Exactly right. The Afghan army and government is 100% Tajik (while they are only 3% of the population). but they only control the presidential palace, so their power is very limited.

Meanwhile, the taliban is 100% pashtun and also pro pakistan (win win)

So.. seems everything is tajik in afghanistan. And where are pashtuns? lol

Rabbani is chief of peace council. Ismael Khan is just afghanistan energy minister. Dadfar is pashtun. Head of NDS is a pashtun, Rahmatullah Nabil. Khorram, Zakhiwal, Wardk,.. all of them pashtuns.

ISI propaganda is trying to portray afghanistan as a "tajik dominated state" just because they wanna fool poor and uneducated pashtun people and use them as a tool against their own country. Obviously there are many tajiks everywhere after all most of educated and urban people in afghanistan belong to that ethnic group while most of pashtuns are rural people.

They are afghanistan,s citizens should be treated like anyother afghans but they look down up on pashtu and pashtuns.
They forced pashtun to learn farsi but they do,nt speak pashtu, why?

Dude, you have some mental issues, really bro. Take your medicine.

First you claim farsiwans make up majority of afghanistan then you go crazy because they have imposed their language and culture on pashtuns... despite pashtuns have ruled this country since its creation!! LOL

Pashtuns don't want the BSA to be signed, karzai is resisting from signing it thanks to hardcore tribal leaders who know its a bad idea. Its YOU tajiks and uzbeks who want the BSA to be a done deal because the panjsheris know when america leaves, pashtuns will deal with you watan forosh people and kick you back to tajikstan. Therefore you think america is your only hope to save you from us.

Pashtuns wanna sell afghanistan to Pakistan and tajiks wanna sell it to USA. Pick your side.

BTW i find damn hilarious how you are using words like "we", "us",... man, you are a just loser talking sh*t behind your screen. If you hate tajiks come on move to herat, kabul, parwan, panjshir, badakhshan or mazar and say those BS to them. But you won't because you are a coward. And you know it.

Nationalism is all about that: uniting people of the same heritage and language under one banner.

The nationalists who use "Pashtunwali" as the basis for their approach towards unifing the pashtun nation are absolutly right in what their goal is. They just lack the methods and the understanding of current world affairs, politics and economics to achieve what they want to achieve.
Pashtunwali is a set of code on how a society is governed with no government or authority.

First one must look at what is happening in Europe and study how Europe is adapting and shaping its future to stay on top and competitive. Nationalism is disappearing in Europe, they are thinking deeper and looking into the future as you should Mostafa. Paki nationalism, afghan nationalism or any nationalism is a disservice to its people. It is better to unite many people under one umbrella in a system that serves all. Afghans should understand this better than anyone else since it's misery is attributed to the fact that it was used as a buffer state, a boundary between competing powers. If Afghanistan wants to abolish its misery, It must break down this barrier and be used as a unifier in the region like it has in most of its peaceful history.

This can be done without sacrificing a people's language or culture. Farsi has been the lingua franca in the region for over a thousand years and thousands of languages have been preserved in south and central Asia during that time.

The Code itself is a guideline to rule sociaty.
The tribal leaders, arbaki and "white beards" govern the people by sometimes imposing penal codes and you know that.
You are misinterpreting Pashtunwali as a free-sociaty-semi-anarchistic thing and that has nothing to do with reality.

The national identities in Europe and everywhere else will not erode for the next 500 years. Identity is clearly not static but dynamic. European identity is created after WWII ended and those nations understood they have more in common but certain facts will always remain:
Southern Europe will never integrate because Greeks, Spaniards, Portuguese, Italians are somehow different than Germans or Dutch people.
                      The other point is:
Europe itself has three major separatist movements in Spain (Basques and Katalans), GB (Scotland) and France (Corsica).
These people want nation states for themselves!!

Your point that a union is better is definitly right!
I am with you in this point.
But unity can be implemented between equals and Afghanistan is not an equal to anyone but is regarded in Central Asia as a battlefield of interests.

IF Afghanistan can elevate itsel to a state where it can defend its interests well enough so that its neighbours respect it and dont interfere out of fear or economic interests THEN a union could be implemented.
                      The only constant is change.

Being a mix of Pashtun, Tajik, arab afghan (yes they exist) and Uzbeki I can say this thread is pretty disgusting. Lets leave ethnic differences and aim for a society based on Islam completely.

it seems like punjabis and tajiks has alot of similarities

Though Unity is the only option available for Afghanistan.

Be it pashtuns, tajiks, uzbeks or hazara. All of them should be first the People of Afghanistan and only than they should think of their ethnicites
