So this lie that Turks are brainwashed from when they are little kids that "Pakistan is our eternal friend as they helped us in our war of independence" is nonsense.

As the founder of Pakistan himself was opposed to the pro-Turkish Khilafah movement.

During the Indonesian National Revolution, Muhammad Ali Jinnah encouraged Muslim soldiers serving in British Indian army to join hands with Indonesians against their fight against the Dutch Imperial colonisation of Indonesia. As a result 600-Muslim soldiers of the British Indian Army deserted the colonial forces putting their lot at stake, allied with Indonesians.[4]

Out of these 600 soldiers, 500 of them died in war; while the survivors returned to Pakistan or continued to live in Indonesia. As a recognition of Muslim soldiers from Pakistan, during Indonesia Golden Jubilee celebration on August 17, 1995, Indonesia granted Independence War Awards to the living ex Pakistan soldiers and awarded the highest honor Adipura to the Founding Father of Pakistan Mohammad All Jinnah and the Government of Pakistan.[5]

Pakistanis are defender of ummah, in few weeks you will see Pak forces once again defending muslim brothers in Yemen. Its not our fault being bad a** mathar fakers who are ready to help any country belonging to Islamic ummah.

Another fabricated lie by Pakis. Brown Sahin was so thoroughly Westernised that he would not even shake hands with a common man lest they catch dust, preferred speaking English instead of any local language, and fully emulated the British masters.

He didn't like suffer even one second of prison hardship for freedom let alone asking soldiers to fight against colonial rule elsewhere.

These fabricated lies may deceive your ape-minded country men but not others who rely on your official history.

During the First World War, Iqbal wrote a poem at the request of Sir Michael O’Dwyer, Governor of the Punjab, in response to an appeal from the King.

This was read out in 1918. In it, addressing the King of England, Iqbal says:

“If there is freedom of speech and writing here, if there is peace between the Temple and the Mosque here,
“If there is an organised system of business of the various peoples here, if there is strength in the dagger and life in the sword here,

“Whatever there is, it has been granted by you, O honoured one, this land is alive only because of your existence.

“I am the tree of loyalty, love is my fruit, a just witness to this statement are my actions.

“Sincerity is selfless, so is truth selfless, so is service, and so is devotion selfless,

“Pledge, loyalty and love are also selfless, and devotion to the royal throne is also selfless,

“But being human the thought which arises naturally is, that your favours are manifest upon India.”

This was published in the paper Akhbar-i Haq, the magazine Zamana of Kanpur, and the book Hindustan aur Jang 'Alamgir (‘India and the World War’) by L. Ralya Ram. It was then published in Baqiyyat-i Iqbal, on pages 216 to 219. It was first read out by Dr. Iqbal himself at the Punjab University Hall, Lahore.

Note that Sir Michael O’Dwyer was the notorious Punjab governor that had ordered Jalianwalla Bagh massacre.

          1. Pakistan is generally liked by Arab countries, who definitely prefer it to Bangladesh (with the only exception being Algeria which played a big role in our post-independence recognition in the Muslim world) and especially by Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

They market themselves as some sort of champions of Islam and the ummah and propagate romantic narratives of Iqbal, a person who I myself had no problem with, but seems like a 2 penny court psychophant and not much more.

This "liking" or preference for Pakistan over Bangladesh has harmed us in economic, political and military ways as Pakistan or its tool the Jamaat e Islami has incited both Turkey and Saudi against us.

The point being refuting the idyllic image that other Muslims have of Pakistan is of great benefit.

However even if they know the reality of Pakistan (as I'm sure many do e.g. 1971) they will still prefer Pakistanis - due to reasons of racial preference and placing them higher up in their racial pecking order - but perhaps it will be a bit more balanced.

          2. Jinnah has almost become deified by some Pakistani nationalists e.g. in the defence.pk propaganda site.

People should know the reality of this man.

          3. Is your friend who might write the article Pashtun or Turk?

Whatever he/she is I am very grateful to them for their noble work in this field.

Iqbal was an archetypical Punjabi strong on rhetoric but week on convictions. He was a prime double gamer on the one hand composing highly emotional religious poetry to exploit sentiments of common Muslims and gain popularity with Muslims and influence among common masses; on the other hand he said eulogies of British and admired British colonial role in order to get favour from them.

The above eulogies Iqbal said at a time when British had colonized most of the Muslim lands, had destroyed Ottoman Khalafath, and had conquered Jerusalem the Muslim holy place to avenge the crusade.

Iqbal along with Sir Mohammad Shafi (another Punjabi) and Choudhri Sir Zafarullah Khan (another Punjabi who authored Pakistan's resolution on the orders of Lord Linghthow the British viceroy) campaigned for the recruitment of Punjabi Muslims in British Army in world war I. Punjab's mashaiakh, gaddi nasheens, feudal were the main forces in such recruitment campaign.

                1. Please spread this valuable knowledge as much as possible, perhaps you could even start your own blog. I am sure you don't have time but still very important knowledge.

                2. This whole "champions of Islam" (when they want to be, when it is convenient, and when it is not they unashamedly support the genocidal anti-Muslim regime of Myanmar) has benefited them a lot.

During the Qader Molla issue (a Jamaati political leader who was executed) virulently Pakistano-philic Turkey saw its foreign minister Davutoglu do the following:

                - Say he would have an envoy specifically to monitor the Qader Molla case.

                Yes!

