I know what I'm talking about because I'm backing everything with proof. Do you know what you are talking about? 4000 year old history doesn't necessarily mean "afghan history". 4000 year old history in the sense that recorded history tells us that an early civilization existed in the land which is now called Afghanistan. If you are going to spit more crap, make sure you use proper grammer, I'm stuck on your words.

And for your information encyclopedia britanica is a very reliable source unlike what you gave us proof regarding "afghan" being a persian word from places like the free wikipedia.

Its so funny that this trolls are so obsessd with the name Afghan, when there own name "Persia" was used by the Greeks first. The greeks named this ****heads like that. Originaly it derives from one province Fars, but the peopel in acnient times called there region Iran and never Persia..... And now he brags here about how there dum peopel who couldn't even write properly say that they named Pashtuns Afghan and that it is a persian word. LOL

And persian culture had its high piek only when it was conquered by Arabs, prior to that this "persians"looked down on writing and reading.

Pathans shoul learn pashto. The fact that they are unable to speak proper pashto is the sufficient to excommunicate them from pashtunwali. You are not pashtunsm you arr pathans. Just like kabuli pathans. They claim to be pashtun but they speak only farsi.

When that part of your identity is strong, Farsi and Urdu are not worth getting upset about.

As for Farsi, it is a developed, well established language, both in terms of literature and politics and has influenced many languages and cultures in the region, including Urdu which in its purest form borrows -according to some estimations - close to 60% of its vocabulary from Farsi anyway.

Now i know that afghan pashtuns use afghan terms or most precisely ethnic afghan term for pashtuns and when pak pashtuns dont accept this term u call them Urdu ghulam but when pak pashtuns reply that u afghan pashtuns urselves are heavly influenced by persian, alot of of afghans deny it .
Now if i come to the real point the word afghan itself is a persian word and persians use to say it to anything related to pashtuns in the past(just befroe tajiks hazara and uzbek became afghans too).. pashtuns in afghanistan have even given a name(afghanistan) to their country on basis of persian language. Now i just wanted to ask so when indians use to call pashtuns pathans why u guys hate the word pathan but not hate the word afghan which is given by persians..
secondly dont u think that afghan pashtuns have been heavily influenced by farsi culture? and afghan pashtuns should not say things like urdu ghulam to pakistan pashtuns and not hate the word pathan too..

Before anybody answers its my humble rrequest that its just a question that came in my mind i dont mean to offend anybody
                        Thankyou

You as a Pakistani-fathans cannot complete a single sentence in your national language of Urdu without using Farsi yet…?

Go educate yourself… the word Afghan comes from the Sanskrit root of ashv meaning ‘horse’, which becomes asp in Farsi. The genetic term for these horsemen was Ashvaka in Sanskrit and Aspagan in Persian. Their country was where the usual mode of transportation was the horse, perhaps more so than in ancient Persia…thus Aspaganistan in old Persian…become Afghanistan.

pakistan history is vvvvv old, its soo vvvv old that even gypsies eat mangoes and eat pakistan in gypsy land and they like butterflys.

afghanistan will eat pakistan and it will come gypsy so u can enjoy it, ok?

Troll away dude. Afghanistan still existed even in the 1600. The word Afghanistan itself is an ancient term and the word existed a long time ago. Pakistan is not an acient term refereing to todays "Pakistan". It's a made up word by Muslim indians. Afghanistan has ancient history while Pakistan has no history. The land which is called: "Pakistan" was not called "Pakistan" a long time ago. Pakistan is a newly created term and "Pakis" is a newly created term made up by: "Indians who happen to be converted muslims". While the world Afghanistan existed even in ancient history. Afghanistan had many empires and the word itself is ancient. Afghanistan is called the graveyard of empires, Afghanistan is vvvvvvv old. Older than your newly created: "Pakistan". Because a hundred years ago Pakistan did not existed. But Afghanistan did, and it existed way beyond you can possibly imagine.
