What a terrible reaction. Someone criticises the inherent racism very many Punjabi Pakistanis have, and you respond by saying "go ahead... kill us all".Originally posted by Sher-E-Punjab View PostChalo khair Samandri saab. Hum saab Punjabi buraay he. Ao to humay khatham kar do.

Basically the content level of this post: "No, you!!!!"Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostYou were the one triggered, since you felt so compelled to resort to the personal jab. Things were civil until childish slurs like "D-list forum member" and "nimrod" were flung at me. I was merely responding in kind.
I didn't get personal, you were reaching hard and I had to call you out on it.

More money? Firstly that's not even a sourced statement, but you're comparing money values in 1945 to 2001 lol
Pakistan has been an AID recipient its entire tenure, and you're bragging about exporting obsolete commuter planes left over by the British. That link is just some international competition for IT; great when we want someone who can data mine medical insurance fraud, we'll call you. LOL
Turkey's been fighting a war within for decades with the Kurds, but Turkey isn't fighting their own State-Packed terrorist entities as blowback. That is a title Pakistan proudly holds. Only a few years were bad LOL, You got whopped by India each time you went at them lolLast edited by Iblis_Efreetzai; 12-07-2016, 09:28 AM.

brother don't write non sense, bacha khanis are still loyal to Pakistan unlike afghanis. I didn't knew about Afghan history of interference in Pakistan internal affairs from 1947-1979. I used to feel bad for what ISI did but not anymore. And even now afghani refugees can blame their Modi loving president after going back.Originally posted by Sher-E-Punjab View PostYou should not say negative things about Afghans. Many of the Afghan refugees that were forced to leave Pakistan are more loyal to Pakistan than people like Samandri and these other western living Pashtuns. To be fair without bias, even in their NIC's Pashtuns are under the title Afghania or Afghan.
.
Afghani refugees are threat to integrity of Pakistan, make no mistake about it. We especially need to hunt those with forged CNIC.

Don't blame us, no paki pathan call himself afghan lol Afghan for any Pakistani mean someone from Afghanistan. What identity are you talking about, other day I was reading article on Balochistan pakhtuns and how they get mistaken for ethnic Baloch by KPK pakhtuns. And here you are going gaga over punjabis saying Afghan mean someone form Afghanistan. And about pathan word, first ask KPK CM khattack to stop using it before blaming punjabis.Originally posted by Samandri View PostI disagree. Almost every Punjabi (with the exception of few rare gems) is spreading the propaganda that Pashtun and Afghan are not the two names for the same qaum. They are also stressing on the point that those Pakistani Pashtuns who are calling themselves ethnic Afghans, are traitors and should be kicked out of Pakistan......they are simply asking Pakistani Pashtuns to give up on their Afghan identity and history associated with it, and are demanding that each Pakistani Pashtun should hate Afghanistan and its people just like they are hating Hindus and India on their east. At the same time they are called us "Pathans" (word coined by Hindus) instead of proper word Pashtun/PakhtunLast edited by dawn; 12-07-2016, 11:20 AM.

Every important and famous pakhtun in Pakistan have either called himself pathan or pakhtun, I've never heard anyone say afghan. And now you expect punjabis to suddenly identify you as afghans just because someone like Achakzai with questionable background want afghani refugees for his own political career in Balochistan. Not going to happen bro.

I am content with just being called Pakhtun or Pashtun, thats the word we use for ourselves in daily life conversations........but Afghan word is also part of our identity and we use it in our literature. The issue with ultra-Pakistani-natioanlists is that they insist that we give up on word Afghan and that we should consider Pashtuns on both sides of Durand line to be different people.....Originally posted by dawn View PostEvery important and famous pakhtun in Pakistan have either called himself pathan or pakhtun, I've never heard anyone say afghan. Pakistani bigots/nationalists are not pioneer of this attempt......They are following the footsteps of British. i was a reading a paper of H.G.Raverty, a historian, dating 1895 in which he was criticizing the attempt of British officers to use word "Pathan" for Pashtuns under British jurisdiction and word Afghan for those under Amir of Kabul, and trying to prove the divided people to be different and distinct from each other, he criticzed the usage of word "Pathan" by British , thats its an Indian word and Pashtuns dont use it for themeselves.....Later we see Olaf Caoe, governor of NWFP, came up with absurd definitions of Pathan and Afghan.
If some Pakistani Pashtun is calling himself Pathan, its Desi/Pakistani/Hindi influence on him, as Pakistani is a Hindi identityLast edited by Samandri; 12-07-2016, 12:20 PM.

I don't think anyone say pakhtuns are different, apart from maybe racist afghanis on internet calling you dhalkhors and indian looking, pathans etc. But now afghan mean someone from Afghanistan. Like for average Pakistani everyone in balochistan is ethnic Baloch.Originally posted by Samandri View PostI am content with just being called Pakhtun or Pashtun, thats the word we use for ourselves in daily life conversations........but Afghan word is also part of our identity and we use it in our literature. Punjabis think every afghan is pathan by default. And even someone like me recently found out that afghan pakhtuns make minority in Kabul.
You can't blame Pakistani nationalists for taking on bacha khanis like Achakzai who clearly have hidden agenda when he says afghan mean pakhtun.
