Identity crisis of Shamlawar Khurasani
For silent readers who don't know, Shamlawar Khurasani was a former secular Pashtun nationalist (and he still has some legacy of that tribalism), partying, drinking and fornicating in Holland. He then seemed to have gone through some identity crisis and turned to Wahabism for the answer.
I am not sure if Khurasani was ever an atheist at any point, but he was a secularist, and if he ever was an atheist then the following applies:
Shamlawar v.1 and Shamlawar v.2
According to the new 2015 version of Shamlawar Khurasani, the old Shamlawar Khurasani i.e. version 1 would have had to be killed for being an atheist, i.e. he would have been a Kafir and "murtad".
Sham 1 = Shamlawar Khurasani v.1 (2000)
Sham 2 = Shamlawar Khurasani v.2 (2015)

JEDDAH: The rate of anxiety in Saudi society is on the rise, warn psychologists, with most cases not requiring intervention of drugs due to being linked to daily activities.
Common driving factors of such anxiety include debt and associated concerns, as well as the stresses associated with social and economic life.
According to Dr. Mohammed Al-Hamed, consultant psychologist, anxiety has reached as high as 80 percent in Saudi society, and is defined as tension and concern linked to the mind’s constant preoccupation with daily events. Symptoms may also include lack of concentration, sleep disturbance fatigue, and feelings of unease and instability.
He said the best way of eliminating such anxiety is the acceptance and satisfaction of fate and faith in God, positive thinking, patience and remembering God. In the case of continued anxiety, patients should visit with a psychologist for necessary treatment.
Consultant psychologist Dr. Abubakr Banaama agrees, noting that “increasing financial commitments and social obligations may have tremendous impact on the individual and impose challenges on daily life, in turn increasing stress.”
He urged individuals to take an organized, responsible and routine approach to life, as most people put themselves in financial dilemmas to keep up with life’s extravagant obligations, only to find themselves unable to meet payments.
If Wahabism and Arabism is the "answer" as per Shamlawar Khurasani v.2 (2015 model) then why this?
For Wahabis non-Muslim westerners are inferior, evil, lowly people and they look down on them. However there are countries poorer than Saudi Arabia, the richest state in the Arab world and they do not have this level of anxiety.
I personally do not wish for Saudis or anyone to suffer from anxiety, as Islam came as "rahmah" (mercy) as per the Quranic verse describing holy prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as "rahmatul lil 'aalameen" (mercy to the worlds), and as true Muslims (Wahabi fanatics like Shamlawar Khurasani are excluded from that) we wish the best for all.
Shamlawar Khurasani like other Wahabis believes Arabs are superior to non-Arab Muslims and strives to be Arab and to promote Arabism, and he is anti-Afghan and anti-Pashtun.
However the reality is Arabs are normal people, with their weaknesses and strengths, just as Pashtuns, Malays, Bengalis, Turks are.
However the Wahabism model that Shamlawar Khurasani advocates has resulted in:
- A society with 80% anxiety
- A state 5 years away from financial collapse
- A failed war in Yemen against the poorest state in the Arab world
- A lazy society with millions of de facto slave workers who are regularly beaten, abused and even killed.
Wahabism has failed.
Bin Baz, the former Mufti of Saudi declared as the greatest scholar of his time back then by Wahabis/Salafis.
