From the looks of this article Afghanistan is going to be "soft partitioned" It doesn't matter if Zalmai rassoul, Ashraf or Abdullah win. The warlords will control their own regions and the winner of the election will be so called a "president" of a divided warlord ruled country. Unless the warlords fight each other for further power Afghanistan will be a soft partitioned state. My opinion what do you think?????

If sher shah suri is considered pashtun then the ghorids are pashtun and then the pashtuns have been in afghanistan since the time of mahmud ghaznavi who also mentioned the pashtuns and alexander also mentioned the pashtun tribes of the yusufzai and afridi as living in mainland afghanistan when he invaded so pashtuns have been in afghanistan far, far longer than anyone else particularly tajiks even hazaras have probably been in afghanistan for as long as the tajiks have been in afghanistan.

Just give the uzbeks sheberghan its their land anyways.

Over my Pashtun dead body. Uzbek homeland is actually Mongolia and far away open landspaces in the far north/east near Russia-Mongolia. The thing is our Pashtun ancestors were a pride noble merciful people. They let people live inside our huge country because it didn't bother them. They didn't had visions for future troubles, like we have today with harami outsiders inside our borders.

Ramazan Bashardost is not a warlord he is anti-warlord anti-corrupt, he speaks both Dari and Pashto and works for all people of Afghanistan but warlords didn't let him get in politics this 2014 election.
