well, i don't know all that he saw and knew but people can be led by propaganda and indoctrination, then change their path.
any way i thought he was a good calm speaker.

you seem to forget where he is coming from. he was not reared as some yuppie american with your education.
well that's because you're responding based on your extreme prejudice towards me. He seemed very befuddled, all he could do is repeat "cruise missile cruise missle" as if that excuses everything the Taliban does.

I know where he comes from, He was apart of the entire scheme of the Taliban regime, he knew what was going on. That's what differs, hence he got owned. He may have changed but in this case he was debunked hard.

don't take it personal when i don't agree with you, that is not the case at all.

did sayyid hashemi write a book to say what he saw and knew? he must have been young when he joined. do you have some proof i can look at?

how's about 'owning' what and who our dr rubin represents.
quick research says he is a bilderberger groupie. does he have an israeli as well as an american passport? is he an isreali/american who helped afghanistan write it's constitution?
even just as a rep of america, who have killed many muslims, and possibly bombed iraq and afghanistan with depleted uranium, which is genocide, he is not someone who should be 'owning' anybody.

what does his nationality have to do the facts he presents?

No , I think he represents stuff from an objective stand point, or else he wouldn't have explained the faults of the Americans/West in the burgeoning of the situation.

              nice try though Faye

well, naturally, he is also an oil businessman and has a company in afghanistan.

so, where is the proof of your accusations about the young sayyid hashemi, then? i am still waiting.

anyway he appears to be a bright young man, willing to be versatile and educate himself.
even some of the jewish students at yale, were supportive of him being there.

this former talibs transformation aside, i think he held his ground well enough. there are 2 sides which is rubin arguing from a higher playing field in which he has the luxury of criticism, and hashemi who can counteract criticism by playing the victim card of the taliban in those days(which was far more legit than western grievances against them at the time). both have their strong points and i get the impression that hashemi has very little connection to the inner workings of the taliban, while rubin understands afghanistan but doesn't understand the people besides diaspora who toot his own horn.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

impressions aside , he met with the Taliban leaders, was present at many of events or related occurrences. Rubin rightfully called him out and he caved.

all we can really give Hashemi credit for is great diction. He had more or less no answers for massacres of civilians which he half heartedly tried to deny.

the victim card "cruise missile" harping, rubin rightfully called out on that these are ploys.

While I dont think you have anything personal against anyone. People that think that, it is just paranoia. But the mentally ill sexual pervert is right when he says that his jewness has nothing to do with what he is saying because what he is saying can be confirmed as fact or denied as false. On that note Hashami did correct him on a few points. What I saw was that Rubin and Chalie were getting owned.

Rubin does describe the situation accurately but was corrected by hashami on certain points. Rubin describes the destruction of the afghan society done by major powers with billions of dollars. Anything and Everything that was at value such as the educated class, roads, buildings, all infrastructure was allienated, and from that chaos and destruction came a reaction from the group(the traditional rurals) that was marginalized by all powers in Kabul in the past 100 years.

Charlie Rose that was owned when he was going back and forth with Hashami about OBL and Rubin interrupted and told Charlie that people in Afghanistan are worried about their own interests and you are asking them to worry about American interests and that is a problem because he admits that the US does not have a policy towards Afghanistan but it has a policy towards OBL which should be corrected.

Rubin was owned during the discourse about how Pakistan is giving arms to the Taliban and Hashami fired back rightfully that Afghanistan has no shoratage of arms. That the problem in Afghanistan is neither ethnic nor political but the problem is the existance of armed groups and the Talibans main goal was to disarm the groups of warlords. Rubin backtracked and agreed.

Rubin was also owned by argueing that the taliban dont involve the afghan people and that Omar was elected by 1200 mullahs which represents a narrow population of the country. Hashami responded by saying that it is impossible to have a fair and free election during the chaos that the country is in which Rubin backtracked and agreed again.

Rubin did describe the destruction of the statues perfectly. He described it as a cry for help from a destoyed society in an extreme situation by reasoning that the situation in Afghanistan was on no ones radar until the destruction of the statues happened.

One very intersting thing that Rubin said was that the old royals tried to take charge of the insurgency against the communists when the Soviets invaded but Pakistan was against the idea and started funneling all support to seven different groups and the US went along with it which produced a disasterous situation.

Rubin describing Masood as a great guerilla commander against the Soviets is completely false and misleading.

I love how cowardly Khushal uses replies to make back handed insults; doesn't surprise me since basically he's admitted to incestual relationships since he is "like his father"

what porn stories so when news reports talk about incest, they're making porn stories?

You are really an idiot and sexually confused. Grown men shouldn't feel antsy when sexual topics are raised, but alas you were raised in Peshawar, I see why you're insecure
