  • Why have Tajiks always supported foreigners ?

To be politically correct would mean not to ask a question that is relevant.

If you go back to even the time of the Mongol, Greek, and Persian wars in Afghanistan, the Tajiks (and their predecessors- the Soghdians) always supported the foreigners whereas the Pashtuns fought to the death, dealing defeat, after struggling to attain it.

What is the reason that Tajiks have mostly always supported foreigners?

Because they don't want to be dominated by Pashtuns, they think that by siding with foreign invaders they will get power, but most of the time they loose even more.

Like after the English Pashtun dominated everything, the only thing that was left off Tajiks is that Afghanistan used Dari as the language of the goverment and business and that only in Kabul and north, but still all the money wealth army etc. was in Pashtun hands.

After the Russian, Tajiks tought they gona get to rule Afghanistan, but they failed even more. Pashtun took over again and this time they even banned Dari langauge from the goverment.

This time when US leaves, and Pashtuns will again take over. And everything will be again in Pashtuns hands, Tajiks like always are going to be the bigest losers. But this time there will be an end to their degenerate culture once and for all. I only hope that the Pashtuns that will take over are not going to kill all of them, becuase our image is already pretty bad....

I appreciate your honest and raw analysis, but few would have gone so far to speak the raw truth because it is not politically correct to state it.

Pashtuns are supposed to talk about unity among all ethnic groups while being the focus of a conflict!! Pashtuns are supposed to not talk about Pashtun unity because it is divisive- this while the Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbeks and Punjabis in Pakistan sit in peace and watch Pashtuns die, even cheer it on saying Pashtuns are terrorists.

Now- Im not saying all of them do this- but enough do to make it a general perception I have.

No one should kill no one. But Pashtuns in powers needs to obtain a policy that makes the minority TRULY MINORITY. I mean a child policy towards Pashtuns that must make them 95 % of population in just few decades. I think its our time that we secure Pashtun future for ever and we need these figures 95 % ethnicity in our region and in the future 60 % rise in the neighbouring countries. Let the minority live on parties, be movie stars, we should increase our figures, and the nature will the do rest.

In Turkey, kurds are fighting their war against the turks with becoming the majority in the country. Some Kurdish leader said, we don't need to wage war against Turkish army, when our numbers in the country will do that for us.

I rather have a Pashtun boss, Pashtun dictator and slave under Pashtun society than in some foreign country, be a doctor, engineer, or rich/wealthy.
To Paradise, with Pakhto, I will go.

Tajiks are not all one a d the same people. There are many ethnicities mixed into one major group.

But the core group, the ethnic Persians, they have a history of moral corruption.

Groups not happy with their status in the status quo will not fight to maintain or reestablish that status quo when foreigners disrupt the system.

Same goes for Pashtuns, while there has always been legitimate Pashtun resistance when foreigners have shaken things up the puppets and the elite have usually been Pashtun as well.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

People often forget this painful reality. A pashtun nationalist recently told me Karzai is not a Pashtun. He just pretends to be one.

I love that kind of reasoning, its so typical.

Unlike religion which has established rules of what makes someone a believer, ethnicity doesn't work that way. Najib, Karzai, Shah Shuja and all the others are as Pashtun as the people who fight them. Ethnic nationalism just leads to disappointment and shattered dreams.

Some nations have particular character. Like tajiks, punjabis have never resisted foriegn invasions...they were the most loyal people to british raj.
On the other hand their neighbours rajputs of rajputana/rajasthan have always resisted muslim invasions and were mostly independent during muslim rule.
When anti-muslim sikhs started occupying muslim areas of punjab, they didnt offer any resistance. When they realized that afghans are in no position to rule punjab any longer, they switched their loyalties to sikhs....

The fact is Karzai is the public face of what essentially is a Tajik set up/show in Kabul. The ANA is comprised of mostly Tajiks. The NDS is mostly Tajiks. The head of the security apparatus is a Tajik - Mohammadi. The main militias in the North that welcomed the US/NATO war and Pakistan support for it- were Tajiks (Ismail Khan, Rabbani, etc).

The main main who is desperately trying to get the BSA signed is Dadfar- another Tajik.

In Islam we have books about the nullifiers of Islam based on Quranic verses and authentic ahadeeth. But Pashtun Nationalists have their own unwritten nullifiers of Pashtunwali. Main nullfier being: if you disagree with whatever I believe to be the truth, you are no longer a Pashtun.

Pashtuns always either start a fight or invite other powers into Afghanistan:
                            - British were helped into Afghanistan by various Pashtun tribes, on both sides of the Durand border.
                            - The Soviets were invited by Pashtun elites.
                            - The Americans came to Afghanistan because the Taliban would not hand over Osama.

Now you expect others to clean the mess that Pashtuns started?
