For me this is conformation/proof that this forum doesn’t represent real life Pashtuns at all, i haven’t met a Pashtun from either side of the imaginary border that doesn't view another Pashtun as his brother.

A few is better than nothing atleast. The excuse of more pashtuns being in pakistan is good enough for tajiks to call pashtuns pakis. It's only the peshwari pashtuns who are beghirat and call themselves paki. Atleast Godar pashtuns from quetta consider themselves afghan.Originally posted by Khostai View Posta few is not enough.
We must make Afghanistan safe and stabel, thats our first and the most important task, history have already shown us that Pakistany Pashtuns are not interested in uniting.Last edited by Kushan Prince; 03-19-2013, 05:23 PM."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

If Khushal khan Khattak was alive today and he was reading this, then he would be chopping of the heads of those pashtuns who sold themselves to ISI pakistan. With you included.Originally posted by Da Bannu Mazdigar View PostI dont like punjabi.what i meant is the hate between punjabi and pashtun atleast in pakistan doesnt exist anymore
punjabi and pashtuns are the most patriotic groups of pakistan.
well brother we are living with The same punjabis since late 1800's..
Not even my far relative has any family relation with punjabi.never lived in any city outside kpk for more than 2 weeks.
but now as i said before pashtuns of kpk are well integrated in Pakistan society.
we are first pakistanis than pashtuns, punjabi, sindhi and baloch.."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Many Pashtuns do not know that Afghan is the same as Pashtun at least ethnically. That's why they may not consider themselves Afghans or citizens of Afghanistan. This is reality that they are Pakistani citizens.Originally posted by ufo973 View PostI am grown in Peshawar and i have to say that most of the Pashtuns in Pakistan don't consider themselves as Afghan, They proudly call themselves Pakistanis and hate Afghans.
There are many non Pashtuns in Afghanistan who call themselves Afghans but they are not ethnic Afghans. What matter is that one call themselves Pashtun or not. I think we have to forget the term Afghan and focus only on the term Pashtuns for all those who live either in Afghanistan or Pakistan or any where else. If we call Pakistani Pashtuns as Afghan then we may violate constitution of Afghanistan.
The worse situation will when ethnic Pashtuns will feel hesitation to call themselves even Pashtuns because some equate being Pashtun with being Talib.

This the worst post of yours I have ever seen. You with this negative secessionist separatist kharajite attitude appears to be a cobra full of poison with tongue outside to inject the poison in the veins of millions of Pashtuns.Originally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View PostThat's why I never consider Pakistani Pashtuns as one of us. we should stay separate.
There are about 40 millions Pashtuns in Pakistan. How can you separate them from their brothers in Afghanistan. Never this will happen. They have blood of the same father. Geographical borders cannot separate them. Walls of two houses cannot separate brothers. Talk of unity not of division.

The percentage of Pashtuns and its population is no where reflected with full statistics. If we consider population of Pakistan to be 190 million and Pashtuns as 20% of the population then roughly Pashtuns are 40 million there. If we consider the widely quoted figure as 16 % then Pashtuns are about 35 Millions in Pakistan.
If we take this link as a source then Pashtuns in Pakistan are about 30 Millions in Pakistan now as after 2005 7 years passed.
Demographics of Pashtoon Population
Demographics of the Pashtun population

^30 million sounds more realistic. There are about 60 million pashtuns in the world so how could 40 million be in pakistan? None the less, pashtuns are and always will be the biggest majority in Afghanistan despite at a 42 % population."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Yes it is interesting. Majority of Pashtuns live in Pakistan but will be always a minority there.
In Afghanistan they will be always a majority and if economic conditions of Afghanistan improve, many Pashtuns from different parts of the world may migrate to Afghanistan as Jews throughout the world are migrating to Israel.
Whatever number we take as 30 , 40 or 20 millions for Pakistani Pashtuns, it makes no difference but we cannot disown them. Even a single Pashtun should not be disowned or ousted from the fold of Pashtunwali, Pashto and Pashtuns. We are all one under the great umbrella of Pashtunwali, the greatest, strongest bond for our unity, cohesion, strength, identity and power.

Speaking Urdu is not something despicable. We may learn and speak any language including Persian, Urdu or even Hebrew but may not forget our own language.
