Tajiks, Uzbeks and Hazaras are not 5 or so Northern Alliance commanders. We are speaking about millions of people. They lived in relative freedom for the past 14 years, and they're not eager to revert to living under a brutal regime that denied them basic human rights.

in geography Afghanistan never have an access to the sea. those who had access to sea was not able even single time to behold the Afghan blow and always lost it. but then again Afghanistan never used sea for big trade or from strategic point of view.

I have to disagree, pre-Durand line Afghanistan showed it encompassing Baluchistan all the way to the south since it was annexed by the Durrani empire so we did have some what of an access to the sea.

His son leads the faction that does not want to enter peace talks but Mansoor's faction does.
