US reacts on suggestion of “parallel government” in Afghanistan

attaThe US Secretary of State John Kerry has expressed grave concern regarding the suggestion of a parallel government in Afghanistan.
Kerry warned that any action to seize power illegally in Afghanistan would lead to the end of US financial and security support to Afghanistan.
The remarks by Kerry was followed after a prominent Afghan politician and governor of northern Balkh province Gen. Atta Mohammad Noor said the announcement of the vote results without cleaning of fraudulent votes has paved the way for the announcement of a parallel government.
Gen. Noor also called on supporters of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah to use all force and and options and prepare for widespread civil movements to defend from their votes.
The independent election commission of Afghanistan (IEC) on Monday released the preliminary vote results for the runoff presidential election which puts former finance minister Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai in the lead for the presidency.
However, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah’s team rejected the preliminary vote results and said they would not accept the results unless fraudulent votes have not been separated.
In the meantime, Kerry said he expects Afghan electoral institutions to conduct a full review of all reasonable allegations of irregularities.
Kerry also added that there is no justification for violence or threats of extralegal action.

Kerry expresses concern over suggestion of parallel govt
    By Lalit K Jha Jul 8, 2014 - 10:50
WASHINGTON (Pajhwok): The US Secretary of State, John Kerry on Tuesday expressed grave concern over reports of protests in Afghanistan and of suggestions of a parallel government, adding there is no justifiable recourse to violence.
“I have noted reports of protests in Afghanistan and of suggestions of a “parallel government” with the gravest concern,” Kerry said in a statement, adding that the US expects Afghan electoral institutions to conduct a full and thorough review of all reasonable allegations of irregularities.
Kerry said: “At the same time, there is no justifiable recourse to violence or threats of violence, or for resort to extra-constitutional measures or threats of the same.”
Noting that the apolitical role of the security forces must be respected by all parties, Kerry called on all Afghan leaders to maintain calm in order to preserve the gains of the last decade and maintain the trust of the Afghan people.
“Any action to take power by extra-legal means will cost Afghanistan the financial and security support of the United States and the international community,” Kerry said.

Why do you retards keep putting Tajik, Hazara and Uzbek at the same boat. Do you brainless idiot know that Uzbek and Tajiks both political and military enemies. They have fought over northern part of Afghanistan under civilwar and since the Afghan government was created in 2001. They hate each other more than they hate Taliban.

Why the hell is an idiot like you commenting on Afghan issues, when you don't even know the very basics regarding Afghanistan. If Kabul government stays, then they will size the entire Afghanistan. Assuming Taliban somehow gets a comeback, then they will seize entire Afghanistan as well. And for some odd reason you think Afghanistan will be divided along the ethnic lines, then Pashtun, Uzbek, Hazara will share the government(they have gained way to much in the government to give up on it all), then later seize Tajik dominated assuming they try to divide themselves.
Pashtun dominates west, south, east and have a big chunk in north. While Uzbek will be quite happy if Tajik marginalize themselves, since then Uzbek will take control of tajik dominated provinces in north. Hazaras are in central Afghanistan, surrounded by Pashtuns and Uzbeks, obviously they will not marginalize themselves from the government. So assuming there comes unrest in Afghanistan, the biggest losers will be Tajiks.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

Their internal differences pale in comparison with their hatred for Pashtuns. They have grievances that stem from centuries of discrimination by Pashtuns. In the case of Hazaras it was accompanied by mass slaughter.

TajiksUzbeksHazaras have NEVER allied themselves with Pashtuns in war. What makes you think that will change in the future?

And the world will not finance an Afghan government that engages in civil war. It would give the US a good reason to cut off the aid. Then the familiar scenario will play out: Pashtuns either flee to Pakistan or join the Taliban emirate (or both).

