Faye he admitted to U.S. meddling as what nurtured the Taliban problem, even affirms the Taliban are itself a product of U.S. meddling.

thus your argument holds no water in context to the debate

no proof. in other words you are making false accusations against me,to deviate.

you have your interpretation and perceptions of this interview and i have mine. i do not see that hashemi got owned. that does not make me a terrorism supporter nor apologist for terrorism.
so try not to get so frantic about someone having a different take on an issue.

No that's what you're doing, I am describing what you're doing; in fact you're actually the one deviating here bringing up Rubin's ethnicity and what not, which is irrelevant.

Your interpretations and perceptions are based on logical fallacies as YOU yourself demonstrated by trying to divert from the content.

Hashemi lied and Rubin called him out, that's all there is to it.

how so? i called you on your red herring and lack of proofs, as usual.
you're just usually, the expert at deviation trickery and not getting called on it.

From a direct source at Yale, Hashemi actually was called to meet with politicians who said they would speak out on his behalf if he renounced Mullah Omar. When he refused to do so this led to an acceleration of his dismissal despite maintaining a GPA appropriate for the program he was enrolled in, which was a programed that grandfathers in foreign graduates.

                          http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/26/ma...anted=all&_r=0

The article above actually shows that these political labels people attach to Pashtuns of Talib, ISI agent, and Karzai affiliate are pretty much meaningless.

What is actually interesting about the article is that it documents how Akbar (whose father is a Karzai affiliate), Hashemi, and Khattak (son of a Pakistani tribal chief and military official) were close knit and defended eachother as brotherlike.

Hashemi was a young boy at the time and had learned English and various sciences on his own.

I would contrast his progress at Yale, in an academic sense, with that of the current Atarmites and Fulbright folks as well as the children of Kabul Bank and government officials who are merely using Yale to get a paper certificate that will allow them to establish plutocracy and feudalism in Afghanistan. I have direct contacts and am witness to the latter folks and can tell you that they had many wonderful academic opportunites that they continue to squander.

where does the article say that his refusal to denounce Mullah Omar accelerated his dismissal?

From a direct source at the Yale College Hashemi studied at and Khattak. They discussed this with me in person. Doing a widespread search on Hashemi's statements on the Taliban accords with their reports because while he does make it clear that he did not agree personally with certain actions (as does Zaeef), he never once take on any of the shura leadership council.

Interestingly enough what both parties convey was that Hashemi, a Kandahari, found issue with some of the Arab fighters in Kandahar but not the Shura council. He felt that their behavior toward locals was unjust.
