Whats there to envy Pakiland? You guys have nothing...its a joke you call Pakiland a regional Power, when your country is getting orders from USA and your president ordered around like a dog....and the fact that you prioritize nuclear bombs over cleaning the garbagefilled toilet you consider country shows how dumb you people really are....its really no Wonder a few 100 British managed to enslave and rule your kind for 400 years...
same british also "enslaved" and ruled 70%+ Afghans aka (Baluchistan and KPK) Baluchis and Pashtuns. that's why there are more Pashtuns and Baluchis in Pakistan than Afghanistan.

Think twice before you Mock Other South Asians, you indirectly Moked your Ancestors.

British never colonized Afghanistan, even Loy Afghanistan (Baluchistan, KPK)...Afghanistan never enslaved...these people rather die than accept slavery...Ghairat is in the blood. These areas were lost due to stupid leadership/decisions.

There are more Pashtuns and Baluch in Pakilan because they have considerably raised their population numbers to have a chance against east pakis who breed uncontrolably.

      Anyway

my point was the Guy should not boast about his country being "regional superpower" and "next big thing" LOL, when its barely clean anywhere...

bro, you know before 18th century Freedom struggle, mostly Rajputs, Muslims and Brahmins filled ranks of British Indian Armies (ex. Mangal Panday, a brahmin of BIA who started Struggle). but after that British invented Martial Race theory and slowly kicked us out and accepted Jatts, Sikhs, Punjabi Muslims, Pashtuns and Balouchis based on their loyalty. even in world wars, it was mostly Punjabis and Pashtuns who fought for british empire and died for Empire.

Yes friend, a lot of Pashtuns did serve in the British army. Some are even today proud that their grandfathers or fathers did so. LOL

I think the only ones that didn't serve were the independent upper hill Mohmands. I've also read somewhere that they did try and enlist Mahsuds and Wazirs, but they abruptly stopped doing that after a short while.

Afganistan loves or hates Pakistan , now it doesn't really matter.
Its now modern time so both country especially afganistan should take care of its poeple and the standard of their lives.
Now afganistan should rehabilitate its citizens , forget about other states.
Afganistan should take all of its citizens away from pakistan in order to give them a new vision of life.

According to Indian history; this was a real event. LOL

But there were actually Pashtuns in the British army; there was a case of Pashtun soldiers being sent to Egypt, but they refused to attack on Egyptians because they were Muslims.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

I thought Brahmins were supposed to be "bodhi". You're comparing population dynamics of 1850 to population of 2017.

Afghans should first build Afghanistan before they start having dreams of a bigger Afghanistan.

Afghanistan right now is a mess...Not many want to be part of it...people want to be where the money is...the money is not in Afghanistan.

Of course when Afghanistan manage to surpass Pakistan in every field, be IT ecconomy, education, human rights, etc. then Perhaps Afghanistan can lure Baluch and Pashtuns on the other side into a Greater Afghanistan but as it is currently, unlikely.

So for those who were waiting for some sources, here the links of some websites which highlight the main reasons of all Mujahideen Hezbs not co-operating with each other and Afghan communists:

In early 1993, Hekmatyar accepted another offer by Rabbani to become the prime minister. But he never personally joined the government, and instead sent Ustad Farid from Kapisa to Kabul as his prime minister. This alliance lasted only several months, and in January 1994 he resumed rocket attacks on the capital from his base in Chahar-Asyab district of Kabul. The ISI is alleged to have backed Hekmatyar to topple Tajik-dominated government in Kabul. Hekmatyar also co-operated with the ISI in training foreign volunteers to fight in the Indian-held Kashmir in the early 1990s. Hekmatyar’s failure to succeed against Ahmad Shah Massoud’s forces controlling Kabul led to a decline of support for him from Pakistan. The Pakistani government is reported to have abandoned Hekmatyar in 1994 and shifted support to the Taliban. After the Taliban seized Kabul in 1996, many of the Hizb-i-Islami commanders fighting under Hekmatyar either joined the Taliban or fled to Pakistan. HIG’s training camps in Pakistan were “taken over by the Taliban and handed over" to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), a radical Islamic party in Pakistan

Here's a video of Massoud trying to pursuade Hekmatyar to join forces with fellow Mujahideen and Afghan communists, which Hekmatyar (the only Pakistani ally at the time) refused and started his rocket attacks on Kabul. The fact Pakistani government supported a person who was the main reason of collapse of the Mujahideen Hezbs was starting factor of general Afghans' attitude towards Pakistan as a nation:

This incident is more detailed in a book by Stephen Tanner called 'Afghanistan' and another book by Jeanne Giraldo 'Terrorism Financing and State Responses'. There are about two similar notes written by a couple of French journalists whilst on their journey in Afghanistan in early to mid '90's.

Those two books also mentioned Pakistani governments' role in training Pakistani Taliban and sending them up North trying to capture Northern Afghanistan. They fail in Panjsher and Parwan, below is a video of few them caught by Massoud in Panjsher alone:

Pakistani Taliban fighters captured in Panjsher province

Here's a Pakistani link about Pakistani Taliban captured in Panjsher, which was quiet small compared to those captured (and many of whom killed) in Balkh and up North by Fahim and Dostum.

These are the links involving Massoud and his clashes with Pakistan backed militia, but these are the main reasons of hostility between both nations. And just for the record, I am NOT sharing these videos and links in order to blame entire chaos on Pakistan and nor am I trying to argue anything to do with Loy Afghanistan as such. I am merely posting these because A, the thread maker wanted reasons for hostile attitude of Afghanistan's general public. B, to show regardless of what Pakistani people's intentions were, the government of Pakistan's intention was far from positive which is being proven by the regimes they back in Kabul. And most importantly, C, to proof that our relations have got NOTHING to do with Jew or Hindu propaganda against Pakistan: something Pakistanis very popularly believe and are convinced that India is between the hatred against Pakistan.

Well i appreciate your efforts to come up with a links with some background..I only disagree as to why Afghanistan hate pakistan..
                          1) Pakistan was kid in 1947 when afghanistan did not accept us.

                          2) Pakistan was weak but strong enough to repel afghans incursion in baur and other tribal areas of Pakistan..Again this was long before Muhajiding era

                          3) Incitement of Paktunistan and KHADD involvement in Pakistan of terror activities were long before mujhaiding era and afghanistan hate us at that time too.

                          4) I will post link soon it already someone pointed out..Afghanistan president offer Inian PM to attack pakistan on both front and to snatch areas equally..There no muhajudin at that time..

This all started from afghnastan illusion dream of LOY Afghanistan..They started involvement in Pakistan when Pakistan was weak ..Afghans need ti change there attitude towards pakistan also..
Afghans know pakistan support mujahdin for whatever reason and hate Pakistan without going into details as what cause pakistan to do that

There was no real hatred toward Pakistan among the average Afghan when Pakistan was created nor when Afghan militias were repelled in Bajaur. Loy Awghanistan always has been a deluded wet Pashtunist dream. Dont blame it on the entire Afghan nation.

Zarlakhta is right: hatred toward Pakistan began once you guys started supporting terrorism in our country. Face it.
