Because we speak the truth and the truth bites you badly. Because you dont care for those hundred of innocent children killed in drone attacks and Afghanistan. Why not a single child from them was given such high level treatment, protocole and coverage because those innocent childrens' fathers were not serving for pak army, pak sarzameen shad bad and some western secular ideology.
    Good luck Toramana

Thank you for confirming what I have been saying. The more you talk, the more you validate what was written. I think Afghans have become more cognizant that those who claim to be friends, in any vein, whether they live by the title "Pashtun nationalist" or not, might as well be wolves in sheeps clothing.

Nice try, Toramana said the same exact inaccuracies. You cannot explain away the Farhat Taj Andersen links that are posted by her own group, not a militant group or any pro militant outfit, unless we can go ahead and classify AIRRA as militant secularist which I would be fine with.

Moreover, their affiliations are not stated by Pakistani or other central/south asian pro militant organizations... it is the marxists themselves that disseminated the imagery:

        http://www.marxist.com/imt-sympathiser-shot-in-swat.htm

The marxist article, written Alan Woods, lays claim to their membership.

"The school was attended by more than 225 comrades from all over the country. Even some soldiers were present. Also present was comrade Malala Yousafzai, who spoke in the debates. She was full of confidence and enthusiasm in the just cause for which she was fighting."

So please go determine which madarassa Mr. Woods studied at before making baseless claims.

That being said, I think we need to understand she is but a girl and a young one at that who was thrust into this situation. I hardly think she is to be classifed as "baligh" and in any way an expert on such affairs so as to blame her. Rather, it is her father who put her into the hot seat.

There is something bad if the counsel is bad and utterly retarded. Being the next Benazir Bhutto may be a something of a gold standard for you, but ought not to be for a Pashtun, whatever stripe their lungaay may be. Whats more important is that the girl expressed confidence herself in wanting to be a scientist and the counsel was to deter such a pure conviction and thrust an innocent into being a symbol through machinations and AIRRA generated designs though such was never her intention. That is revolting. Its about as intellectually honest as training a child to wear a suicide vest; both approaches are abhorrent and equal and sum up to using a child for cannon fodder.

I'd prefer to see the competitive records and grades and marks between her and the other girls before making an emotional assessment. You are also the same person who thinks Osho and Sheela were cosmic geniuses so its hard for me to take your academic standard seriously.

Once again, thanks for confirming the links to that odiously corrupt party that endorses targeted killing of Pashtuns both in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Nope. The original article delved into how this was AIRRA designed attention. What an idiotic comment. The Atlantic Article implicates Abdul Hai in having WROTE the diary for a 12 year old in a manner that politicizes the situation.

Lets see what Harvard's standard on plagiarism and others writing your essays for you amounts to:

"When you fail to cite your sources, or when you cite them inadequately, you commit plagiarism, an offense that is taken extremely seriously at Harvard. Plagiarism is defined as the act of either intentionally OR unintentionally submitting work that was written by someone else. If you turn in a paper that was written by someone else, or if you turn in a paper in which you have copied material from any source without citing that source, you are guilty of plagiarizing."

        http://isites.harvard.edu/icb/icb.do...tabgroup106849

Basically Ziaddun and Abdul Hai decided to take their AIRRA agenda to the big time and the BBC foolishly permitted them to use their channel as a propaganda machine so as to make the Red Cell Memo a reality and perpetuate imperialism in the area:

        http://www.wikileaks.org/wiki/CIA_re...e,_11_Mar_2010

And this action on the part of Abdul Hai pretty much confirms, with a certainty that he rendered Malala and her father as plagiarists by the Harvard definition:

"as the act of either intentionally OR unintentionally submitting work that was written by someone else."

But then again, the marxists cum reborn capitalists are never ashamed to stoop low and committ such acts. After all, we have Miss Andersen taking a small sample size with untraceable data points to reflect the full FATA population. This is pretty much a milignant clown show and the Huffington Post has been keen to out their retardedness.

Uh, thats Malalaay and or Malalai. Pretty insulting comment to Pashtun history. And you dont appear to remember that

        A) Malalaay was a baligh woman and conducted an on the spot act of bravery without any set of pushers behind her
        B) Malalaay was martyred on her own soil
        C) Impromptu action of that great lady does not equal a designed diary by Abdul Hai

Uh what a stupid comment. First of all, you even pour contempt on the folks over there "dieing for their convictions" in your own words so no one is dumb enough to care about your standards.

Second its an idiotic comment because ole Ziauddin was the one to claim he'd never leave the soil even under durress. LOL.