You're obviously the most retarded person who knows nothing about Afghanistan. Tajik as-s licked Pashtuns under the previous government. Where Tajik gained high posts and discriminated both Uzbek and Hazaras(trust me, I have many real stories regarding that, the way Tajiks discriminated). Uzbek and Hazara joined forces with Pashtuns several times when they got massacred by Massoud troops. Actually there is even videos of civilian Hazaras people crying over the indiscriminating massacre massoud troops did.
The ONLY times in the entire Afghan history where Uzbek, Hazara and Tajik joined forces was when Taliban emerge. Even then all ethnicities wanted to join Taliban, but only after all of them got refused, then they joined forces under northern alliance.

So basically, from the very beginning no one have had any bad blood with Pashtuns. And Tajiks did far more discrimination and massacres than Pashtuns. The difference between Tajik and Pashtun is, that Pashtuns have no bad blood with any other ethnicity. While Tajik and Uzbek hate each other to the death.

All this you would know if you knew even a little Afghan history. Since you don't even have basic history knowledge, you're pulling assumption out of your as-s.

I know you live in denial, but regardless of how much you tell yourself otherwise, the very facts wont change. You will see how things will turn out if Abdullah and Atta noor make a conflict out of this.

Abdullah got almost zero percentage of Uzbek votes. Hazara was neutral and was almost 50/50 with both candidates. So basically you guys are isolated if a conflict starts.

Tajiks are the biggest ethnicity in the security forces. Who will replace them, if their warlords tell their men to desert? Perhaps Dostum's gilam jam can be used again, but their numbers are too few to withstand a Taliban assault.

If civil war starts, Pashtuns will join the Taliban and the others join the Northern Alliance. Nobody will stay on the sinking ship of the Kabul government.

Firstly, Tajiks warlord have at maximum 10000 troops. The rest are ordinary people in the Afghan forces. Secondly, the Afghan force previous to 1980 got replaced fast after the war, so will the current force if needed to. There is 35000000 people in Afghanistan, replacing a few thousands will be a piece of cake.
Thirdly, people who are in the Afghan force are poor people who feeds themselves and their entire family from the payment. I highly doubt they will 'desert' because some fascist says so.
fourthly, the tajiks indeed have higher representation compared to their ethnic size, but it does not consist entirely by tajiks. Pashtuns, Hazara and Uzbek are more than 60 % of the force. So basically replacement will be almost instantly.

Tajiks are weaker then Pashtuns and thats the problem. This is also why tons of Pashtuns were settled in the north and west to fend of possible soviet and persian attacks because the locals were too weak to protect the borders themselves. Tajiks maybe the biggest force in the army along with hazara's, but the ANA has proven that they are beghirats like the Iraqi army that abandon post and aren't strong enough to fight the taliban on their own own after NATO leaves.

I don't like to blame ethnicity here, but it seems to be the main reason holding afghan security forces behind which is why more and more Pashtuns are joining the army to replace the kamzor tajjiks and hazaras. Pashtuns are the biggest ethnic group in Afghanistan and can easily replace minorities in the security forces.

Pashtuns are not reliable, that's why they represent only a small share in the elite units.

The Iraqi troops that fled before the ISIS were Sunnis or Kurds. Same thing will happen with Pashtuns, deserting or defecting to the enemy side.

The angry supporters of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah have reportedly torn down president Hamid Karzai’s poster in Loya Jirga hall in capital Kabul.
Several pictures showing the supporters of Dr. Abdullah tearing down president Karzai’s posters were circulated in social media websites.
Dr. Abdullah and his supporters accuse the government and electoral bodies for being involved in massive fraud during the second round of election.
The poster was torn down ahead of a gathering of gathering by Dr. Abdullah’s team in Loya Jirga hall on Tuesday morning.
Sporadic aerial firing were also reported late Monday night in parts of capital Kabul following the announcement of preliminary vote results.

No because panjsheri loving karzai has mostly tajiks installed in the government and you say "deserting" the enemy. If that is the case then, how come the taliban have never run from a battle with NATO forces?
