  • What to do with pseudo-Pashtuns?

There are some people here who down-play the importance of Pashtun identity and try to replace it with Paaakkkki identity? We all know Pakistan is an artificial entity and couldn't be a substitute for the 2000+ years of Pashtun identity.

What should this forum do with such people? Should these people be considered enemies? Are these people curable?

Most of them are "confused nuerotically deactivated retards" and need psychological help.

If you read their posts they prove :

      1) Confusion : which is a state of indecision acccording to the psychology

      2) Nuerotic deactivation: this means that the bio psychic mechanism of his body is not helping him relate things and

      3) Retardness :meaning that its just an indication of his low IQ level.

This analysis might help them psychologically otherwise they would have to go to a psychiatrist who will tell them the same eye opening facts but after charging them a big fee.

Sometimes, like now, you DZJ say the best of things. The one above is an example. A litmus test to show the hypocrisy of a few. How they can bend and twist their words to suite their own ends. Thanx for clearing it up for all of us.

A good number of Pashtuns have grown up with Pakistan Studies, PTV, anti-India hate mongering, etc... They did not grow up with knowledge of their history. In fact, the only form of nationalism they witness comes from the much maligned ANP. Now ANP is a controversial party because of it's secularism, Socialism and ties to the Congress Party. Add all these factors and you have your average Pashtun equating Pashtun nationalism with being "a RAW agent". Their hatreed or disagreement with the ANP has resulted in their misunderstanding and rejection of lar ao bar. Our very own pro-Pakistani members actually believe that if you talk about your Pashtun identity superceding all other labels, you HAVE to be a pro-India RAW sympathizer who wants nothing less than doing whatever Delhi wants you to do. Just go through their posts.

The way forward is to educate these people instead of ridiculing them.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

No one has a complete monopoly on what it is to be a Pashtoon. And the definitions of who is and isn't don't just stop there.

Pashtoons are politically and religiously composite, they are humanly fallible, they are sometimes racially mixed and nationally spread.

I'm not uncomfortable at the idea of people setting up threads that lack real purpose on such serious issues.

More than that the inherent problem I come across time and time again is actually a pseudo-sense of puritanical self which is based on crooked nostalgia and it's worse when such judgments comes from Pashtoons raised in the west with no sense of practicality who are at best clutching at straws.

I'm sorry if that sounds like peghor, but it's honest.

I just want to see people do something practical than set up threads where the suggestion is that we purge our society and people so that we end up with "pure" Pashtoons.

Amir Muqam single-handedly shamed Shangla...if a donkey were an MP that would Amir Muqam. Saifullah Marwat well their family's treachery apparently go as far back as the British. Qazi own kids go to nice private schools, and he stood in elections during musharraf's time, only for him to label Karzai's election illegal lolzz. Pot calling the kettle black hahaha.

Malgariya, No one is assuming the the right to grade/save/discard Pashtuns according to his/her wishes. We are trying to establish which attributes are central to those among Pashtuns who are our brethren-in-cause. Nothing more.
Secondly, malgariya, this 'psuedo-sense of puritanical self' that you speak of comes from the fact that one has been of value to the Pashtun cause. It's second source is the historical precedence, which tells us that those who have certain attributes such as, finding reasons for the dominance of Punjabis and the servitude of Pashtuns, pose a danger to the Pashtun cause. It's third source is the will to see Pashtuns as a progressive, developed and modern nation, which implies that anyone who stands in the way of these goals is a hindrance to the cause. The fourth source is the fact that not everyone can just sit around and let the forces hostile to the Pashtun cause take the centre stage and be the movers and shakers.
Living in the West or being physically seperated from Pashtunkhwa is not a big issue. These are not the days of camels, though some of our 'brethren' would have us behave that way.
No one has spoken of any purges. The real essence of political work is the education and mobilization of the masses. This should remove any doubts that any one has regarding our intended audience.
