Unstable Afghanistan is not in Pakistan interest. Only FATA people may have supported Pashtunistan but they also showed Afghanis middle finger in 1960's. And if you think stable Afghanistan in which Afghan pashtuns are minorty, big minorty but still minorty of around 40% or even less. Why would majority non-pashtuns support ethnic nationalism in stable Afghanistan? Do you expect hazaras, tajiks, uzbeks, turkmens etc to support pashtunistan?. So that Pakistani pashtuns (around 3 times more in numbers then Afghan pashtuns) can rule over your kin?
