Western countries are in decline. European countries can not even been taken seriously. Compared modern UK with UK of 50 years ago. Strongest Western country is USA and their aggressive foreign policy failed in the Islamic world. You see right now the main players in the conflict of the ME are region countries such as Iran, KSA, Russia and Turkey? You don't need Arabic in order to weaken them or get rid of them. Looming multipolar world.

Many people still stuck in the old colonial mentality. Truth is West is not that evil now. You and me as Muslims and originally non Westerners citizens enjoy of the same rights than any other European citizen. This is something I really appreciate. There is so much we can learn from them.

Keep your Tajik chinky eyed Mongol nationalism to yourself.

Muhammad SAW saw all races and ethnicities as one, he didn't distinguish in a discriminatory manner between a white, black or Arab person. He didn't want Arabia to be the centre of the world, and if you think that he did want it to be "the centre of the world" I would love to see Hadith that prove this by sending them to me.

If Prophet Muhammad would read how you insult a person by making fun of his eyes and Mongoloid features, would he approve it?

Arabs back then were a bunch of greedy uneducated tribal fools, 24/7 fighting and killing each other. Not much different than Pashtuns today. Prophet Muhammad brought them together, he gave them a powerful ideological tool for their expansion and they were able to defeat the strongest nations. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Muhammad. It does not matter if blacks or Persians fought along him. Still does not change this fact: Muhammad loved Arabia and wanted it to become the center of the world.

Abu Muslim Khorasani was killed because he was too powerful and famous. He could represent a trouble for Abbasids in the future. Obviously the guy was some sort of Persian nationalist after all many Persian nationalist claimed to be a descendent of him after his death: Babak Khorramdim, Sundpadh and Muqanna (both Khorasanis) and so on.

During Abbasids most of the Islamic Ummah left the Caliphate. Khorasan, Modern Morocco, Tunisia and Mauritania, Spain,.. little by little they Caliphs lost all their power and became puppets of their own Turkish slaves. Of course still they were considered spiritual leaders by most of Muslims but they had no de fact power over most of the Islamic world.

Based on what you have written it seems you're making a very internally inconsistent argument and more over quite anarchronistic. Arab Nationalism hinges on the idea of Arab Centirism, thus for Prophet Muhammad(saw) to present a religion that was contrary to the Norms of the Arabs of his time would make the claim completely illogical. The reason being is that it would be complete antithetical to purveying the cause of Arabs by being in conflict with the Arabs and their ideals.

Furthermore your argument hinges on the the reference you cited, which we have already established is largely inconclusive, for reasons we've already established, To respond back using the same line of argument against the counter response falls within the notion of circular reasoning. Not only we do we not know the authenticity and weight of the citation in question; but the cittation in question does not tell us anything other than having friendly terms with Arabs. The focus on the Ka'aba is theological in nature, and Abraham and Ismaili were NOT Arabs, so the theological argument holds more weight since it's been demonstrably falsified by the fact hat the Qibla being the Ka'abah does not exclusively associate with Arabs.

Saying "It does not matter if he had Non-Arabs support him" is hand waving over inconvenient facts that weaken your narrative. One way we can see how this MATTERS a lot is by building a Predictive Model. If Islam was abouit Arab Interests or Arab Nationalism. Then It would feature and focus Exclusively on Arabs. Arabs would have the predominant focus, Non-Arabs would be sidelined and underscored.

            However

A.) Non-Arabs were not only involved they had SIGNIFICANt Roles, in some cases Having Command over people who were ethnically Arabs.

B.) Authentically accepted references say things like "An Arab is not better than a Non-Arab, nor is a Non-Arab better than an Arab, except in Piety

C.) Prophet Muhammad(saw) himself had Non-Arab origins which is openly detailed in most Genealogical literature. If Islam was trying to propagate Arabs over others, this information would be witheld

These only a handful of reasons that would make teh argument faulty. Buit with that said. the Stress on Arabic language, the focus on the Ka'aba for prayer and statements suggesting having good relations with Arabs, when brought into context with all the other available evidence Reveall that these statements have little to do with Arab Nationalism, and simply to do with Human Relations between Arabs and Non-Arabs and Theological underpinnings with regards to Theological concerns.