Blatant interference in the affairs of a sovereign country. Imagine Bangladesh saying we will have an envoy to make sure Turkey treats PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan with justice!

                - He also openly said Bangladesh should stop war crimes trials issue and abandon all issues with Pakistan, and wait for it "for the sake of Muslim brotherhood".

This is typical of Pakistanis and their supporters use the Muslim card, rather than Pakistan behave like true Muslims and repent for their crimes and ask for forgiveness, "Islam" is used to promote Pakistani interests and for a pro-Pakistan compliant regime in Dhaka.

This is the same Turkey that has "Muslim brotherhood" with Syria ( a country it threatened to invade in 1998), Egypt, Libya etc.

                - He also openly said he would phone Saudi foreign minister, Faisal, to speak about this issue.

This is the level of AKP interference in Bangladesh's internal affairs.

                For what?

                For this man...

Pro-Pakistan member of militant group, "Jamaat e Islami", Qader Molla whom the Turkish president, prime minister, foreign minister and deputy prime minister all spoke up for.

... but more importantly for their "beloved" Pakistan.

This was later followed by pro-Erdogan thugs attacking our embassy.

My apologies to those who think I seem to be going off-topic, I am actually precisely on-topic.

The topic is "Punjabi/Pakistan and Turk Brotherhood".

This brotherhood is one which affects others and causes countries like Bangladesh to have its embassy attacked after a heavy biased media campaign.

One Jamaati being killed, sends the whole of Turkey in to a frenzy.

1 million Pashtuns being made refugees in Waziristan is a non-issue for these same Pakistan-worshipping Turks.

The Governor of the. province, Sir 'Michael O'Dwyer, was in the chair. Iqbal delivered a speech in praise of the virtues of the British Empire, and then recited a poem swearing sincere and

                        PAKISTAN-WORSHIP IN TURKEY

                        1. Pakistan-worship in Turkey is not just a case of two countries who are good friends, it goes much deeper than that in emotional terms.

A few years ago an ex-ambassador to Turkey even suggested a joint federation between the two countries.

                        2. Most Turks know very little about Pakistan.

                        - One it is a multi-ethnic federation.
                        - It did not exist during the 1920s Turkish war of independence
                        - It has killed and raped more Muslims than Israel

                        3. Turkish support for "Pakistan" is actually for Punjab.

As Turks essentially know nothing about Pakistan they will always blindly support the state and army of Pakistan against its opponents.

So if a Turk hears the Pakistan army is against the MQM, he will automatically support the Pakistan army.

This is not real "love", because a friend knows about the one who he loves.

Pakistani civil society for example which questions the army will never receive any support from the Pakistan-worshipping Turkish state or its ignorant and brainwashed public.

Turkey is emotionally the most pro-Pakistan country on earth, 20 times more pro-Pakistan than America is pro-Israel.

Even in America many criticize Israel, in Turkey Pakistan is never criticized and to do so is "shameful" as it is a "national duty" for every Turk to love Pakistan.

Iqbal's Jewish honey trap - Emma Wegenast. It is said this woman introduced Iqbal to the Rothschild the Zionist who rewarded him for his role in pouring cold water over Muslim world anger over Palestine and ending the powerful Ottoman empire at Turkey.

Not exactly, Pakistan had good relations with Indonesia while worst relations with another muslim country in the region, Malaysia. Pakistan never fought for Ummah, only for Dollars. In fact Pakistan is the only country in the world which uses Air power and relentless artillery and Tank shelling on their own population, all for dollars.

The Pakistan army is mainly composed of Punjabi Muslims.

It is these same Muslims who made the vast bulk of "Indian Muslim" soldiers during the British wars against the Ottomans. So when the following article speaks of "Indian Muslims" it is mainly referring to Punjabis i.e. the ancestors of todays Pakistanis.

If Pakistan-worshipping Turks argue that "Pakistanis" helped Turkey in the 1920s then by the same token Pakistanis were active in killing Turkish soldiers around the same time too.

The Ottomans were well aware of the Indian Muslim presence in the British lines, and they moved promptly to exploit their status as coreligionists. Because almost one-third of these new infantrymen with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force were Muslim, Ottoman frontline patrols were accompanied by the regimental imam, who would sing prayers at the British troops, hoping to lure defectors...

In retrospect, the Ottoman effort was mostly ineffective at sparking Indian military defections. When religion proved ineffective, the Ottomans attempted other propaganda strategies. One Indian battalion in Mesopotamia was greeted by a shower of Hindi pamphlets warning them that “England was starving and would soon be unable to feed and clothe them.” The Indian officers wrote a reply and requested it be dropped on the Ottomans. It included the lines, “We have never been fed and clothed so well, but prisoners taken from you are in rags. … We will never cease to fight for the King Emperor Jarj Panjam [George V] until the evil Kaiser is utterly trodden into the mud.”

                                ...

As the historian Nikolas Gardner has detailed, the Ottomans bombarded Kut with “leaflets printed in various Indian languages calling on sepoys to murder their British officers and join the Turks.” As elsewhere, this Ottoman initiative had little effect, but it reminded Townshend of the dilemma Indian soldiers faced fighting in a foreign land against coreligionists while subsisting on inadequate provisions and receiving insufficient medical care. As the siege dragged on, conditions only worsened.

As Smarty has pointed out many Pakhtun/Afghan soldiers refused to fight against their brothers in faith, the Muslim Turks.
