Bottom line, Most Pashtuns have acquired the Pakistani way of life and have forgotten their old Afghan culture.
So which cultural thing I as a Pakistani Pakhtun forgot according to you?

We do speak Urdu with those who don't understand Pakhtu. Just like you speak English with those who don't understand your language in the west. If there is a guy who is a Sindhi for example and doesn't understand Pakhtu than we speak Urdu. I never spoke Urdu with anyone who understood Pakhtu or was a Pakhtun. I have met Esap Zai and Yousufzai Pakhtun of this forum. Both of them belongs to Pakistan and we always talked in Pakhtu and didn't use Urdu.

    Agree.

How? Like look at me in my avatar according to you I look like a Paki and not a Pakhtun?

So if someone lives in Karachi and Lahore they are culturally absorbed and destroyed according to you? What about those who live in the west than? For a Pakhtun to be good and cultural according to you he must be living in Quetta, KPK and Afghanistan only?

I don't know. There might be many many cultural things. Do you think your mixed culture is as same as the one they practice in Afghanistan? There would be millions of difference of how you live your life according to pashtun culture than a full blooded pashtun living in Afghanistan. His native land.

You don't. I was talking generally. The more pashtuns live and reside in Sindh or Panjab. The more culturally absorbed they will be. After decades and decades of living in Sindh and Panjab, there will be millions of mixed marriages and millions of tradition and culture exchanges. And culture/tradition will completely lost.

Yes. You just proved your own point. If I live in west I wouldn't absorb their culture "quickly" as I've just come out of my native land. But my offspring who have been born in west will most likely attain the western culture because they were born their and have been more influenced by western culture than back in their native country. it's because they have never been to their native country to learn about their native roots, they will always follow westerns and their children will most likely be western as well.

      • Pashtun culture is not a written code of conduct. There are many things which are termed as Pashtun culture which are wrong for example 'Swara' etc etc.

So what actually you are recommending is that we should not live in anyother place but our own land to preserve our culture and heritage. We should bycot the rest of the world as if we will start living somewhere else like Lahore etc than we will be destroying our culture?

And lastly If I don't than so are the rest of the Pakhtuns here they look like Pakhtuns and they will treat you like Pakhtuns so stop generalising people. We live here for many reasons some for education some for a piece of bread with out own identity of being a Pakhtun and we sincerely don't need you to term us 'culturally destroyed' neither do we need you to tell us that we don't look like Pakhtuns.

Though I agree to the part that when we go out and live within other people we loose our own things but than again it's upto us to loose it entirely and to stick to it. We have a choice. For example I know a Punjabi family next to my house here. They speak Punjabi within their brothers but when they talk to their kids they speak Urdu only. So it's our own choice at the end of the day.

        • whats in a name?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Kushan Prince told me that you're too light skinned to be Pakistani, might actually be a Pashtun.

Unless there are more than 10 million pashtuns living in places like Russia, then of course pashtuns will culturally absorb the Russian way of life. But this won't be true if only 2-3 pashtuns live in Russia. They will always disassociate themselves to the Russians.

Do you live in the west? Where do you live?

              1) International Language
              2) Everyone should speak it
              3) The language of literature No, the language of technology
              4) The whole internet is basaed on English
              5) English doesnt specifically has a culture
              6) English is a communicating language and more than 1 country speaks it.

This is not even relevant. This is as dumb as saying you should have a "Pashtun hairstyle". There is no such thing as a Pashtun hairstyle or western hairstyle.

You styled it that way so that hallo would become infatuated with you