Another idiotic comment. Lets see what the CIA's lead man Scheuer has to say about Islamo fascism:

        http://www.antiwar.com/scheuer/?articleid=11670

"Podhoretz is big on pinning the Islamofascist label on our Islamist enemies. The phrase has nothing to do with reality, of course, as the Islamists are far from fascists, though they clearly are the most dangerous threat America now confronts"

"But Podhoretz does not care about understanding the enemy's real motivation and attributes in order to annihilate him as quickly as possible. By using the term Islamofascist he seeks only to block any debate on the neoconservative agenda by ensuring that its critics are identified as pro-fascist, therefore anti-American, therefore pro-Nazi, and therefore anti-Semitic. Other notable men have described this tactic as the Big Lie, and it is a neocon specialty and trademark."

So nice try but since you love to be intellectually "sodomized" in your own words by those you deem superior, well I would say Scheuer just tore you a new one. So go answer the white guy, not me.

Who is pulling the trigger and why?
Read the first part of what I wrote.

"A few things right off the bat:

        1. Whatever the circumstances, however war torn a country is, most human beings accept that shooting a child (relatively speaking) in the head is wrong, period. It doesnt matter if the child openly worships Satan or walks with angels. Secular ethical and religious ethical codes all agree on this point.
        2. It appears that attacking symbolic human beings whether with the establishment or resistance will create the basis for overturning your moral imperitive. Take for instance the killing of Bhutto. That move was in many ways responsible for one of the most corrupt human beings on earth being propelled into power on an emotional counterwave. Or Musharraf killing Bugti did not put a lid on Balochi resistance... it only widened its appeal.

So ethically and practically speaking its a double wrong."

So I dont think anyone justifies the act. However, true justice and judgement requires prudence. The shooters and attempted murderers should be dealt with to the full extent of the law. That however does not absolve the machinations and designs of these folks who are hell bent on ensuring sustained interventionalism in the region and using any means no matter how digusting, even if it means putting your child in the line of fire, to fulfill these designs:

        http://www.wikileaks.org/wiki/CIA_re...e,_11_Mar_2010

And you are not naive person. If you have Westerners who design Geneva conventions and then abandon them and you have Islamists who break the limits of their own religious law, it pretty much shows that in the status of war that is imposed on a poor and rural people, you better be careful because there is no Sir Lancelot riding around to step in and stop these actions. Books and Fairy tales make war seem like some commendable action where super heroes fight wars in a fair way... in reality since time immemorial people have hit below the belt. That is why bringing a war to such a distraught region in the first place is a horrible thing to do.

You have been to the villages and so have I. You know full well the status of women and so do I. And you also know that people have the right to develop systems of governance on their own and in their own time. They dont need a brow beating from us to be made to understand that "bare women" and women of all brands being kept out of school will set the society back. Every autonomous society has been allowed to evolve their own view on this subject without others butting into the business of locals. If the Americans had 400 years to evolve their view of governance, and if only recently did the House of Representatives have their first woman speaker then Pashtuns also deserve the right to live as they please and have the family structure and rural regard for life that they please until they themselves decide to change this.

The intention, as released by Assange in the Red Cell Memo, is not to make sure Malala can go to school. Its to use the incident and others like it to basically garner media attention and then justify sustained interventionalism for goals that have nothing to do with sustaining womens rights or advancing them.

For that matter, it ought not be just womens rights but human rights. I think it revolting that a large scale thug or governmental figures whose sons were outcompeted are allowed into prestigious institutions while their rural competitors and outdoers languish, but not an iota of attention is paid to that.

True justice is not simply pandering to the popular perception and the illogical perception of what is best for an occupied people. True justice is speaking out against the original sin itself (the occupation) whether it is by Pakistan or the NATO powers.

An imbelic comment. What you basically say up there translates to: uuuh let me take a swipe and somehow say that all Muslim fathers since time immemorial have had self interests so how dare anyone criticise this guy. Where does Tor Khan allege that Islamists have done more for their kids than this guy? Are you that much of an automatan that any criticism is answered with the idiotic Islamist accusation even against an adherent of Bacha Khan like Tor Khan??? He may be too nice to say it, but you really look dumb when you get emotional and starting reaching into your bag of generated tricks when you are backed into a corner. If Dawkins himself criticized you you would resort to calling him an Islamist.

