Pakistan(ISI) being the master of proxy warfare could not penetrate its proxy into India because of the BIG/TALL fences.

Mullah omar being too weak(Compared to ISI) won't be able to destabilize Pakistan, infact won't be able to even enter into Pakistan if the work on fence is completed within the next 2-3years.

I can tell you that,Mullah Omar sort of People won't be accepted in Afghanistan society with 33% literacy,i can sure you that they won't survive a day in Pakistan.

Hardly a master with the fact that its proxy wouldnt obey it for recognizing a simple border demand.

My point, once again, was not that Omar will be victorious or sit on a throne in Kabul. My point was that whatever stabilizes in Kabul, and Karzai was actually the softest of these viewpoints, will not make it easy on Islamabad. Pakistan's new brand of thinking is that it can somehow head this off before its chicks come home to roost. Yet Pakistan is a symbiotic parasite - it requires a certain type of oxygen just to tread water. The double game is up compadre.

It was sorely surprised with the reaction and we saw it realizing this even when Nek Muhammad Wazir was alive.

So now perhaps Pakistan sees two competing threats: a religious establishment returning to Kabul and doing what Mullah Omar did to them when they demanded Durand line recognition and he scoffed, resulting in those with now blood feuds with Pakistan having permanent safe haven.

Prior strategic depth concept.

What they do not realize is that if nothing else, Kabul is getting some bargaining chips and, like Daud Khan, there will be a time and a place where Kabul starts needling Pakistan again. Remember, Afghans have long long memories and laying low is an art they have perfected.

The number of angles with which to take on Pakistan (Baloch, now Tribals, etc) shall remain numerous.

Pakistan created this headache for itself instead of taking a principled stand.

A Stabilized Afghanistan will give up the claim of durrandline.Even The superior India with respect to Pakistan is being forced by Smaller Pakistan to even propose LOC=International border,But Pakistan under Musharaf Refused.

A Stabilized Afghanistan will work Closely with Pakistan on Economic Terms and built strong relations.

Hard for you to consume but i can tell you that one day Pashtuns region's of Afghanistan will ask Pakistan to merge them with Pakistan proper and not the other way around.

It wouldn't be just Kabul, India under Mudi, and Westerners with basis in Kabul and potentially Iranians due to the Shia factor are going to teach a good lesson to Pakis. There are many dynamites in Pakistan from Baluch factor to Karachi to Sindh, to now Pashtuns and even in Punjab there is much explosive material in the form of sectarian groups and Jehadis.

Early June Pakistan killed indian troop and Modi govt didnt even responded

Yesterday Pakistani troops yet again killed a indian soldier and injuring three more and still no one responded.

anyway India under modi i hope will extend the hand toward Pakistan by giving off pathankot to Pakistan and recognize LOC as International border(They already proposed under Vajpaye but mushy refused)

This I highly doubt. My friend, the height of hubris is to not see one's own weakness and preempt it. We see some of the United States's best analysts being rather honest about its limitations and what it bought on itself.

Yet somehow you are painting this picture of a far more corrupt state and a far less stable state and far less functional state somehow perfecting the art of war?

This was the same state that supposedly had not an inkling that the world's most wanted man was in Abbottabad and it took Central Intelligence to find him?

I recall in the months leading up to that reading some ISI guys in the NY Times calling the CIA "wet behind the ears" and "darling boys."

The egg sure was on their face at the end of it all.

Remember, the lesson here is that admitting defeat/or at least calibrating for a mistake only strengthens a people and their country and causes appropriate policy shifts to occur.

Also recall that a strong harmonious country takes all its citizens wants, needs, and desires into account and tries its best to view its citizens as indispensable lives.

You will never post Civil War era see the US Military marching across Carolina or Georgia and uprooting the whole population except in disaster relief.

Yet in Pakistan save for one grouping, all others are prone to have their leaders and politicians imprisoned or killed and military operations on their soil.

That is not the sign of survival - that is the sign of being on life support.

They have no idea. As I stated before, I think a trip out of that environment opens the eyes. I told my Peshawari friend about how these guys are saying Peshawar is on the up and up and they showed me image from the 40s and bygone eras that showed a beautiful, rustic, bucolic setting; not the overpopulated, mismanaged, barely electrified mess the central government has facilitated.

We saw a rabbit hopping by and he said, see that Swaay? We used to have those - now you due to the mismanagement even that wild life is considered extinct except in some remote areas.

And yes, why not Afghanistan put a fence on one side, India also seals the other side, rest of the world seals from the side of the ocean, and Chinese now faced with the terrorism menace emanating from Pakistan seals the northeast and you have the failed state that has given nothing to the world except terrorism imploding onto itself.

Pakistan gives to 'the international community' NATO supplies and use of airspace. China did not give NATO supplies or use of its airspace, and nor did Iran.

I know your smart, but right now you are acting naive, and I guess this is a result of the education you have received(no disrespect). Do you honestly think right now the Pakistani Army is killing 'terrorists'? Do you not think the TTP leadership left already(plenty of sources proving this point)? What Pak Army is doing is no different than the Israelis.

Don't take ISPR too seriously; like the Israeli Defence Forces, anyone dead to them is a 'terrorist'. As a medical doctor, you need to be able to see past through these lines, and be able to both rationally and logically think. In fact, think of yourself being a terrorist, and having a two weeks notice, why on earth would you want to stay -- would you stay? There is a reason most barbers in the area received such a large number of hair cuts, because they want to blend in, wait a bit, and then hit Pak Fauk hard via guerrilla war, something that has proven as effective measure for them.

Well, Here's a Paki source:

Be open-minded, and don't blindly support an institution that is behind the deaths of innocent Pashtuns -- unequivocally condemn all those are behind the death of innocent people; don't blindly support one, while calling the other terrorists. Such blanket-statements like the aforementioned make you appear foolish, but I trust that with age, and as you mature, you will look back at your posts here and realize you've learned a lot. Read what BarakzaiAbdali wrote carefully, and try to dissect what he said. Try to find out:

"What did he say that was wrong?"
"Where did he make something up?"

Something most Pakistani educated people lack is the ability to think(which is why the nation is in such a disgusting mess). I genuinely want you to improve your critical thinking skills, and can recommend you great sources to use. I expect great positive things from you in the future, hopefully.

Best,
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

pakistan,s swat operation was not failure.
In fact it was just drama played by napak army.
There was no operation in swat.
It was just to insult, abuse, kill, destroy the schools of swat to make fool of the world.
NOT A SINGLE TERRORIST WAS KILLED OR ARESTED THERE.
ISI agents must stop this nonsense.
