Tableeghi Jumat: the indirect cause of extremism and terrorism

After discussions with many friends and observing my own self I have come to the conclusion that Tableeghi Jumat is the indirect cause of Extremism and terrorism amongst Pashtuns and Muslims as a whole. Tableeghi Jumat thus should be declared a promoter of Terrorism. I reached to this conclusion because
1. Tableeghi Jumat follows the same Deobandi and Wahabi/salafi ideology and beliefs system
2. They have a well organized system to make the people highly religious and in many cases extremists. Other similar groups do not have such a system.
3. They use silent diplomacy of not involving in politics directly but make the people religious minded who for fulfilling their extreme ideas approach extremists like Taliban and Alqaida
4. They in a cunning way behave to be peaceful but once after training with them the people become charged with religious bigot-ism become members of terrorists and extremists.
5. They spread haltered for this world , only focus on Here after and consider this world to be a deception while the life after death is the only reality , thus suicide bombers are motivated and blow themselves to enter paradise as soon as possible
6.They ban music, arts, dance, cinema, tv, radio,newspapers etc , promote long beards, special dress, use of miswak and not tooth brush thus working against modernism, development and enlightenment and preaching obscurantism, fundamentalism and conservatism which all lead to extremism and terrorism.
7. Many extremists and terrorists remain members of Tableeghi Jumaat. Following is one example

Tableegh Jamaatis are parallel to the salafis, they are so peaceful almost sufi like, that point does not make sense.

If they have a well organized system to make people highly religious then bravo, as a Muslim the end goal is to be religious as possible anyway. In other words your saying you prefer Islamic groups that are not as good as promoting Islam, how strange.

It is not a ridiculous excuse to skapegoat a group of people for extremism or terrorism. I have given some evidence based on my own observation, experiences and discussions with many others that Tableeghi Jumaat indirectly promote extremism and Terrorism.

I personally know few families in Kunarh and Khyber Pashtunkhwah who were first memebrs of Tableeghi Jumaat but then joined taliban and provided few suicide bombers

Tableegh Jamaatis are parallel to the salafis and they are so peaceful almost sufi like but they promote puritanism and obscurantism which become the cause of other evils. They themselves are not involved in terrorism but promote it indirectly.

Their organization is efficient and effective thus having results to make the society and especially Pashtun society radicalized and extremist. Now marriages in Pashtun areas are like mourning as they do not allow any kind of merry making or celebrations. No festivals or festivities can be seen in Pashtun areas where tableegis are dominant.

Women are allowed to go out of homes to go to hospitals in extreme emergency and that too in shuttle cock burqas. No where else they can move. Only exception can be a marriage in very close family. A woman even cannot see brother of her husband.

No music or TV etc indirectly leads to a primitive and dull kind of society and where only entertainment can be to kill others for Jihad. Modernism in a sense is scientific development which tableeghi consider irrelevant as they think this whole world is a deception and the only reality is life after death.

My "jurrao" with tabligh used to be regular but abonden it for a reason. I dont know how to describe it precisely, their tablighi format is more of "rehbaniat", you can experience same while doing ibadat in the cave isolated from the world. It can give some purpose, a cause to a purposeless person in the society, but it also pushes a handy, useful, constructive member of society to "bekari", narrow minded-ness, bigotry......because of its "rehbaniat" touch, it is explosively dangerous for young boys in the teens , especially if they are students... In my opinion you cant ignore the realities of life, this anti-duniya thinking of tablighis doesnt make sense to me...they have invented/innovated their own 5 times "aamal" per day and other tablighi regulations parallel to already established set up in islam and insist that you wont be able to follow islam without required enviroment for it, for that they suggest to go with them on "tours" for days, weeks, months, years....while in my opinion islam is relevant to your 24 hour life, your family, your society, your place of living. You dont need to go to lahore or some distant place to "refresh" your islam. And the tabligh, which our prophet and his sahaba did, which these raiwind guys claim to do, should be done by experts in islam. I dont know if they are promoting terrorism especially in pashtun areas, but they are making big portion of pashtun nation as useless people, burden on our nation....according to some 80% of tablighis are pashtuns while their entire upper, controlling set up is punjabi. ...

I was actually close with Tableeghi Jamat group here in Canada for a while during my highschool days. I'll say this, I really didn't like the way they did things, I thought it was useless and totally unproductive, but from what I could tell they were a non extremist group. Their way of spreading Islam and Islamic message is questionable and like I said in most cases it is totally useless and unproductive, but comparing them to some Salafi/Whabhi extremist terrorist groups is not right.

The Tablighi Jamat (preacher's party) may have good intentions but it has only increased narrow-mindedness and conservatism in our society at a time when we need to catch up with the rest of the world.

It misguides people in the sense that it says that all their political, social and economic problems will be automatically solved if they strictly observe holy rituals.

The Tablighi Jamat lays no emphasis on education. If anything, it demotes modern learning as a secondary option.

The Tablighi Jamat promotes segregation and discrimination on the basis of gender (it is itself a male-dominated organization).

The Tablighi Jamat offers no solutions to the problems faced by Muslims across the world. Instead, it wants Muslims to grow beards and pray and hope that their situation would magically improve. It also undermines progress in Muslim societies by guiding its followers to focus more on Sugarcandy Mountain (the afterlife) than on solving the problems they face in this world.

In Pashtun areas, the Tablighi Jamat misuses the religious nature of Pashtuns. A Tablighi Pashtun will never, for instance, believe in the cause of allocating resources found in Pashtun areas for the Pashtun people, increasing enrollment in schools, preserving Pashto, preserving the cultural identity of Pashtuns, unifying the divided Pashtuns in Pakistan under a single banner so that they can fight for their political rights, etc.
