The problem with Taliban are that they are against people's welfare and progress. What the heck is burning schools and clinics about? People can no longer tolerate this and nor can they remain indifferent any longer, if anything health, education, livelihood is more important to them than nothing that the Taliban can deliver to bring an ounce of positive change in their lives. Ten years have taught them a lesson. Most people are not for Taliban at all.

The Taliban need to change they subversive terrorist activities which is to the detriment of the general populace. The terms of the game has changed entirely; they could burn schools and clinics even till 5-6 years ago in order to subvert the government's writ and not let it to turn the population on its side. This is no longer a viable strategy for the Taliban. When an insurgency fights and resorts these kind of activities, in addition to exhibiting its strength they must also have political and ideological message one that appeals to the populace, and one that gives a better hope in material terms as well. Human being have a cost-benefit calculation, and some time they don't mind losing something to gain something in return. Most people are coming to conclusion that there is nothing and under no circumstance to gain from Taliban.

It seems that on almost every level Taliban are losing and their truncated strategies are becoming counterproductive. If anything, and if they were capable, they need to scale up their political game and fight more on intellectual grounds.

We are more close to Paktika than Khost,because most tribes are seperated or located around Paktya and Paktika,as for the Zadrans half of the Zadrans are in Paktika and half or majority in Paktya.

Khost has more prominence than Paktia; location-wise, larger population, more progressive looking, developed, well-off, political significant etc.

If the Taliban really were burning schools and clinics like it was done by some Jihadi movements back in the 80's why would they deny it?

It was officially the party line of some movements back in 80's to do so because they wanted to extinguish any sign of progress that could be attributed to the communists.

However, in most provinces in the south not only do the Taliban allow schools, they even prescribe the curriculum that is taught there.

You claim to be a Muslim. Be one in action and in your speech. Don't just spread lies because it suites your polticial interests. Have some decency.

i do not endorse anything the Taliban do, dispite the fact that I love them very much, but even I would denounce if they do something against Islam and I have. But what I dont understand from people like you is, on the one hand you claim to be a Muslim, on the other hand you go out blasting against any Muslim movement falsely accusing them and attributing falsehood against them.
