not really, they wrote it down and that particular written material survived and discovered, it does not mean they used it for the first time. you sure like to twist things.

The Europeans wrote down Ojibwa for the first time but that does not mean Europeans gave that name to the Ojibwa tribe, the Ojibwa tribe called themselves that. Afghan is a persian word. THe correct term in pashto is "awghan". "afghanistan"=land of afghans in farsi.

To be honest, pashtuns have been heavily influenced by farsi culture. After all, persian culture is one of the greatest cultures in human history, while pashto culture is tribal and has no real cultural history. In afghanistan most of educated pashtuns are persianspeakers. They eat our food, speak our language, live in our cities, behave like us,..etc

Beche khale, my father is a tajik from chahar mahal, shindand/sabzawar distric. My mother is a tajik half from zekin (Farah) and half from chaqcharan (ghor).
