There wasn't even a Pashto language 2000 years ago, at least there's no historical record of Pashto being spoken in that time. No academic anthrpologist or linguist in the world accepts the antiquity of Pashto. This is just stuff made up by Afghans to mythologize ourselves.

historically Pashtuns are nomadic peoples, we didn't have a state or land just areas where we'd graze our animals. We settled in different areas due to two major events

    1.) Mongol Invasion

2.) Desertification of land that is now known as modern day Afghanistan

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

He has done more harm to syrians and syria than good.Turkey has been at the forefront for overthrowing syrian regime. They have been supporting rebels and islamists against assad.Erdogan had even considered bombing syria at one time.

I see no problem with Turkey helping Syrians to overthrow Assad, he's a murderer and deserves to be taken out of power. Most Syrians who are against Assad agree on this as far as I can tell.

It was a disaster way before then, Assad is the one who started the violence with massacreing protesters. There would have been no turning back after that.

The Syrians want to overthrow Assad, Turkey is just helping them achieve that.

You are suggesting that Syrians didnt want a regime change and that the people played no role in the revolution.

External forces can't destabilize a well functioning state and citizenry. There needs to be enough dissatisfaction within the citizenry in order to facilitate an uprising.

What you are doing is a typical Marxist conspiracy theorist way of explaining revolutions and uprisings in some countries.

Let's take your hypothesis at face value. even if that were the case .....there was plenty of reasons and unrest within Syria that it would have happened regardless of whether or not it was staged by Western powers.Let's ignore the fact that Assad was one of the most Westernized leaders of the region. The West would have no reason to depose Assad, they could have wooed him to the West EASILY using that as a common ground.

It was Assad's stupidity; attacking his own citizens which lead to the West supporting the Syrian Uprising, because if the West started supporting Assad, they would lose credibility by supporting a tyrant. Assad lost credibility the moment HE directly ordered his army to fire on UNARMED protesters

This is ALL Assad's fault....he brought this on himself

Egyptians also didn't speak Arabic 3000 years ago. Does it mean modern Egyptians are not the descendents of ancient Egyptians? We Pashtuns are the descendents of Eastern Iranian tribes as proven by our Language and our Genetics.

All Iranic tribes were nomads at one time. There is no evidence to suggest all or majority of Pashtun tribes were nomads before Mongol invasions. Care to share any proof?

I'm not a Syrian, so I'm not too into these Syrian politics. However, SyrianGirlpartisan has some nice videos on this topic. According to her, Assad must stay in power for the time being to control the stability in the region. There are many rebel groups in Syria, similar to the situation with the Mujahideen who were against Najibullah. And what happened when the mujahideen started fighting amongst one another? Something similar to this could also happen in Syria.

All Afghan communists love Assad. Love for tyranny and oppression of Muslims is one thing all socialists and nationalists have in common.

Partisan girl wants Syrians to endure dictatorship and tyranny and suffer under Assad while she prefers living in Australia. As someone has recently pointed out, practically all pro Assad activists on social media don't live in Syria. Yet they know what is best for Syrians and the region better than those who live there.

Nice article on Partisan Girl: The Kardashian Look-Alike Trolling for Assad - The Daily Beast

Well it's like ethnic identity for them. I'm sure afghans (pathan ones) if given citizenship will blend in with pathans and not identified as muhajirs by other Pakistanis just like east punjabis are not known as muhajirs.

SyrianGirl is Pro Regime and defends the regime and works with right wing/anti Muslim Websites like INFOWARS

She's a regular correspondent with Paul Joseph Watson and Infowars and other Infowar Personalities who are OPENLY Anti-Muslim and Anti-Islam; I wouldn't take much of what she says with any credibility.

Watch these videos and see for yourself

If you know Paul Joseph Watson; he's apart of the same YouTube media community that hosts Praeger University which had that Anti-Islam Feminist Video you commented on when Khostai posted.

If that gives you any idea about the credibility of such people.

Thank you; didn't know there was an article about her, but her YouTube video associations with Anti-Muslim Media voices would be enough to expose SyrianGirl

She's an Alawi, but calls herself a Sunni, this is a common Alawi tactic.