Uh just three pages before you were bragging of the anti imperialist credentials of the guy and yet you seem to whither and riggle in your rage to justify how serving in London itself is anything but that. The very Brits that you claim your amazing heroes were out to work against are not his paymasters... so how praytell is that going to add to the anti imperialist credentials. Once again Tor Khan is just too nice to say it, but you look buffoonish when you sit there and try to accuse those that are generally in agreement with your arguments and those who have expressed praise for Khudai Khidmatgaar, as Tor Khan has, of being closet Islamists. It just validates my argument that you are a programmed automotan with just one last resort... which is to label anyone with valid criticism as being an "islamist." Dont be goy or misrepresentative that is exactly what you are trying to label him as.

And that hardly explains the 3 million pounds book deal(oh let me guess all of it is going to charity riiiiiight.)

Maybe this time he will actually let her write the book himself instead of having Abdul Hai write it so its not blatant plagiarism... and or he will let him have a piece of the money package.

Well of course these folks dont have an independent state silly! They have folks like you around that claim to be anti imperialist then shape shift into marxists who were pro Russians who then shape shift into capitalists overnight to justify strong men and sustained occupation. LOL.

Well if I were him, and I had Abdul Hai write a diary and admit it in the Atlantic and then claim he had a 12 year old narrate it to him (perhaps their new religion of sorts since they take trouble with the claim of a man 1400 years ago claiming an angel dictated a divine text to him) and then I said that I'd never leave Swat and then I told my daughter who wanted to be a doctor that she needs to be in politics and then I thrust her out there according to teh AIRRA mission and I claimed that I could not find a single nother girl to want the change to write the Gul Makai diaries..., and then I decided to accept a 3 million pound book deal, I would not want to make such a big deal of it either.

I think Randolph is 100% correct. When you decide to make high flying claims and when you politicize a war and get so involved as to accept monetary benefits, you open yourself up such serious questions that are valid.

Karzai and these others use the same quote "history will judge." A popular quote by those that have not read a page of any tarikh ever. Let them read about Shah Shujaa and then can try to understand history a bit.

Nice try. I thank God every day that my pay is not dependent nor is my sustenance dependent on any state or player in any way. If Mullah Omar does something unjust I can criticize him as I can AIRRA colleagues of yours. I am a free agent and as a passive observer am filled with great joy when I see you resorting to such rage filled comments. This is because I know that truth hurts the most and the truth results in you having to reach into the blind rage bag of tricks to answer with such drivel.

Thank you for clarifying your view. This one statement should become the footnote of all your posts. It can be translated as the follows:

Hey Comrade, Randolph, Admin etc and others who thanked the original post and looked at the SOLID referenced sources not linking to any conspiracy mongering websites and the Atlantic Monthly Interview, dont be use your innate sense of wanting to know the basis and evidence. Only know the evidence that we want for you.... we the supposed Pashtun Nationalists across the border who claim that somehow we are going to save Afghanistan despite our very own involvement as much as the others in its internal affairs in the 1980s. No no, we want to pertend our hands were clean and that we had no primary or secondary motive and that all we spoke about was autonomy for brethren. We want to pertend this is teh case despite being the double head of hypocrasy.

How can you guys be such hypocrites decrying Islamists to the left and the right for not living up to convictions when the very same state that you claim to abhor is the very same state you are a part of governing. Oooooooh wait for it... wait for it... wait for it... the word of the day is "Political expendiency." That is, your collusion and involvement is "politically savvy" that is you are pertending to be a part of the establishment but are being the clever "da lastonraay maaroon" ready to disintegrate the state that gives you guys the same pot bellies as the other politicians there... yet you mysteriously decry the approaches of the Muslim Ikhwaan like Morsi who take teh same approach... Basically you guys are the ikhwaanyaan in your own way.

You are mad that these folks, who by the way, have had heated arguments with me and who pretty much disagree with a lot of what I say, decided, on their own, to look at an argument and its merits.

Your concern is that they will realize that your ikhwanism is a dangerous ikhwanism as it relates to the view of them. After all, Soldat Amir, the poster child of this movement has had to apologise a few times for his derogatory commentary to this effect:

"A few wellinformed Pakistani-origin Pashtuns believe that some powerful fellow Pashtuns within Pakistan have a very chauvinistic belief in the superiority of Pakistan’s Pashtuns when compared to Afghanistan’s Pashtuns. Additionally, they appear to have adopted a plan to support and modernize their Afghan Pashtun cousins in an effort to recover their ethnic group’s lost primacy in South Asia.2 As with nearly all ethnic nationalist groups, recovering lost status, power, and territory often becomes a historic necessity of ethnic nationalists and Pakistan’s Pashtuns clearly appear to be on this sort of political and military trajectory."
