I have visited Afghanistan few months ago, the doctors there in hospital of the city didnt even know the basic skills like ATLS. The condition of the hospital of such big city was worst than any THQ of Pakistan. American occupation didnt help much, Afghanistan has not developed at all aside from military. Any one can visit khyber teaching hospital in Peshawer, he would realize Afghan patients are traveling from very distant places of Afghanistan, all the way for treatment in Pakistan......I am no economic guru, but i can say for sure, that Afghans, particularly Pashtuns of Afghanistan, are largely dependent on Pakistan for treatment facilities.

Afghanistan was on right track before they invited Soviets. Today Afghanistan would still be 3rd world **** hole but at least it will be relatively comparable to other 3rd world countries like Pakistan.

That is not true. You tried to retain the occupation of Bengal and to virtually exterminate the Bengali resistance but were defeated just in 13 days. On Abdur Rahman Khan, don't forget that starting from 1785 almost 6 of your generations were born to British slavery not to mention the mellinia of slavery to the conquerors before that.

Your budget is over USD 30-35 billion and the 1.5 or more that you receive from the U.S. and of course from other sources could be as much as 10% of your budget.

On another note if you do research you will find out that fiscal capacity of most fiscally strong states (in term of raising revenues through taxation etc.) is rooted and has nexus with its military expenditure and external threats. Now Pakistan being a military state, having gone in to big wars with India (although getting a defeat) and the internal security challenges it has been facing its effort of tax as percentage to its GDP is mediocre. But there is a reason for this lax attitude because it has since its creation been reliant of foreign aid. You guys are professional beggars in this business and better than Afghans.
