  • Pakistanis/Indians/Arabs (in US) and inferiority complex

Again, another question that should not be asked for sake of being politically correct. This question is only in reference to non-Pashtuns.

I notice that most American-Pakistani (Pakistanis and Indians grouped as one) men have married fair skinned women (a few have married European Americans straight up- non have married an African). There is no way that other people do not notice this.

Now I understand that an individual may have a certain preference, but when it is a pattern across a whole group- then what is the explanation.

Am I right to conclude that this is due to an inferiority complex?

Not sure why, but most men in the world do prefer lighter skinned women, even african men usually marry light skinned black women or white european women.

I think it has to do with perception of beauty that has been implanted in men all over for many generations

When I went to Sri Lanka once, I swear the women there were so beautiful, despite being really dark skinned

You found them beautiful because even tough they are dark they still have caucasoid look.

But it is not only this group, have you seen what Chinees Koreans and Japanees do? They not only run after white people, they even get plastic surgery to look like them. And not just a few, but almost every one who has enough money to do it....

And how many Indians/Arabs/Pakistanis have married there and how many of them you know that you are claiming all of them to be having Inferiority Complex.

They didn't look Caucasian, most of south asia is actually a mix Caucasian looking people and native south asian. Northern south asia is more Caucasian, but South india / Sri Lanka / Malidves is still more native south asians

When it comes to physical beauty, some are fascinated by mysteries and some find familiarity more desirable.
To a white man, the black woman is a mystery and to a black man, a white one. Simple as that.

I don't know, but I've always been attracted to Pakistani girls. The only time I was attracted to a white girl, she had black hair and wheatish complexion, so go figure.

Do you even know what inferiority complex means? It is when you look down upon yourself, low self-esteem etc.

Pakistanis (non-Pashtuns) do have some sort of inferiority complex, but not due to what you have mention. What kind of women one prefer could hardly be deemed as inferiority complex.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

You can say everybody suffers from some sort of inferiority complex. If you think the pashtun kids on this forum don't, then you are being intellectually dishonest.

Take for example the threads that running right now. Pashtun-Macedonian links/Are pashtuns lost tribes of Jews, ect. ect.

I think everybody suffers from it to a various degree.

Give me an example and show me a specific post that suggest Pashtuns suffers from ''inferiority complex''. Pashtuns are one of the few ethnicity who I in all honestly can say that they cannot suffer from these complexes, they are way to proud, religious and independence to do that.

It's funny when you think about it. I remember once having a laugh over this very sad fair and lovely ad about this girl who overhears her father say he wishes he had a son instead of her. Then she start applying this cream and becomes fair skinned and then all is well. She has redeemed herself. As a joke, I randomly asked this friend of mine if he wishes he was born fair. He is slightly darker than the typical Indian dark guys. And to my surprise, this expression comes over his face.. He didn't say anything and then in this very low tone, he says "it would have surely made life a lot easier". I was so disappointed and angry, I told him if I knew he was the type of person who preferred life easier, I wouldn't have even bothered engaging in a conversation with him. I know his family. They are all well educated people, just as he is. Very open minded and decent family... And then he is like "when I was in India, I would go to a store, ask for help and they would totally ignore me. Then I would ask for their supervisor in English and they would literally piss their pants". It's so easy for us to look down at someone for wishing they were not the color they are. But what do we know of a life time of being discriminated against for what we were born as. I am not saying one should be ashamed of what they are but not to be quick to judge. If they feel that way about themselves, it's because they have had a lifetime of people convincing them of being worth less. Can you imagine that??
O and while we are at it, afghans don't or may not be suffering from inferiority complex because we suffer from the opposite. The superiority complex. We are self deluded and that can be just as destructive to a person or a society if not more. At least in their case, the society commits a crime against them. With us, we commit it against the society. We have a lot more to be ashamed for.

It works both ways too. In Pakistan, guys with lighter skin get made fun of.

Have you seen the world today? You can't trust no one. 90 % of worlds population is weak to MONEY and Power, that they can sacrifice their children, brother, etc for these stuff. Those people who are stronger than money I salute to, and they have my deepest blessing.

Afghans are Afghans, because of the harsh and hard ways of life coming upon them. I mean if it not war against some foreign parasite, it is fights between clans, brothers, cousins etc since begging of time. And many of these fights always end up bloody.

But still, with all these fights, educated and mannered Pashtuns/Afghans are the most civilized people on this planet.
To Paradise, with Pakhto, I will go.
