There is a huge crackdown on child sex abuse here in the U.K. at the moment. Some of the names coming to light are frightening as it appears that a lot of high profile celebrities have been involved in this for many years. It really is the tip of the iceberg and it is frightening.

It is prevalent globally but morghuds like Karachi are trying to pass it off as Pashtun culture out of pure jealousy for not being born from a Pashtun father. It is worldwide, rampant, and disgusting.

Ironically anyone here heard of the story of how Mullah Omar went to war in the beginning with a few commanders who tried to or did molest two boys? Anyone know how true it is?

It is viewed as a major crime in our parts. Reserved for the lowest of the low.

A small just to demonstrate the gravity of such actions....

A very young teenage cousin of my uncles back in the day sensed unclean intentions from a certain individual in our kalay. In response to the unwanted advances the young teenager was told by his mother and mamagaan "werka guzaar". He followed those instructions and stabbed and killed the said individual.

The teenage boy at the time is now a mature man over 60 and is still alive in our kalay. Everybody still remembers this.

Bacha bazi is not Pashtun culture. Just because some sick individuals partake in this filth doesn't make it a Pashtun thing. Majority of people would respond in a similar way when faced with this kind of disgusting practice.

The rise of Taliban in Kandahar in 1994 was primarily due to prevelance of crimes including rape and bacha bazi. The version I heard was that one warlord had raped some girls and shaved off their heads.Thats when the Taliban attacked his stronghold and killed him and started their movement.

this logic of anti-Afghans on this forum that bachi baazi/pedophilia is only something occuring in Afghanistan is utterly flawed...it seems more rampant only because Afghanistan has a weak government, and no efficient police system to enforce its laws on those individuals who parttake in this subhuman activity.

Is anyone here really stupid enough to think any sensible parent would allow his own child to get sexually abused?

Most people in Afghanistan don't approve of it, but its the job of the government and an efficient police system to ensure it doesn't exist...

there are bad apples everwhere.
West is full of those disgusting creature, I know this becuase I live here in Belgium. Disgusting things happen also here, the only diffrence is that the west is rich and has money and people to catch them. In Afghanistan we have war, poverty and high corruption, what makes for sexual predators easy to do the nasty stuff, but anyhow majority still condemns those things and will never say its ok, unlike what this ex-drug addict makes it out to be.

fairy tails. I bet you also belive a whole mountain schaked when the north-Korean leader was born? Do you?

Taliban were traind in porkiland, came in to Afghanistan when there was a vacuum of power and the retarded mudjhahidins fought with each other. So provided with funds and intel from pakis they took power easilly.
During taliban time sexual abuse of minors still took place, there was just no media to cover it.

In rural areas there was hardly any taliban law at all.

The story about the rise of Taliban that I mentioned is a 'story' , and may not be true.
I however believe that the Taliban movement was started on the initiative of a group of men who then became the movement's leaders(Mullah Omar,Zaeef etc). And that Pakistan did not have any role in creating them.
What is true is that Pakistan did start supporting them with weapons, funds and other means when they realized that the Taliban were potential allies and after the Taliban had seized control of Kandahar towards the end of '94.
Pakistan then sent madrassa students to fight on the side of the Taliban against the other Mujahideen, and then Northern Alliance.
During Taliban rule , many crimes ,including child sexual abuse must have taken place , no government is 100% effective in enforcing laws.I am not denying that. What must be admitted though is that the Taliban did reduce the crime rate by a large margin. It is understandable that Taliban laws might not have been enforced in the rural areas because they did not have that much manpower.

Lastly , Khostai , did you live in Afghanistan during the civil war and Taliban era?

I think many people are assuming this thing about Taliban after reading the novel Kite runner. Taliban actually stopped rapes including that of minor boys. And because of their harshness, Afghanistan witnessed peace and restoration of law and order after long time. The best thing they did was de-weaponizing Afghanistan, only their men were carrying guns. In our Pashtun society men are killed for trivial and petty reasons, and without topak ,violence and murders were dramatically reduced in Afghanistan. But other than policing , they knew nothing about running the government....they were madrassa bigots and were showing no sign of further improvements and flexibility.

The so called liberals and seculars with anti-islam streak, have fabricated many lies about Taliban in their zeal to convince people that Taliban were/are absolute evil........if they were honest and truthful, they would have been more convincing.

Afghans hate Pakistan and Pakistanis, but love India. Most of the little ex patriot Afghans on this forum even protest love for India and call Pakistanis 'cucks', ect ect.

But let's get this straight:
Indian Brigadier raped Afghan girl in kabul """"""""""" - YouTube

They allow Indian Hindus in their nation and allow them to rape their females. The only punishment this Indian got was to be sent back to his country while taking Afghan larki ki izzat.

Hindu Indian Army Man Betrays and Shames Afghan Woman (Wake up Afghans) - YouTube

Pashtana from Afghanistan is married to a Hindu. With full approval from all Afghans.

So it makes me laugh to see these westernized Afghans trying to make fun of Pakistanis that have never even visited their own country. I mean ****, you guys like to act like a cohesive skin head Afghan factory in some cases, but fail to acknowledge your own shame.

You guys do all of this just to hate Pakistan. But you should look at yourselves. You love to take Indian dosa up the anus, but fail to see how these Hindus treated your women even though you laid them out on a golden Afghan platter for India. LOL

I have not read this novel you are talking about.
I agree that Taliban greatly reduced rape and other crimes including bacha bazi during the time they were in power.
The so called liberals have fabricated many lies about them and potrayed them as cruel and 'monsters' whereas in reality the human rights violations that occurred before the taliban came to power by Massoud,Dostum and co and even before that by Dr Najib were terrible.

Edit: I edited this because I did not read your post carefully hence misunderstood.

80% is rural erea, not having law in rural areas means 80% of the country was lawless. Making the whole country in to a hell hole and not making any coverage of it is not reducing any crime. A lot of criminal activity happend, people lived in darkness and only the ones who had to endure it knew what happend. Of course people taught that crime reduced during their reign becuase they just stoped the infighting of the mudjahids, but only a stop of infighting does not mean a reduction in criminal activity.

The sexual abuse still happend they could not solve the raping of girls so they just put them all at home, closed all girls school and only allowed them to go outside if a male relative was with them....Yes such a safe society, where a women can not even buy bread for the house without being molested. So she had to have male protection 24/7 -_-
