Any one can visit khyber teaching hospital in Peshawer, he would realize Afghan patients are traveling from very distant places of Afghanistan, all the way for treatment in Pakistan......I am no economic guru, but i can say for sure, that Afghans, particularly Pashtuns of Afghanistan, are largely dependent on Pakistan for treatment facilities.
Breto allah de rawala marwata. It doesn't matter we are only emerging from conflict and instability. Pakistanis like you can come and set up clinics and we pay until we have enough doctors of our own. The NDS should be on your case you agent.

On another note if you do research you will find out that fiscal capacity of most fiscally strong states (in term of raising revenues through taxation etc.) is rooted and has nexus with its military expenditure and external threats. Now Pakistan being a military state, having gone in to big wars with India (although getting a defeat) and the internal security challenges it has been facing its effort of tax as percentage to its GDP is mediocre. But there is a reason for this lax attitude because it has since its creation been reliant of foreign aid. You guys are professional beggars in this business and better than Afghans. No wonder top Americans say it openly that you will sell your wife for money.

You have been slaves for millennial.
At least get your facts right.

Pakistan budget last year was $43 billion. USA give $1 billion mostly for army. Pakistan tax to gdp ratio is around 9-10%, India's tax to gdp is better but not much 11%. So the difference is 1% at best.

Aid only make 2-3% of Pak budget. Rest is tax collection and gov revenues. Afghnis are slaves will remain so in distant future. Same general who said Afghanistan border was up to Indus, now have become first Afghani general to visit PMA kakul. He has basically accepted defeat because his pay check comes from outside.

Now if you would rather back your rants. Why was he invited? Look at the figure right at the top, you are receiving almost the same amount of aid as Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a country that is emerging from decades of war, what is your excuse? You military expenditure and security challenges is relatively more and huge to India. What bout hand outs from Arabs and being their mercenaries?

''According to a new analysis by the Government Accountability Office, the United States and other donors funded 90 percent of Afghanistan’s total public expenditures from 2006 to 2010. In fiscal 2010, the Kabul government’s entire domestic revenues came out to about $1.6 billion.''

As you can see Afghanistan gov will not last 1 month if aid is cut.

Pakistan recently decided to not send any troops to Yemen, arabs are in pathetic state as far as their army men is concerned. They are obese, lazy and not ready to fight. Pak rejected $10 billion offer according to unverified sources. This is not how slaves behave, slaves don't have nuclear bombs and powerful army.

Abdullah and Ghani formed unity goverment after 1 visit by John Kerry and warning of cutting aid. ANA started operation against militants after one visit by Raheel Sharif. While Pakistan waited years to develop consensues just to start operation despite huge pressure from USA.

Now you can use afghani math to explain how 90% of Afghanistan budget is actually not foreign aid but money for services provided by your kin, like bending over when ever some american soldier pay visit.
hahaha oh my god, you're dumber than a retard. Posting a site from 4 years ago, lol. Maybe if you searched about Pakistani economy, you will realize how many time foreign countries have bailed you out. Pakistan have been in verge of bankruptcy various times.

You black apes bend over to Persian invaders, Afghan invaders, Arab invaders. You guys were British prostitute for decades, and now for the US. For all we know, I could be your father, lol.

Officially, the central bank holds $8.14 billion (£4.65 billion) of foreign currency, but if forward liabilities are included, the real reserves may be only $3 billion - enough to buy about 30 days of imports like oil and food.

Nine months ago, Pakistan had $16 bn in the coffers.

The government is engulfed by crises left behind by Pervez Musharraf, the military ruler who resigned the presidency in August. High oil prices have combined with endemic corruption and mismanagement to inflict huge damage on the economy.

Given the country's standing as a frontline state in the US-led "war on terrorism", the economic crisis has profound consequences. Pakistan already faces worsening security as the army clashes with militants in the lawless Tribal Areas on the north-west frontier with Afghanistan.

The economic crisis has already placed the future of the new government in doubt after the transition to a civilian rule. President Asif Ali Zardari has faced numerous but unproven allegations of corruption dating from the two governments led by his wife, Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated last December.

The Wall Street Journal said that Pakistan's economic travails were "at least in part, a crisis of confidence in him".
While Mr Musharraf's prime minister, Shaukat Aziz, frequently likened Pakistan to a "Tiger economy", the former government left an economy on the brink of ruin without any durable base.
The Pakistan rupee has lost more than 21 per cent of its value so far this year and inflation now runs at 25 per cent. The rise in world prices has driven up Pakistan's food and oil bill by a third since 2007.
Efforts to defer payment for 100,000 barrels of oil supplied every day by Saudi Arabia have not yet yielded results, while the government has also failed to raise loans on favourable terms from "friendly countries".
Mr Zardari told the Wall Street Journal that Pakistan needed a bail out worth $100 billion from the international community.
"If I can't pay my own oil bill, how am I going to increase my police?" he asked. "The oil companies are asking me to pay $135 [per barrel] of oil and at the same time they want me to keep the world peaceful and Pakistan peaceful."
The ratings agency Standard and Poor's has given Pakistan's sovereign debt a grade of CCC +, which stands only a few notches above the default level.
The agency gave warning that Pakistan may be unable to cover about $3 billion in upcoming debt payments.
Mr Zardari is expected to ask the international community for a rescue package at a meeting in Abu Dhabi next month.
This gathering will determine whether the West is willing to bail out Pakistan.

Let me add that this isn't the first time Pakistan have been in verge of bankruptcy, and it will certainly not be the last.

After years of bitter court battles with creditors, Argentina has defaulted on its debt, according to rating agency Standard & Poor's. After failing to come to an agreement with creditors from its previous default in 2001, the country missed necessary bond payments on July 31, triggering the default announcement. As of publication, other organizations, most notably the rating agency Moody's Investors Service and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, a derivatives trade group, have yet to release public statements confirming the default.
Argentina is not the only country that has struggled, or even failed, to pay its debt in recent years. It is hardly the only country with a severely impaired credit rating either. Alongside Argentina, Moody's currently lists 10 other countries with a rating of Caa1 or worse. A Caa1 rating is several notches below Ba1, which still carries substantial credit risk. Based on ratings from Moody's Investors Service, these are the 11 countries at risk of default.
The countries with the lowest credit ratings significantly differ from one another. They span the globe, ranging from Greece and Ukraine in Europe, to Pakistan in Asia, to Ecuador, Venezuela, and Belize in the Americas.

                                > Moody's credit rating: Caa1
                                > Moody's outlook: Stable
                                > 2014 Gov't debt (pct. of GDP): 63.7%
                                > 2014 GDP per capita (PPP): $3,231
This April, Pakistan issued its first bond in seven years, raising roughly $2 billion in dollar-denominated debt. Pakistan has a multi-billion dollar line of credit with the IMF, but loans are conditional on the country enacting structural reforms to its economy. Pakistan was at risk of default last year until the IMF agreed to lend it money. Tax collection remains a major problem in the country. According to The Express Tribune, only roughly one in 200 citizens even files an income tax return. The country's total debt amounts to roughly 64% of its annual GDP, even as government spending for 2014 is estimated to be among the world's lowest, at roughly 20% of GDP.
