  • Cleaning Operations

With international combat troops preparing to withdraw by the end of 2014, Afghan forces in recent month have made significant progress in their ability to defend against Taliban attacks, especially in areas that have been a focus for insurgent activities. According to the Interior Ministry’s Press Office, Afghan security forces launched cleaning operations in relevant areas of Kunduz, Kapisa, Balkh, Urozgan, and Maidan Wardak provinces. Today Afghan media reported that 27 armed Taliban were killed and 11 wounded during the cleaning operations by Afghan security forces. In addition, they also seized a quantity of heavy and light weapons and discovered and defused 7 mines from relevant areas of Laghman, Takhar, Kandahar, Urozgan, and Heart provinces. This is a clear demonstration of their success and combat capabilities as they face many challenges to provide security for their people and their nation.

How would you evaluate the success of the ANSF?

Aghanistan army doesnot stand any chance of holding up against Taliban once americans leave. Even americans cann't deal with taliban, what do you expect from ANF, be realistic.

Killing afghans is considered "cleaning" to centcom.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

              Dear Hallo,

Ohhhh reminding me of Bacha Bazi, your brothers the Taliban are into that dirty business. For more information click on the first link.
Furthermore, I have another link for you to read a report about Taliban Buying children for suicide attacks. I think you and your Taliban brothers are into buying and selling innocent children.
Have you forgotten that you wrote to us and you were sick and tired of promoting the Taliban interest and wanted to switch sides for a few dollars and be on our side?
I would be more than happy to resolve any other issues you may have.

                  Randolph85,

I am not sure why you blame everything on CENTCOM? Let me clarify, this post is not about CENTCOM or what CENTCOM considers. This is about the Afghan National Army, 350,000 men strong, risking their lives every day to protect their countrymen. This is about ordinary Afghans who do not want the Taliban to burn their schools and kill their women and children with suicide attacks and roadside bombings. This is about Afghans taking charge of their towns and villages, saying no to those who terrorize them. And, yes, they do work with their local police and national security forces to clear their areas from the Taliban. If you are still not convinced that this is what Afghans want, taking charge of their country, then please watch the clips below and hear what Afghans themselves have to say in their own words about what they want. Hope this will clarify your confusion.

This link is a reminder of what the insurgents do on a daily basis throughout Afghanistan…

If by dieting you starve to death and all White people also die with you, then I will be the happiest person in the world!

Trust me if they could they would defeat taliban (afghan ones). But they are unable to do that. Americans are not gods, everyone is human and has weaknesses. No human knows it all.

"Bascha Bazi" and "Financial Corruption" is the most thrown around acquisition in Pakistan and Afghanistan.. If we look at it from religeous point of view (In case of bacha bazi): how are we sure? espcially in a macho cultures such as Aghani and Pakistani?.. In case of looking at it from western angle: its not a big deal, i think financial corruption would be a bigger deal. Plus we all knw in the back of our minds that it is only stereo typing.
