europe and USA .
Logic goes out of the door when you argue with afghan in the first place .

ven the Third link that Pakistan posted indicate this. The Indian support to Tamils came after the persecution of Tamils. To several Tamil groups. which was in the first link Pakistan posted, and some of them formed LTTE that later went and started doing terrorism and even assasinated Indian politicians for cutting off ties after they were doing terrorism.

Which means what? Yep, that India was supporting people looking for freedom, not the terrorist activities. Much different than Palkistan that has terrorism as apart of their strategy. Once again false equivalence.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Do you NOT read your own links?

Do me favor, read the first LINK you posted.......then come back to this. Less time GOOGLINg more time READING might help. Did you cheat your way into graduate school , forge your credentials? How do you not know how to do basic things like this?

Anyways do that and get back to this.

There is no difference . LTTE was listed as a terrorist organization around the world . And in return I would advise you to google more instead of arguing just for the sake of it .

Sending in ground troops / commandos will cause diplomatic complications, because it is considered a greater breach of sovereignty than artillery strikes.
I don't think Pak will do that.
I meant that in case the situation requires , then from a military point of view , Pakistani special forces can carry out operations to target TTP and co in the border regions of Nangarhar,Kunar etc.

Just like Pakistan resorted to artillery strikes recently , so if they are pushed that far ( which I repeat is unlikely) , then who knows we may have Pakistani commandos descending upon TTP bases in Afg.

                  There's a HUGE difference.

From the first link you posted.

Indira Gandhi helped train Tamil rebels, and reaped whirlwind

KP also says that the LTTE’s ties with India started souring around the time Rajiv Gandhi came into the picture. “He (Rajiv) was a modern leader and he was very fast (with decisions). His approach was different. By then RAW (Indian spy agency Research & Analysis Wing) was heavily involved with all the Tamil groups. It was at that time that a misunderstanding between Prabhakaran and RAW started.”

In an exclusive interview to VK Shashikumar of Mediagrove, LTTE leader Kumaran Pathmanathan (“KP”), who is now in Sri Lankan custody, says that India started training the Tamil rebels in the early 1980s around the time when peace talks were floundering
Now more detail and context of what you just read.

                  Peace that the LTTE spurned

The second attempt at reaching a peaceful settlement to the conflict began with India's active intervention.

This resulted in the signing of the Indo-Lanka Peace Accord by the then Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sri Lankan President Junius Jayewardene. Under Indian pressure, Prabhakaran endorsed the accord and agreed to lay down arms and accept the devolution of power on a provincial basis.
After a symbolic laying down of arms, the LTTE soon began battling the Indian army. More than 1,500 Indian troops were killed and they left the country soon after President R. Premadasa was elected to office in December, 1988.
However in this instance, too, the Tigers after having acquired a large stock of weapons from the Premadasa regime to fight the Indian-installed TNA, the LTTE resumed its attacks on the military. Premadasa was assassinated by a suicide bomber on May 1, 1993.
So no they weren't there to do terrorism, but help the Tamils, they clearly did not realize the LTTE had other intentions.

Two completely different scenarios. Like I said false equivalence.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Obviously Srilankan president thought otherwise . See the link . They trained them for the exact purpose of terrorism . Instead of waiting for others to post links you should be reading things on your own to get a better idea of things before getting into a debate .

Well obvuously Sinhalese would be against the intervention of India. But if they were there to do terrorism, they wouldn't broker a peace deal ensuring rights of Tamils

Not a terrorist thing to do ........Pakistan on the other hand, by your OWN admission revels in murdering civiliams just for its own power

This is something you admit ....India when it comes to war show better Islamic morals than Pakistan, the self proclaimed "Fortress of Islam" that must hurt.

LTTE is a terrorist organization WORLDWIDE .

In Sri Lanka: Explaining the Tamil Tigers | The Huffington Post

The Tamil Tigers (LTTE) are considered a terrorist organization by 32 countries. Their soldiers wore cyanide vials for consumption upon capture.

They invented the suicide belt and pioneered the use of suicide bombing as a tactic.

They also pioneered the use of women in suicide attacks and forcibly kidnapped and inducted child soldiers. Over 5,000 child soldiers have been reported.

According to Jane’s Information Group, between 1980 and 2000 the LTTE carried out 168 suicide attacks causing heavy damage on economic and military targets.

No I never said that . I said Pakistan supported Taliban for its strategic reasons .

Yeah I am sure The thousands of Kashmiri live's lost agree with you . 6 Protesters were killed today .

Pakistan, the self proclaimed "Fortress of Islam

I can counter this with thousands of examples but i will leave you with a photo and an article .

Asia's quiet superpower: Pakistan Army’s teetering balance between Saudi and Iran | Middle East Eye

When one thinks of the Pakistan Army, one does not instinctively think of a force that is relevant to conflicts in the Middle East. Yet increasingly – and without actually being involved in any operations - it is the most influential military in the region. It has trained more Arab armies than any other country and has been present both in a combat role in the Arab-Israeli wars in 1967 and 1973 and also provided mentorship as the Gulf countries' armies were founded.

After the fall of Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi army, and Iran’s rising influence across the Middle East, the Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia, have looked to Pakistan as the final guarantor. When the current Pakistan Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa recently stated that Pakistan views Saudi Arabia’s protection as its own, it was seen as an indirect warning to Iran and the terrorist groups threatening Saudi Arabia. And who will lead the "Islamic NATO", a new Saudi-led, terrorist-fighting military alliance? None other than Pakistan’s General Raheel Sharif

At this moment, there are 158 Saudi military cadets in the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbottabad, a record of any overseas force in any military academy in the world. There is also another historic first for the Pakistan Army: it has become the first Muslim country to have a permanent instructor at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. The instructor, Major Uqbah Malik, is a platoon commander with several Arab cadets under his command along with British cadets.

For the last two years, the chief guests at the Pakistan Air Force’s Academy in Risalpur have been the head of the Iraqi and Saudi defence forces. There were a dozen Iraqi cadets last year and more this year.
Similarly in Damascus, Pakistan sent one of its top air force generals as ambassador to smooth tensions and act as a back-door mediator between Saudi Arabia and Syria.

                        Iran-Saudi mediator?

Along with its vast military resources, deployed over the last decades to fight on behalf of various Arab states and its role as the largest trainer of Arab armies, Pakistan’s role as a peace maker between several warring capitals has been crucial.

In fact, the UN Centre of Excellence on COIN and peacekeeping is in Islamabad, where the Pakistan army trains other armies from around the world on how to do conflict resolution in war time
.Two decades ago, Pakistan’s army played a leading role in mediating an end to the Iraq-Iran war, something the late Iranian president Rafsanjani specifically appreciated.

That is just the military Importance and I haven't even touched nukes and countless of other aspects .

Yes NOW they are, which even India lists as a terrorist organization; this is not the same as what we're discussing Where India supported them under the belief they were freedom fighters and just wanted their rights. Then after started assasinating civilians and other rebel groups wanting peace.

HUGE difference from Terrorism Pakistan does, nudging and urging extremists to fight against a peace process that doesn't serve Pakistan's power dynamic. In fact I will say India are exonerated since they did so out of good will and stopped once realizing what this group does. Pakistan on the oither hand ...kept going exactly with that in mind....Real terrorism.
