When I did say Afghani law approve rape? Though it does help rapists rather then victim. And we have gone through this bacha bazi debate before, it's common to the point of considered cultural practice in Afghanistan hence not given importance by law agencies if they exist to begin with.

You were claiming it's a norm in Afghanistan. This is clearly not so. You're assuming the rapist was exonerated, nothing in your citation suggests that so your conclusion is faulty.Originally posted by Golden View PostWhen I did say Afghani law approve rape? You have no data or statistics on bacha bazi, and by your own admission confirm it's a fringe, groups and not the common people, hence not common to the point of cultural practice.
This is your own admission But hundreds of kids in a Punjabi village and these gangs were allowed to get away with it with people's support. THAT IS cultural.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Sorry gang is in jail, we are not talking about Afghanistan remember. And people protested and injured police officers. That never happen in Afghanistan hence we should consider it part of their culture.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostYou were claiming it's a norm in Afghanistan. This is clearly not so. The same people were standing by while this was happening in front of their faces. This is all a defense mechanism you use whenever you're confronted with any uncomfortable information.Originally posted by Golden View PostSorry gang is in jail, we are not talking about Afghanistan remember. Nope, few people abusing kids in private is very different then open bacha bazi culture of Afghanistan. That's why westerners find it so fascinating and make documentaries on it.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostThe same people were standing by while this was happening in front of their faces. "Rape is a major issue in Afghanistan. A number of human rights organizations have criticized the country's rape laws and their enforcement.
Rape in Afghanistan is largely under-reported.[1][2]
In many cases, the victim is punished. Women are respected for their virginity, and it is rare for a man to marry a rape victim. Even if the women gets pregnant, it is uncommon for the rapist to marry her.[3] Thus a women is now punished for being "impure". The authorities treat such cases as adultery. Even if the woman is not punished, she remains rejected by society as "dishonorable" (badnaam in Pashto), while the rapist is not considered dishonored.[3] Sometimes the national courts are ignored in favour of tribal courts.[4]"
Raped women is likely to be punished or in best case scenario forced to marry who raped her to preserve family honour. This despite the fact afghani marry girls as soon as they turn 10.
Some years ago when I was visiting Kabul…I volunteered in committee to reform Afghan legal laws. To my surprise the civil and criminal law of Afghanistan is still based Shariah-- Hanafi laws specially the books Al-fiqh al-akbar (theological book on jurisprudence), and Al-fiqh al-absat (general book on jurisprudence). On other hand Shiitee under Shiite Personal Status Law has been giving the option of Jaffari jurisprudence. The punishment for rape according to Hanafi School is very complex, for example if both victim and the preparatory of rape are single then law allows for marriage giving victim agrees--in most case they do for no one will marry a rape victim. On other hand the act of rape itself is consider as Zina thus judged based on Hudud law---a Punishment which is mandated and fixed by Allah.
I do agree rape is a taboo subject in Afghanistan, at same it is not as common as neighboring country for simple fact that it is the ultimate shame and dishonor…rape is consider worst then cold blood murder… I believe the reason or Bacha Bazi also has to do with considering woman as Ezaat and you simply don’t play around peoples Ezaat no matter how poor or rich. The same is true in Pashtunistan and Balochistan...you can never find Jirga ordering rape as it was the case with Punjab Panjchat--Mokhtar Mai.ای وخته بېرته راشه يو افغان وزېږوه

I meant barelwis in central punjab rural areas do many weird things from wahabi point of view. They are clearly not necessary in Islam. Like in this video from some Sialkot town, doesn't make sense to me but what ever if they are happy doing it.

All this honour stuff is only found on internet, average female would rather go out alone in Pakistan then in Afghanistan. I obviously don't expect you to accept this but is open secret. Keeping in mind there have been a war in Afghanistan for past 40 years and the state infrastructure was completely destroyed, the economy was devastated--- with millions of land mines planted on agricultural lands..the unemployed rate is highest in region and there are warlords with their thugs all armed to the teeth roaming---yet the crime rate is lower then Pakistan.Originally posted by Golden View PostAll this honour stuff is only found on internet, average female would rather go out alone in Pakistan then in Afghanistan. And the ratio to population makes no difference in this figure?Originally posted by Azmal View PostMurder rate---Homicide rate per year per 100,000 inhabitants in various countries.---of Pakistan(6.8) is twice than Afghanistan(3.4) even though most of murders in Afghanistan is due to war or the warlord/druglords/mafia that are part of gov now a days.
Dude, that's why the world over believes that Afghans are retarded and uneducated.
Even after escaping to the west, Afghans refuse to go to school or learn math. And then you insult Taliban for not having intelligence, but you farsi/tajik Afghans are just as retarded, If not more.
This not a troll post, because it is just sad.

hahahaha he is typical paki--doing his mental gymnastic in order hide his head in sand. These figure are very interesting, although there is active war in Afghanistan still there is less killing---yet our enemies are calling us "hot head".Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostYou dont understand 'rates' and you are calling other people retards?ای وخته بېرته راشه يو افغان وزېږوه

LOL.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostYou dont understand 'rates' and you are calling other people retards?
Who said, I don't understand rates?
I clearly asked If the ratio of the 'act' to the population, makes a difference. That was simply an objective comment to see what Afghan retards will reply with. You can say, I was baiting the retards.
Seems like you've had a little bit of education, but again like a typical Afghan, you jump to basing your responses on self proposed insinuations.

It's well known that Afghanistan statics are under reported. To report it one actually need to have proper law enforcement agencies, sorry Taliban doesn't count. Afghani people kill each other over glass of water and here you're trying to convince me that Pakistan have higher crime rate based on unreliable data lolLast edited by Golden; 07-01-2016, 01:10 PM.
