If ours is an offshoot of Persian, yours is that of Arabic. Your texts changed first. You suffered 200 years of silence. There is more Arabic in Farsi than there is in Urdu/Hindi.

We're not that confused mate lol
Shut up. Stop lying. Indostan was islamized by several Persian and Persianized Turkic dynasties such as Ghaznawids, Ghorids, Moguls, and so on.

Arabic has influenced Persian. Thats a fact. But no Afghan will ever claim to be Arabs. Actually Arabs are called "tazi" and "chelpasekhor" (lizard eater). Its only you Pakis you refuse to acknowledge your Indian identity. Please stop with the self hating.

Despite Islamisation Hindi still exists without high levels of Arabic and 'Parsi', but your 'Farsi' can't even be pronounced the same way as it's really supposed to. End of the day, 500 years of Turko-Mongol rule couldn't change us like it did the entire Persian peninsula. That's why you're so jealous of us lol

No.... no one's jealous of you. But rather, your kind wallows in self-hate and a general air of disillusionment pervades your country. Pakistan has no history nor does it have a foreseeable future. Pakistanis claim to be everything .... from "iranians" to turks and yet others claim arabic ancestry. But you are what you are.... and thats a thoroughly demoralised, piteous ragtag of peoples descended from every ethnic group under the sun, apparently.

Really? Tell me more about how Afghan refugees are so happy to go back to their own crappy land than stay in Pakistan where their livelihood is promised to them.

Pakistan has no history nor does it have a foreseeable future.
According to whom? Pakistan, as reiterated by the likes of M J Akbar and Christine Fair, is a 'stable instability' meaning it will never 'break up'. Certainly if it did it wouldn't break into the borders that the Pashtun nationalists or Baloch nationalists would like to see.

Pakistanis claim to be everything .... from "iranians" to turks and yet others claim arabic ancestry.
Mmm. Not all true. Some of them do, some of them don't.

Well sure as hell, a lot of the groups in Pakistan were Indo-Aryans influenced by Iranian or "Persian" culture. That we don't deny. However, despite many attempts to subdue Indic Punjabis and Sindhis. The Punjabi and Sindhi languages live. Urdu by that extension is a language that a lot of Afghans know and learn more and more. Far less Indians/Pakis that know Pashto or Farsi by the same measure. Also, 500 years of foreign Muslim rule could not eliminate our languages. The old inhabitants of the north of Afghanistan spoke old Iranian languages like Sogdian and Bactrian. How many of them speak these languages now? They've been completely robbed of their ethno-linguistic identity and today claim to be 'Persians'. That ethnic shift was a serious genocide committed by one Iranian group over another, that's why Afghanistan is 'Persianate' state. When 'Persian' itself historically refers to people from Pars.

Good for you, if you feel being 'Afghan' means speaking Dari, when Afghan means Pashtun and Pashto language, and that's your fantastic identity. Please, go ahead. I think it's pathetic that a dumb race like Afghans should even have the privilege of thinking they have an identity.
