democracy can be as much a joke as dictatorship. the western standard of democracy seems to come with strings attached, example being the current hamas and fatah reconciliation initiative. one which has gotten nothing but a negative reaction from the west and isreal, naturally. so reviled is this potential of a unity government by israel that they launched deadly strikes in gaza which killed a few people in hopes of provoking islamic jihad to act against hamas in order for a future pretext of aggression.


i do not agree with the russian agression against ukraine, as allowing a fringe group left over by a colonial power to be able to decide the fate of a land where they occupied is injustice. if these kafir americans were to stay in kandahar airport for 100 years, they should have no say kandahar airport and the land around it being annexed to america.

I heard about this on NPR this morning while driving to work. I think even the reporter was amused at the utter hypocrisy of peace initiatives attempting to stop peaceful reconciliation of the two Palestine factions - her words amounted to something to the effect of how Netanyahu can sit there and talk peace and pretend to be working towards Israel looking for a viable partner for negotiations yet act so childishly in this regard.

Regarding the Ukraine issue, my point was merely the insults both sides are trading with one another being applicable to both sides yet they have no shame about leveling them.

In American eyes at least, the narrative goes something like this: Putin has masked man in the area that are actually Russian irregulars. Therefore anything that goes on is suspect - yet if similar logic is applied in Mali, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. regarding a foreign army being present invalidating a vote then what legitimizes these votes?

In the least if both sides are going to do stupid crap they can come up with more consistent ways criticisms that don't reflect poorly on themselves.

Pakistan will not allow the northern alliance govern Kabul, I think we must therefore scrap the votes and install a pro-Pakistan Pashtun as president. There are plenty of such candidates to choose from.

If the election was free and fair then there is no reason why would people oppose the win of double abdullah.
The people of afghanistan must stop this propaganda against eachothers.

pashtuns can say the same to tajiks bieng pupet of iran and abdullah its agent.Did,nt tajiks invited more then 35 nations to afghanistan to invade?
pashtuns are native to afghanistan and they have every right participate and rule.
You northreners must accept pashtuns and treat them like any other citizen of afghanistan.The Fascism of masoud style will lead you to another war.
pakistan and iran will support their men and this war will never end.

There is no need of northren allaince now.The people of afghanistan need one allaince for peace and stablity.
If you people continue your support for criminal warlords and talibs then this war will end up in partition.
pakistan and iran will keep their war on afghan soil untill you people separate from eachothers.
So the people of afghanistan need to trust eachothers and should lay down their arms and work for the unity and stablity of the country.
If the afghans formed unity govt and live in peace with eachothers then there is no need for this blame game.Your enemy will have no other choice but to change its policy.
