  • To Afghans

To all Afghans I will kindly ask to give Pakistani Pashtun a break. You guys are like leaches clinging to them, while the Pakistanis keep removing you.

    To make it clear

    - There will never be a loy Afghanistan unless a major war happens which changing effect on regional powers.
    - There will never be a Pashtunistan because Pashtun in Pakistan are proudly announce themselves as Pakistanis.

I am not saying you shouldn't support or be in favor of Pashtun unity, I myself am. I simply asking you guys to stop with the uncle tom complexion. There is a few Pakistani Pashtuns in this forum and they have insulted Afghans whenever they had a chance. They have insulted Afghanistan and have made it quite clear that they see Afghans as inferior.

In all honestly I think Punjabis (yes, the one we hate so much) have less against us. I bet if you go to Punjab, you still be called Pathan regardless of the country. Yet as many Pakistani Pashtuns have explained, we are called Kabulis (in a negative light) in Pashtun dominated areas of Pakistan. Their police taking bribe from us, beating us and imprison us.

Yet you guys, for the sake of Pakistanis have gone so far and started to insult our kings, our leaders and our people.

We have been separated way to long and now have different culture. The words we loan is also from different source. Even more importantly our political view is to different, to even compromise.

I honestly think beside the language, we have more in common with the farsiwans from Afghanistan than Pashtuns from Pakistan. Even if we assume we don't, then our future is together with them. We live together with them in the same country, and we cannot make our Afghanistan prosper if we keep fighting.

So focus on building Afghanistan and have your priorities right. It is fine to support Pashtun unity, but it is plain wrong to be obsesses with it.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

This Loy Awghanistan is just a dream that will never come true. I once was a strong supporter of Loy Awghanistan but now I see that this people are more loyal to Pakistan than Djinnah himself.

As OP said, we must fight for unity in our own country. Our country is at the edge of partition. I think our country never has been so divided like today, not even during civil war. We, pashtuns, as "big brothers" should take first step and bring together all our countrymen/women regardless their ethnic or religious background.

from what i have been observing, there are two types of pashtuns beyond the durrand line for me. there are those who are perfectly alright with being referred to as pakistanies and what to have nothing to do with afghanistan and then there are the type who are convinced that pashtu and pashtuns in afghanistan are being discriminated against and are as oppressed in afghanistan as they are in pakistan. they want to somehow magically unit all pashtuns and get rid of every other ethnic group in afghanistan because they assume we feel about these groups the way they feel about the non pashtuns in pakistan. these are the people who have gathered the attention of a few morons on our side and are stirring so much trouble these days. therefore, loy afghanistan or pakhtunkhuwa, not happening. a war amongst these morons and the rest of afghans might happen but loy pakhtunkhuwa, not happening. an afghan pahtun is a brother to an uzbak, a tajik and a hazara. you want to be a brother to all of them, welcome to afghanistan. if not, don't bother.
as is the case with my father, i too, am not going to pretend to be upset over this fact. pashtuns can unite all they want. if they don't learn to be peaceful and fair amongst each other, they are not going to last long.

There is no ''big brother'' in a country. If long term peace and prosperity is to be archived, then all ethnicities in Afghanistan should work toward the goal.

At first I thought you were progressive person, but time to time you're proving me wrong. You seem to have an idea that all the burden and blame is on Pashtuns shoulders. If you want a progressive Afghanistan then these kind of mentalities should be eradicated.

Partition is something that will never be. Those are wet dreams of fascist people.

Since pashtuns claim to be "real afghans", that makes us "big brothers". We as "real afghans" should take the first step. Pashtuns are main victims. They are suffering more than any other ethnic group in afghanistan. We have no schools, no roads, no hospitals, no technology, no leaders,.. we die every due to american, paki and afghan bombings, our kids are starving, our women are not even considered as human beings. The blame is on pashtun shoulders of course. We have what we deserve because we are too belligerent. We must change our warrior mentality.

