^ not obsessed but I want to learn about them because I find them interesting, their cultures gives a glimpse of how life might have been in the area before Islam, they are also mentioned in many ancient books like (Rig Vedas). They surely deserve to keep their history, cultures, languages alive and not be swallowed by surrounding cultures

Why divide humanity further when you can make one nation with provences or states in that fashion. The EU is evolving and uniting into one unit while you guys are thinking of dividing and de-evolving, going backwards while the rest of the world is going forward.Originally posted by Musa Khan Yusufzai View PostIt's pretty obvious, just make countries based off of this map, its so easy ! We should for once make nation states -_-, and i'll post this on Afghan and Pakistani forums.
The khalifat created a vast political and economic unit from different cultures and languages, different peoples and it lasted for centuries. Nation states with set borders are a thing of the past, creating borderless economic and political ties is the way of the future. Europe is doing it and South East Asia is following suit.

When these people are divided they can be better crushed.
But we muslim shall unite as we were when we were fighting with Salahudin al Ayoubi, when we were fighting mischief on this earth.
Afghans should think about invading the Al Hind (Pak-India).....:-)High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

History has a way of repeating itself. The more likely scenario emerging in a couple of decades will be for Pakistan / Punjab to invite the Afghans yet once again to cross the Hindukush (meaning Kill Hindus), and descend upon the Indo-Gangetic plain. The current ill treatment of the Muslims in Hindustan will see another Ahmed Shah Baba coming forward to pitch his tents on the plains of Panipath.Originally posted by Afghanistan2010 View PostWhen these people are divided they can be better crushed.

I am not comfortable with that scenario and although history repeats, it is also something to learn from.Originally posted by asad71 View PostHistory has a way of repeating itself. Whilst the idea of a modern charismatic Afghan who is able to unite us is ideal, he may or may not necessarily be from a military background and nor might he have his designs on conquering 'Al Hind'.
Indian Muslims are a big enough group to manage their own affairs and hardly need external intervention as you appear to be suggesting. The majority of them remain loyal to their country. As for ill-treatment of Muslims, you don't have to step outside Afghanistan, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia to find examples of Muslims being ill-treated. In short we can start by leaving the Hindus right out of this and begin with concentrating on what we do to each other.
The damage done by the Partition of India, is felt, not surprisingly in Afghanistan itself and amongst the Pashtuns in Pakistan. You think Pakistan's interference/stoking of militancy was for our benefit? Absolutely not. This was for Pakistan's own grand designs at countering India's influence. We, the Pashtuns, were made the cannon fodder in the process.
If misplaced egos of the Muslims of Pakistan, Bangladesh or any other other country lead them wanting to pitch their tents at Panipath, I would rather that on this occasion the Pashtuns focus on something that is more productive to their own affairs by refusing to go along.