About Abu Muslim Khursani,l exactly he was killed for being Powerful, and a potential threat, Just as Al Mansur had Abu Muslim Khurasani kill Al-Mansur's uncle, Abdullah ibn Ali who was also a threat. So your remark was largely a moot point. Irrelevant. The fact that Persian Nationalists claim to be his descendants would not prove Abu Muslim was a Persian Nationalist, because it's another Anachronism. Saying things like "I Love the Persian language and culture" would not conclude being a Persian Nationalism.

In the same way Pashtun Nationalists claim Ahmad Shah Abdali as a "Pashtun Nationalist" because they want to ride the coattails of his fame and accomplishments. But he was in service of Nadir Shah Qoli, Had Qizilbash elite guard and enlisted Uzbek , Baloch and Tajik Chieftans. In other words your argument is pardon me for saying this ....very flimsy and poorly thought out.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Well brother, spot on. You owned me. I will give you that.

Its pretty obvious we will never agree 100%. You have made plenty of good points so I will reconsider my stances about Islam being an Arab nationalist movement.

              • I think it would be better if Farsi became the official language of the entire Muslim world, let's be honest the most superior moslims were Farsi speakers. Those Farsi speakers made the Caliphate what it was.

Arabic is too unscientific a language. Farsi is superior to Arabic. Arabic also sound very harsh and unattractive language. Everytime I hear Arabs speak, it's like they are trying to insult each other. ''Yala yala''...Arabic is very unnatractive language. Farsi sounds more inteligent a language. By Farsi I mean Afghan Dari language as it's sounds superior to the feminine version they speak in Iran and is the original version of Farsi. Iranian Farsi is a *******ized version of the noble language of ancient Iranic peoples that luckily is still spoken in Afghanistan today.

But he is right. Unlike Pashtuns Persians have contributed more to Islam than any other ethnic group in Islamic history. Where are Pashtun contributions to Islam? nothing but suicide bombs and terrorism.

                    • Algeria's identity debate over adopting French teaching

                      27 July 2016

Language has remained a politically sensitive subject in Algeria
A debate in Algeria about plans to switch to teaching science in the French language is raising arguments about the country's cultural identity.
Education minister Nouria Benghebrit has suggested that teaching in French could improve students' results.

Universities in Algeria teach science in French, but schools teach in Arabic.
There have been concerns that students face a language barrier when they are taught in French at university, with many failing in their first year.
But opponents of such a change have argued that this would damage the identity of the North African country's Arab majority.
The plans have suggested that maths, physics and natural science subjects in secondary schools should be taught in French.
The intention would be to make a smoother transition to French-speaking university courses. It could make it easier for students, who at home might speak dialects of Arabic or Berber, and who might struggle to switch to French when they reach higher education.
But opponents of changing to French have criticised a "divorce from identity" which would disconnect young people from their cultural roots.
There have been suggestions that universities should switch to Arabic, rather than schools switch to French. There have been other calls that English should be adopted as a more widely used international language of science.
The controversy over language has stirred arguments about the relationship between Algeria and France, the former colonial power.
Even though Arabic is the official language of Algeria, universities are still teaching courses in French, more than 50 years after independence.

Algeria's identity debate over adopting French teaching - BBC News

                      1. Algeria should follow Morocco's lead and start the process of de-Gallicization and adopt the world's global language, English, in tertiary level education.

English dominates world commerce, IT, engineering and is the language of technology, modernity and communication.

The French culturally, mentally and linguistically are backwards and inferior.

                      2. We have Arab nationalists, Yemeni nationalists, Arab ethno-supremacists, Pashtun-haters, racists, Wahabis and others here trying to promote their Arab nationalist/ethno-supremacist ideology.

However in the real world countries like Algeria (2nd biggest country in the Arab world and territorially the biggest) know that Arab nationalism/Wahabism will lead them nowhere.

Arab nationalism & Wahabism are failed ideologies.

As an Afghan I must say he is right about the Afghan government: its a corrupt, shameless, brutal and disgusting fascist government imposed on us by our American "liberators". The best option for our country is to bring those Taliban who are patriots into the government and reform it. Create a state that represents our people, our identity, our culture and our faith.

Anyway its an Afghan internal issue. A Bangladeshi has no right to lecture us about the way we want to rule ourselves.