Every ethnic group has suffered in afghanistan but pashtuns a bit more. You know this is true.

On partition i do agree. That will never happen because we are too mixed. But if talibans take over south and east afghansitan that will mean a partition de facto. So far has been proved that talibans are undefeateable in those provinces.

you confuse cause with effect .

its quiet funny but also sad , to see so many lost and ignorant people on this board.

some say afghan and pashtun is not a synonym , questioning that pasthuns are the majority in afghanistan .

some denie their cultural identity at all and are "just "muslims

others are so insecure that they have to seek their roots in obscure gentesting , just they dont have to be called afghans or pashtuns

some make them self comfortable in the victim role , without knowing the history and blending out the present .

others who are not born in afghanistan or to afghan partents and yes afghan means pashtun . talk in highly scholary tones about historical events as if they have witnessed it . even though their own families left the country before those events took place or happend . talking the usual nonsence .

but still they keep their european ,americans , or others foreign citizenships in their pocket not questioning the historical role ,culture or even nationhood .

Wa wrora, do you think I was born yesterday? You cannot fool me with empty slogans or exaggerated realities.

You yourself said that Pashtuns are the main victims, which makes the burden of peace on other ethnicities.

You clearly have never been to Jalalabad, Kandahar, Helmand etc. You will see schools, roads and a natural beauty that have never been seen before. We are no doubt the main victims of the war, but you seems to ignore Pashtuns ''elites'' as well. We have quite a big bite of the political cake, so don't go around ignore the facts as you usually do. So for the love of god stop your inferiority complex, that one of the things that I whole heartily hate.

If Taliban take control of the south and east, then there isn't long way to north and east. It isn't for fun Americans want bases in south and east.

But do you really think when we have the power, we should let some brainwashed people take the lands of our ancestors, all the resources and that those rich lands have, that can make our future Pashtuns wealthier and give better prosperity for them? It is about your kids, mine kids, all Pashtuns future children. Our families, ancestors who died to protect our Pashtun soil for nothing? If people feel pakistani, they can go to Punjab and suck musharrafs black ****. Truth is, Baloch want independence, Kashmir wants independence, all human being with 30 % honour and morals in them want independence.

I can say this, I will never give up our unity and our lands.

We have an ongoing and unfinished war in afghanistan and this guy wanna start another one against pakistani and iranian states in order to take back an empire founded by ahmad shah durrani (which by the way collapsed in few decades after his death).

Brother me, you and probably a few others know that Pashtun will be the benefiters if we are united. The problem isn't about the benefits, but the loyalty. There is more than 30 million Pashtuns in Pakistan and they are proud Pakistanis. There is no way we can have or be able to get an entire generation under our ''control''.

I am not saying we should abandon our support for unified Pashtun, all I am saying is we shouldn't be obsessed with it. I am myself a big supporter of unified Pashtuns. The problem is getting united isn't in Afghans control, but in Pakistani Pashtuns control. Even PMAP leader (a great pashtun) said himself; that for Pashtuns to be united, Pakistani Pashtuns need to ''clear'' the path for Afghans. So one day when Afghanistan is ready, Pashtuns in Pakistan will be ready to unite politically. For now all Afghanistan can do is refusing signing the durand line, the rest is up to Pakistani Pashtuns.

What we need to do right now is setting our priorities right. First of all we need to archive peace in Afghanistan. Thereafter focus on education and poverty. Then we need to boost our economy and military, first after that we can turn focus on other things.

The problem with Afghans is their delusions. First of all Taliban isn't the problem, the war in south is. Taliban happens to be a part of the war. You need to understand entire Afghanistan is conservative. Conservatism isn't only limited to Talibans, the north is as conservative as the south. The difference is that north isn't at war and therefor logically more peaceful. The little development that happens in north is solely due to peace.

What we need to do is make peace in the country without cutting international assistance.
